Ancient Planet Tower Defense is a Casual/Strategy game from Dmitri Isaenkov, first launched in 8th May 2014.
It’s rated 9+ and currently has 1,180+ ratings on the App Store.
What Makes Ancient Planet Tower Defense Stand Out

Features:
- Classic Tower Defense (TD) for those who are fond of good old games;
- Building towers in any free area on the field;
- 40 unique levels;
- Plenty of diverse enemies with their own features;
- The game offers upgrading towers, as well as everything else. New improvements allow selecting exceptional strategies for each level. Even the base can be upgraded!
- Improvements can be reset and distributed at will, it is free and you get all your emeralds back;
- The storyline is based on recollections of the veterans of intergalactic wars;
- Our artist visited the ancient planet himself in order to recreate its image in the game;
- Character voices sound identical to real ones;
- The game was developed upon the order of the High Council of the Intelligent Civilizations of the Galaxy;
- There should have been one more feature here, but it failed censorship, so we replaced it with an advert: “Galactic energy drink “Improviser” with a rocket fuel extract will reduce fatigue and shorten your life by a couple of years. “Improviser” – for a vibrant and fast life!”

Offline games are not so common today, but we have wiped the hell out of our server and now you can play wherever you want as long as your battery is charged.

Ad-free games are also rare to come across nowadays, so what do you think we did?
That is right; we decided not to insert ads. There is absolutely no advertising at all, except for the Improviser, which we created ourselves.

Had this on an older tablet and looked for it so we could have it on our phone too. Being able to recombine the upgrades is great fun and the boards are all challenging in their own way. This might be our favorite tower defense game.

Its a great tower defense. Solid entry into that category. But the limited number of retries on a single map (unless you wait or pay money) in super annoying.
Always looking for a good TD. Miss the old school feel. This is a good one.
You have to pay. So lets get that out there. Were talking about like 2 to 5 bucks. You will get to a certain level where it just dumps healing bots and they walk through all your defense and into your base. It happens a lot. There isnt a combination or anything you can really do for free. However, if you spend 5 bucks. You can get enough diamonds to upgrade enough of your towers to hold everything back. We are at the point where they are walking through everything. Again. (And yes, everything us upgraded).

So far so good. Early levels are fun, we like tower defense games.

The only problem we have is that we finished the game.. We hope they come out with more worlds and levels please.
This game has had a lot or tower options and upgrades. It can be challenging learning which tower to use, but it is a fun tower game.

So far so good we just got started.
Im a hard one to impress. We want a game that is different or better. Dont get us wrong this game is good and fun to burn time. We just want more from a tower game.
Pretty fun game, but after a few levels it becomes impossible to advance without adding money. Fail.
This is a money pit, you cannot make progress without spending a lot of $. Even then, the game alg is all messed up and you will become very frustrsted.
Avoid at all costs. Broken, unfun gameplay. Survival mode is a complete mess, and borderline unplayable.
Inconsistent weapon versus opponent outcomes. Period.
Once you get to 7.1 the game becomes unbalanced. Fun until then however it dramatically ends in disappointment. This is a typical online game, only fools would cash here.
Money-grubber. Just charge for the game and be done with it.
This game is bug free and ad free. We enjoyed the storyline, graphics, and mechanics. We played the whole campaign and still enjoy replaying levels.

The difficulty rate jumps right up after the third world, probably to induce people to buy the emeralds, and theres no way to farm those replaying the unlocked levels, they release just a few emeralds. All and all, great entertaining game.
Decent enough, wished we could transfer our progress from our old android phone.
Fun for a bit, but the game needs all the gem upgrades to scrape through and even then the difficulty curve becomes a wall that you have to buy the gem boosters to 3 star a map. The developer needs to rebalance this game.

This game is fun and the learning curve is fast, easy and consistent. The graphics and music give you that classic 80s, 90s and early 2K vibes for anyone LONGING DESPERATELY FOR GAMES THAT MAKE YOU FORGET ABOUT THE WOKE NIGHTMARE WERE ALL CURRENTLY IN. Theres cheesy subtle humor in here too. Laughed by surprise during one of the loading screen messages. We just noticed this too – theres no freaking ads! Only thing we suggest is a minor issue where clicking on a resource node is perceived by a double click and zooms you in accidentally. Maybe consider longer matches and bigger maps. This game has a lot of potential and its already awesome. Ive tried 30 TD games and this one along with Last War are our favorites so far.
If you like tower defense games and want something to pick up and play while waiting on something or just need a break this is right up your alley.

Fun game but designed to make you buy gems. All about nickel and diming you these days. Very annoying. Now we uninstall.
This game is unreal! Ive not ever played a game that can get you more hooked. We cant stop.
We found this game when we were in middle school and we loved it but couldnt find it again and now we can play it on our phone.
The e game has good content and graphics has a story to it as well.
Anyone saying this game requires money obviously isnt too bright. This game is the best. It is 100% free and very fun. The ability to reallocate your upgrades is a key feature that should be used very often. The other key feature is being able to replay the previous areas even if you get the full 3 stars. It can take time to get the upgrades you need by going fully free, but it can be done with simple patience.
Strategic and challenging. Looks like its designed for a computer so the map and controls dont always align. Give a way to upgrade faster with daily rewards and Ill give 5 stars.
