A fun puzzle game for toddlers and kids from ages 1 to 6 featuring 26 cute cartoon animals such as cow, horse, goat, sheep, pig, dog, elephant, giraffe, monkey, lion, dolphin, owl, rhinoceros, zebra, parrot, tiger, turtle and more in 30 shape & tangram puzzles!
When a puzzle is completed children are rewarded with a variety of fun celebrations and interactions such as balloon popping.
The fun matching activities help improve visual perception, knowledge of shapes & develop fine motor skills by dragging and dropping puzzle pieces to match their holes. Perfect for preschoolers.

Besides the occasional shut down in the middle of a puzzle, this is a great app! Considering our son has half a brain, he can still do it. After he completes the puzzle he always says "we did it!" we love how he doesn't have to get the piece exact and it still places it. Thank you.
We feel like we've seen this app many many times in the past. Easy puzzle, identical brief interaction with applause, next puzzle. Nothing about this particular version stands out above the others or would encourage us to pay $1.99 for 18 additional puzzles. We could see charging $.99 right off the bat for all 23 puzzles but the current structure doesn't hold a lot of appeal to us as a mom who's in charge of the app purchasing.
The versatility of this app is great. The app is filled with immediate feedback. This app could be used when following directions, describing (expressive language), and matching. There is an in-app purchase to obtain the entirety of the puzzles, but for what the app offers, it is worth it! As a speech-language pathologist, the amount of communication that could be created with this app is incredible for young children. We recommend this app.
This app is absolutely adorable! The animal illustrations are cute and engaging, the puzzles are just right for our 3 year old to complete by himself, and there are plenty of different puzzles and puzzle types to choose from. When a puzzle is completed a group of balloons floats to the top and you can pop them – very entertaining.
This app is a good puzzle app with good graphics and music that is very appealing to our son. It offers enough puzzles to keep you entertains for a while before you have to buy more puzzles via in app purchase. If your kids like puzzle and farm animals we would give this app a try.
Our toddler is quite the puzzle genius and so we are happy to find puzzles that continue to challenge him. We like the this app offers different types of puzzles, multiple animals, different shapes etc. And we LOVE the sparkles that shoot out when you put the puzzle piece in the right spot. Nice sound effects too.

By jpeter713 Puzzle apps for preschoolers are plentiful. What's different about Puzzle Apps for Kids and Toddlers is it gives a child a bit more in the way of interactive fun. The animals spin, the windmill turns, and the stars sparkle. As a speech pathologist, we encourage parents to use apps like this with young children to talk about what the child is seeing and doing. It creates a parent-child dialogue that promotes language learning.
While the full version (with in-app purchase) offers a good number of puzzles, it isn't unique or robust enough to get excited about. It plays well with pleasing graphics and intuitive control but lacks extras such as animal names and sounds. This is the type of app that toddlers could just pick it up and play without parental guidance so the more it provides in term of interactive and teaching the better. Our twins have already played a dozen of similar and better puzzlers, so they were content and didn't ask for more beyond the 5 free puzzles and moved on to another game.
