Afforestation is a game from 重赞 韩, first launched in 16th September 2016.
It’s rated 4+ and currently has 17+ ratings on the App Store.
What Makes Afforestation Stand Out
■ Game Introduction
Afforestation is an individual developed LBS game.
This game combines the players’ real daily activities, where to go and where to play.
Players can plant trees at every place they go across.
Each player expands his or her territory by going to different places.
If you like to travel around and go to new places, you have a huge advantage in playing the game.
■ Territory Introduction
Each square of 20m*20m is the smallest unit of a territory.
Each unit is allowed to plant only one tree, first come, first served, and the latter can grab land with hatchet.
In theory, about 3 million trees can be planted in the main urban area of Beijing.
About 30 billion trees can be planted in China and 16 billion in the world.
■ Trees Introduction
Players can gain experience by planting trees, and new tree species can be obtained as the level increases.
Specific information is as follows:
Camphor: Level 1 own. Each tree gains 5 experience points and 1 new seed for 1 hour.
Ginkgo: Level 10 own. Each tree gains 20 experience points and 1 new seed for 6 hours.
Red Maple: Level 20 own. Each tree gains 45 experience points and 1 new seed for 12 hours.
Cherry: Level 30 own. Each tree gains 80 experience points and 1 new seed for 1 day.
Blue Cedar: Level 40 own. Each tree gains 125 experience points and 1 new seed for 3 days.
Purple: Level 50 own. Each tree gains 180 experience points and 1 new seed for 5 days.
Christmas: Level 60 own. Each tree gains 245 experience points and 1 new seed for 7 days.
… and so on.
■ Capability Introduction
Players will own six specific capabilities: Sense/Harvest/Attack/Defence/Energy/Recovery.
The initial point of each capability is 10, and 2 capability points can be obtained for each level up.
By improving the capabilities, players can improve the ability of planting trees and acquiring more information.
Specific information is as follows
Sense: The initial sense value is 10. You can get more info from the game by increase the sense value. The sense value is up to 100.
Harvest: The initial harvest value is 10. When using the farmer, you can get (harvest 40) trees' stocks. The harvest value is up to 100.
Attack: The initial attack value is 10. You can cut the tree whose armor is not more than your attack. The attack value is up to 150.
Defence: The initial defence value is 10. Add (defence / 5) armors for the tree planted. When using the Shield, the tree will increase (defence 1) armors. The defence value is up to 100.
Energy: The initial energy value is 10. Consume 1~5 points to plant 1 tree. Restore 1 energy point every 60 seconds. The energy value is up to 100.
Recovery: The initial recover value is 10. When using the bean, the energy will increase (recover * 1) points. The recover value is up to 100.
■ Monster Introduction
Players can find some little monsters near themselves, and if they succeed to beat them, they will be able to get rich rewards.
Specific information is as follows:
Ki Ki: Level 5, high probability of occurrence, blood 1000, attack 15.
Litter Bat King: Level 10, high probability of occurrence, blood 2000, attack 30.
Naughty Green: Level 15, medium probability of occurrence, blood 3000, attack 45.
Mercury Squid: Level 20, medium probability of occurrence, blood 4000, attack 60.
Purple Potato Giant: Level 35, low probability of occurrence, blood 5000, attacks 75.
Black Ghost: level 40, low probability of occurrence, blood 6000, attack 90.
Rolling Flame: level 45, very low probability of occurrence, blood 7000, attacks 105.

Player Experience Highlights
Community Insight:
We like the game and it looks interesting. It would definitely be a five star if it had a higher player population. We know thats something you cant control, but great game we really like it.
Our data was lost when we updated the game. Also thanks for a doing a english option.
So far so good looks like a lot of fun in English. Sadly, our data from the previous version didnt sync so Im starting over.
It was fun when it worked but some times it would randomly delete trees you had placed or crash. Now it does not even come up.
Wish we can reset our stats so we can change them to something else.
The design of this game is great and as the developer said in her/his website, this is her/his first iOS app. So we want to send congratulations to the developer! The only thing that bothers us is the localization for English speaker. Many menu contents make totally no sense to us and we have to guess their meaning. We think most contents were translated using Google Translation which is not accurate at all.
