Dive into AirFMC

Designed to integrate with the X-Plane flight simulator, AirFMC provides an interface layer to your favourite flight management system and allows you to have a remote, portable and beautiful MCDU, leaving your screen free for enjoying the scenic routes.

Flying with an FMC is good but have you ever thought how annoying it is to have to look for the small keys on a virtual cockpit and click on them with a mouse to get something done?

What if you could now do it wirelessly with your fingertips using an iPad’s big screen? And what if you could use just one App for all your favourite planes?

AirFMC does just this; brings the FMC of your favourite planes to the tip of your fingers.

In its current release we are proud to support the following list of planes and FMC systems:

  • The x737 Boeing 737-800 from EADT using x737FMC
  • The UFMC from Javier Cortes
  • The CRJ-200 from Javier Rollon
  • The Boeing 777 Worldliner by FlightFactor
  • The Boeing 757 Professional by FlightFactor
  • The X-FMC freeware project and all the planes in which it runs
  • The QPAC A320 v2
  • The Boeing 767 from VMAX
  • The A320NEO from JAR Design
  • The Boeing 737 Classifc from IXEG / X-Aviation
  • The Boeing 737-800 modified by Zibo
  • The Airbus A350 XWB Advanced from FlightFactor
  • The Airbus A319, A321 and A340 from ToLiss
  • The A330 from JAR Design
  • The MD80 from Rotate
  • The Boeing 737-700 and 737-900 Ultimate
  • The A320 from Flight Factor
  • The Hot Start CL650
  • And lastly the X-Plane airliner FMC shipped with default planes

Please note, AirFMC is not an FMC in its own right. It does not have "intelligence" so to say, it does not manage routes nor flight performance parameters. At least, not yet! What it does is, it connects to planes that already have these systems and provides an interface surface to them.

Please also note that AirFMC does not currently work with Microsoft FS2002, 2004, FSX or Prepar3D, but only with X-Plane.

AirFMC works in conjunction with a plugin which must be installed in the flight simulator and it requires a TCP/IP network connecting this app to a flight simulator.

We want refund we can use this app cuz really difficult…. Please refund.

This app works flawlessly with X Plane. Its the next best thing to having a real FMC for fight simmimg. Well worth $10!

The price for this App seemed fair so we picked it up. We are using it with X-Plane 11 and the B737 Zibo Mod and it works perfectly and fast. We thought there might be a big lag from the time you touch a key and the time it registers on the computer, but it is very fast. We are extremely pleased…. Thanks for this great App.

We were looking for a A320 MCDU trainer that we could simply practice accessing the menus and functions. You have to have a separate flight simulator (FMC?) for this app to work. Completely worthless without a simulator game. Heres what this app description should include: Warning: This is not a stand alone app. It must be used with other flight simulator software.

Airfmc changed the way of our virtual flying!

This app works just as advertised and does it excellently. It is compatible with the aircraft we use most. The price is so high that we only recommend this to hardercore simmers.

We use this app with X-plane 11 and it works perfectly with our Aircrafts. We use it with the Toliss Airbus A320Neo, A321, 319, A346, and the FlightFactor Boeing 767. Its make settings up our flight plan easier especially considering how large it is on our iPad. We havent had not one problem with it. It works flawlessly and like one of the other reviewers said its fast.

What can you say! We have been looking for a FMC like this forever. No more sore mouse fingers and frustration. Now if they can get fsx on board even better.

One of the headaches for the serious flight simmer using FMCs in X-Plane, is programming the various FMCs with the mouse. Takes forever and prone to lots of missteps. The AirFMC app relieves that pain, even making it fun. And being able to do that from a remote device adds to the convenience. It is beautifully designed and laid out, reminiscent of another favorite app of ours, his companion AirTrack app. The look and feel is no comparison to the clunky appearance of iFMS, an attempt at a full-fledged FMC, though flawed. We tried AirFMC with the native X-Plane FMC as well as the FMCs on our Ramazzess 777, Neo a320, and CRJ200all worked beautifully (now, if only AirTrack worked with those non-native FMCs as wellthat app would be perfect). Joao hints at an actual flight planning FMC that uses SIDS, STARS, and other route information to chart out a flight. Of course that would require a subscription to Navigraph, or similar, and a hefty piece of logic (the only FMC that does this accurately and consistently, either as an app or in X-Plane itself, is the Ramazzess 777 [haven’t flown their 757, but we assume it would be about the same]).

We have used Joao Cabrals AirTrack app for many months and it has always functioned perfectly. When we saw this AirFMC app we bought it immediately, and we are absolutely delighted with it! It works exactly as the description says and you can get a lot more information about it on the HAVERSINE. Net website. Extremely easy to use on the iPad, and the plugin installation is simple just follow the instructions on their website. We’ve made a couple of flights with the A320neo already, and it made our flights much more enjoyable. If you like to fly X-Plane you will love this new tool. We would give it more than 5 stars if we could.
