NO freaking way! Ash of gods tactics is back??? YES!!! This is one of the best Tactical Turn based war and Deck Builder type games there is. The game was shut down years ago. So we have been playing ash of gods the way in place of it which is a fantastic game as well. Its just like This game. If you have played Banner saga or Any of the ash of gods titles, THIS is a must. The medieval Style Units and art is phenomenal. The different factions are each So well done. The cards and battle mechanics and Field /Board in which you fight is aesthetically pleasing. And the music is Mwahhh. 4 Stars. Two thumbs up. Perfect.
After the first boss we couldnt come close to beat anything so other words pay wall.
Bought 3 times, total of 600 strikes but got the same item.
For now a 3 star rating. Amazing art and design. Amazing gameplay and tactics. Our main complaint is that it is hard to level up the unit and equipment cards that you acquire. We spent about 30 dollars on the game and the return imo is not an worth the money spent. We have a few unit cards leveled to lvl 5 and the rest lvl 3-4. We fear that a long term community is not feasible with the current monetary model. Some more units or another faction would help if it was easier or cheaper to lvl up. Equipment cards are ludicrously expensive to level. It is fun though and the attention to detail and quality is immense. We want to play more but sometimes we just feel stuck unless we open our wallet some more. We understand that this is a delicate dance for the developers so we hope there will be tweaks in the upcoming releases. Will update our review in the upcoming weeks and we remain optimistic. UPDATE: The last patch brought some nice tweaks to the game. A new event with some much needed new content as well as some changes to rewards. So close to a 5 star game. Still a little pricy in our opinion but the game delivers gobs of quality and details. Lightning fast matches with tons of strategy. Hard to do with a turn based game. Kudos! Ok who am we kidding. 5 star game. We are loving it.
Why five stars if not working? 1) Because see their other two games – Ash of Gods: The Way, Ash of Gods: Redemption, here on iOS and check YouTube reviews to see, then youll see why we are giving them 5 stars on something clearly not working. This is a start up amazing studio we are not going to ruin their chances of getting successfully noticed over what maybe or may not be an oversight. (Giving them benefit of the doubt) we need more devs like this when you see their catalog that we are getting from them. 2) It cost you no money to to try it out. If it had cost money we would had given it 1 star and a verbal lashing to the devs. DEAR DEVS, Just tried downloading today, upon launching As progression bar fills up, the continuous pop up message appears: Cannot connect to server After progression bar fully fills up, nothing happens. Just wanted to make you guys aware. Its tough out here running a business, we understand but you may want to make people aware on your description if this is no longer available or just remove it TO NOT tarnish the image of those masterpieces you have out there for us already: 1: Ash of Gods: Redemption 2: Ash of Gods: The Way Have a wonderful holidays.
We are the big fan of the developer. We can feel there is a group of people who really love s-RPG game. The only flaw of the game is you dont need spend any money because the system is very fair and generous. But no worries, Ive bought every game in this series. Like ash of gods: redemption. And we have preorder the new game way (perhaps that is the name?) pls continue making great game, we will support you forever.

We would give wit 5 stars because the game is almost perfect. The issue we have is we are not sure the Devs still update this game Multiple times we have had the game freeze on us. We hope the game hasnt been put to the side. Besides this we like the game.

The game is decent, but repetitive and eventually you feel stuck if you dont pay to advance. You dont have to, but the grind takes forever. But there isnt anything new at higher levels, just tougher opponents but the gameplay is the exact same.
Whoever thought putting poison instant death on the third battle is a complete seriously? To get 3 stars is no characters must die but all your opponents have one shot auto kill not amused. This is poor planning or just bad coding. Inexcusable. Delete game after 3rd battle in. Learn to develop a game.
One of the most important aspects in this game is that when you play a card , it will not remain a card , it actually turns into a 3d form of the character. On the other hand its a well balanced game and we enjoyed playing, we hope they expand the game with more maps and maybe other races other than humans , maybe orcs , elfs and.
(AD FREE! This game is amazingly ad free (still has purchaseables) we were leery (proper English) but wins our vote. Amazing art, epic story (please read it, its actually pretty crazy) still here after 72 hours, and hoarding our fame. Well played. – Update: still love it, still fighting through as F2P after a few buys, definitely not pay to win. Dev notes. A couple load fails that seem to be fixed (thank you!). Personally Id up the Supply refresh rate (1…every 20 min? Even after a day at work we can only play 3 without chests resupplying our ability to play levels ..), at least for new players (maybe a missions under 8), keep us able to stay, both before and after whatever formula calculates staying power ;) For now, pay to win is at the top for pvp (obviously, and not a proper criticism unless the game is impossible without paying, or ads, which is not the case) and it subsidizes an amazing amount of FTP solo: If youre a turn based or Table Top, this game is for you. We actually found grinding fun, its the new Chess as far as strategy.
This game is amazing! We are so happy they came out with this! It is fun in everyway and the art is beautiful! We are greatful theirre companies making great games like this.
Ive been hooked on this game. You dont have to pay to be able to enjoy the game. Different races have very different play styles but it all seems balanced. Loving it so far and will be playing for a long while.
Wish there was a little more story and character development/lore development, but all around great game.
We just don't understand how so much work goes into a game only for there not to be a copy editor… Or even an online grammar check… Otherwise, it looks like Banner but with an overlay of all the annoying mobile aspects you'd expect (gem bundles, delayed chest openings, etc).
Drew us in for a little bit. Unfortunately rewards start to duplicate. When we got our third legendary duplicate of a certain character, it just made us stop playing. Legendary are best cards and you dont come across them as often. To get 3 of one card when your still missing so many is a punch to the gut. Game got a bit repetitive as well.
PvP is just a computer using a persons deck.
We really enjoy this game. The battle systems is well layout. You can definitely play it without spending money. As others had mentioned, multiple deck support would be awesome. Also have the ability to change your avatar as well, unless we overlooked. Great game.
Yeah deleting our reviews? Game is trash. Characters are unbalanced and some skills do not work.
Asset wise this game has a ton of polish. The art and animations are really enjoyable to look at and are really unique. We worry about the games longevity, solely due to how under the radar we feel it has been. But definitely worth downloading and playing for a few minutes if nothing else.
Amazing game Im just curious if there any sites with deck build guides, similar to Hearthpwn.
Never played banner saga but playing this game really makes us want to get it cause apparently this game was inspired from. So the game is really beautiful and straight forward which we like and every faction is really different and unique. Gameplay wise it wonderful and each character synergy really well. Nothing is pay to win only time we got an ad was our first week of play and nothing after that and honestly not really worth the cash unless you just dont want to grind. Only problem is that everything after a while starts to get repetitive and not sure if the devs are going to update with more contents.
As others have mentioned this is a good game. Good balance and interesting tactics. Some bugs though where buttons arent enabled correctly after wins and quests arent marked completed sometimes. Definitely needs support for multiple decks, would be 5 stars with this improvement. We do not experiment as much because we might not remember our current deck when we make changes.
