Nothing more needs to be said. This game is incredible from the graphics to the gameplay to the sounds and modes and controls. They really really have made a special game. Tail gunner mode! We didn't see that coming. You must own this game! Well worth it's price. They are underselling themselves.
As one other reviewer noted, this is an extremely well-made game. Everything about it is top-notch, and it is a fair game as well. Ive never played a better shooting game of its kind, where you can level up and have so much fun without paying a dime. Highly recommend.

Thank you for this wonderful franchise, and aside from moving onwards to hopefully Air Attack 3 (please put more Imperial Japan alongside not just only Fascist Germany most of the game please), but can do a remake/remastering Air Attack 1.
This is a classic gem that shines from beginning to end. You wont find many of these games left in the App Store. The games simple premise has you simply shooting up ships, working hard for different power ups, and progressing along all of the missions and difficulty levels. 5/5 and would love to see a sequel.

This is THE best shooter available on the iPad … Without question. Great graphics, sound, and music to boot. Purchase this at once, you wont be sorry. A++++.
There are a lot of games on here that look similar at first glance, but this is the real deal with incredibly detailed graphics, widely varied bombable environments, and truly free to play.
One of the rare mobile games that don't flood your face with ads and micro transactions, we played the first game long ago and we wish we bought the full game, recently found out they made a 2nd and its just as good as the first though we wish it was in the app store :3! Definitely worth supporting the devs.
We keep coming back to this game just because of how good it is! Great graphics,leveling up is a grind but thats what makes this game fun! And constant side events make this a perfect game to either kill time or play for hours.
We were just casually looking in the App Store for something to do, when we came across Air Attack 2. We were immediately hooked. We have never even played the first one. But we plan on downloading it too. That is, if we can stop playing this one long enough to find it. GREAT JOB DEVELOPERS.
We downloaded this game when it first came out and was blown away both by its graphics and gameplay. We love the update and am so glad that the developer didnt just leave this game on the wayside. This game, by far, is our favorite one to play. To the developer, great job here and please dont hesitate to keep updating this game and make it that much more fun to play.

From iPhone 5S to iPhone14P we never deleted it because the sentimental: a classic game that never goes out of style. We feel like we're back in 2015. Ah, the good old days.
Saw a recent review for this old classic that had been recently updated and bought it for $.99. We have really been enjoying and miss the old days of the $1-5 games that were incredible. Do yourself a favor and pick this one up.

For the developers, we sincerely wanna say thank you very much for still making an honest game like this to exist. We used to play the first air attack on the original ipad and that experience was beautiful. The fact that you guys only charge $0.99 for a masterpiece like this is truly remarkable. Especially in this era where seems like almost every developers only care about maximizing profit over gameplay. Will support games like this forever.
But the game it very fun but we dont like to pay for stuff we like free game like Roblox but air attack two we still very uhh so download it we hope we get to 5 stars.

We love the game, perfect. It seems no other top down shooter lives up to this one, now we are very biased and picky. The only thing we would change is the fact that there isnt a part 3.
You guys ever going to update this game? This is ridiculous. We got this game while living in Australia years ago. Then its been radio silence from this developer. What a waste of great potential.
The gameplay, the epic music, the epic progression which includes and tells its own storythis airplane arcade lifts our experience to a new height [bah dum tiss].

Air attack hd was one of the first games we ever played as a kid, playing air attack 2 brings back memories of the game and how amazing and fun it is.

Beautiful graphics, crazy fun to play.
Hard to find another space/air shooter that matches the level of quality in this game. Definitely could use more content and balance adjustments. Its easy to beat the game without really getting to experience all the planes and upgrades. Conversely its hard to actually get all the upgrades without it being a bit of a grind.
This game def deserves all the support we can give it! Mad props to the devs, for putting so much time into all the levels/bosses and planes, well, every freaking thing. The level of detail is AMAZING!! It's game makers like these that make us love the App Store. Thank you! The music is epic! We have to say tho, once you've finished the game and purchased all the upgrades the daily missions are kinda pointless. Can't buy anything with all the money/stars you earn, wish they'd add more planes, levels and content! Yes we'll pay for it!! How about German secret weapons, us-262, Horton flying wing, there's a ton you could add! Or give us Air Attack 3, where you can play as Germany and fight the Russians, sad to see such an amazing game like this and the potential this dev team has not make a sequel, prequel or keep adding new things to this game.
We remember playing the old version of the game, air attack hd. We loved that game! Yesterday, out of the blue we just remembered times of us playing it. We spent 4 hours trying to find the game. We found out Air Attack HD was removed and replaced with this one. Bummer! We decided to buy it and give it a try. Man, did we get nostalgic! We do miss the old soundtrack though. We only have 1 minor issue, though. The bombing mechanism (tap) is just a little wonky… When we let go of the screen and put our finger back, it drops a bomb. We suggest that you put it in the corner where you activate the power ups. And 1 suggestion, too. Please bring back AirAttack HD!! Some users also said this and we agree. But this game is great! We love how you know what the planes are called, unlike those cheap games that call the F4U Corsair something like Bending Wing, haha.
This game is so good it gives us nostalgia of the original Air attack we wish you could update to the most recent iOS version so we can play the original game.
…Developer, please add more levels..or…maybe bring back the original Air Attack.
Easily the best looking shoot em up Ive ever seen. Its also the most creative when it comes to level design and boss encounters. Even though its not updated for the newest phones resolution, it looks fantastic on our xs. Thank you for the hard work devs.
This game is so bloody amazing you need to praise the game dev for all the time and effort they put into this game. The only way for this game to be rated below 4 stars is if the player or writer is drunk or high. Please game devs make air attack 3 as fast as possible because we are dying for a new air attack.

Fantastic game, great graphics. Fun to play and replay. Two items of note: 1) an update would be nice, or Air Attack 3. Like a person said: cant buy anything more once you are maxed out. 2) the daily events just seemed to stop working. Not there anymore. Not sure if the company has closed its shutters or what, but we enjoyed playing the game daily (even though no way to spend money…see #1).
Would you update the game to work on iPhone XS Max? Its a great game an would mean so much if you could update the game.
We have played a lot of 1942/Strikers type games, but This one is one of the best!! We mean, WOW! Stunning Graphics, great music, and easy movement control. We also enjoy the fact that once purchased, there are no in app extra purchases. Its all there. The whole game. Now, you have to play to earn in game coins to upgrade your fighters, but to us, thats the fun in it. Very well made game. We will have this on our phone for a good long time.

If you like sky warfare, this low-priced game is classic and artistically incredible. Much like Skyforce, but better. Landscapes, structures and plane functionality are all first class.

Air Attack 2 is an amazing game, one of the best out there. But the only problem is that after a while it gets a little monotonous. Im begging you to please bring back the first Air Attack HD even if it has old graphics. We dont care, Id give anything to listen to the old soundtrack while playing the game. We cant wait for Air Attack 3 if you guys are planning it, but we highly recommend bringing back Air Attack HD. Thanks for reading.
We can not believe this game is only $0.99 and NO in app purchases. We completely binged played it for the last few days; in fact, we had to remind ourselves to go to sleep as we kept telling ourselves, Just one more level. Great job on the game. Make more please.
