Description
The goal in this exciting and challenging solitaire variation is to build up, by suit, card piles from Ace to King and King to Ace. You play with two full card decks in this game, so to build the card piles, you will use a total of eight slots. These slots are located in a row at the top of the screen, and have a slightly faded appearance. Below these slots is the playing field, in which you can move the cards around and build up long strings of cards by suit, in both up and down directions. Empty columns in the playing area can be filled with any card.
At the bottom of the screen is a row of reserve piles. Click the “deal” button to add more cards to the reserve piles. The final deal of each game is dealt to the playing field instead of onto the reserve piles.
Cards can be moved to the build piles from either the playing area or the reserve area, and they can also be moved between the build piles and from the build piles to the playing area. In this version of solitaire, you can only move one card at a time. To put cards into the build piles, you can either double click or drag-and-drop. All other card movement is by drag-and-drop.

We enjoy this type of Solitaire. In our experience, this app is ‘OK’. It can’t be played in landscape mode, so cards are very small on handheld devices. Also, not much color contrast between background and card faces, with no option to change them. For these reasons, hurts eyes to play very long. No ads in the game, tho. We had one ‘freeze up’ in the game in over 30 game plays, which was acceptable given the fact that that was over a month span.
This app has glitches that do strange things. Sometimes it sends a card from the dealt cards to the placement area at the top. Sometimes a card just disappears! We have a screen shot showing that a card is missing!
We have the old version on our iPod, which we really like, but just downloaded the latest version on our new iPhone. The graphics are horrible! Our eyes hurt trying to read the cards. This update was more like a downgrade.
This app was updated without our permission to a slower version with practically unreadable cards. We have no option to change the deck. Plus they erased our stats. Boo. But we like flambeau valley’s version of the game so will likely put up with it.
Love the game but there are too many glitches. It will suddenly refuse to deal cards or will freeze a card so it can’t be played.
Are you ever going to fix this game to keep it from crashing? We love the game but it gets pretty frustrating when it locks up.
All games seem to be winnable once you get good but will still give you a challenge. Good time filler for waiting in line or at dentist, whatever, cause you can get right back to where you were after dropping out for a text or something. Hint: concentrate on revealing cards not on getting them put away.
We love the game but it doesn’t work on any of our devices since we upgraded.
Totally addicted but keeps crashing and we have to pay the dollar again to reinstall. This will be the last time we do that, it is too anniying.
We have Algerian Patience on our PC and this was such a disappointment…. The game is good, the graphics and button location are horrendous… We have it on our iPod & our iPad and the graphics on the iPad are doubly horrendous, it feels like a waste of our money….. Update the graphics and rearrange your buttons and we will give you 5 stars.
We loved this game and played it all the time… Until we updated our phone. Now it no longer works :(

A seemingly simple game, but with a deceptively complex and multi-layered strategy. Impressive animation and ease of movement add up to make this app a winner.
This game is soo much for and so adictive it deserve more poblisty it sould be in the top 25!

We would love to give this app 5 stars because when it works, it’s tons of fun. Unfortunately, it crashes often forcing us to delete and reinstall over and over again.
