Ive had this for a while and was enjoying it. We like the graphics and the different game options, but we have encountered a bug that is making the game unplayable, so we will delete and look for a different backgammon app. We had a turn where two of our pieces were stuck in the middle bar, and we rolled numbers that we couldnt use because our opponents pieces were blocking the spaces. But instead of passing the turn to the opponent, the game just sat there waiting for us to make our move, which was impossible to make! Eternally stuck pieces! We will go look for a backgammon game which will wont end up with a stuck game.
App is ok for free, but has run time error that has never been fixed YET. It likes to randomly start rolling rapidly, taking it's own turn, but not giving you time to take your turn. It can skip all your turns in the blink of an eye.
The free version on here doesn't make sense. Both players pieces are in one complete line. We've never seen backgammon played like this and we've been playing backgammon for many many years. There's an option to buy….too weird.

Board is set up opposite of every other game we have tried. Pieces must be stopped on each move to send man to bar. Very slow graphics.
Easy and intuitive to play. Also graphics is fairly good.
Overall it's not bad. It does seem to roll the dice more fairly than a lot of backgammon games, but……..not always. The opening roll seems to go on until the computer player gets what they want for its opening move. We have played up to 20 games in a day and only got credit for about half. It gets confused sometimes if you remove all of your pieces on a set of doubles, but don't use all of the roll. It locks up now and then if you roll and can only move one piece. It works when it can only move once, but locks up every time it happens to us. After we won a lot of games it also started getting sets of large doubles towards the end to try to catch up. Sometimes it works. It's a good game to start with to get the basics down, but not the highest quality version, but at least it was free.
Please add an option to pick your preferred board rotation. This is just weird playing it backwards.
Traditionally the house is always closer to a player. In this version it is on the opposite side. Programmers seemingly have never seen backgammon in live :).
Not much of a game as there is only one version of this game and not the nicest one either.
We really like your version: the look and sounds, BUT BUGS ! ! ! The game duplicates turns; instead of 2 dice throwing only one, and makes us skip our turns. It also blocks some cells sometimes, and we're not able to make our turns right… Pease fix the game flaws and post an upgrade ASAP. Thanks. Lydia.
We love to play this app…..BUT bearing off is very user unfriendly…..the little drop spot on the right goes black after one drop and you have to wait a few seconds before you can bear off your second tile. We know it sounds trite, but we like to play a fast game……hoping someone will read this and address the issue.
Opponent doubles repeatedly during bearing off. Needs a new algorithm.
The backgammon game has the fewest features of any backgammon game we've played.
We're playing this game form a long while And we thing that is always missing on then iOS or Mac Is THE feeling of the playing board. Guys great work! It's almost like playing on a real high quality board.
This is the worst backgammon app we have ever used. So many glitches and bugs it is laughable. We have to wonder if the people who created this app even know how to play backgammon at all because it is so sparse and lacking in the basics.

We wish they would allow the screen to rotate both ways. We are deleting and installing a game that will.
Even though the interface looks good and user friendly, the code is poorly written. During games we played, our opponent (computer) kept getting "double six" every other throw. We got double "three" only once. Needless to say that computer kept winning all the time. When code is fixed, this game could e good.
This is beautiful we've nt played since the eighties , and just when we learn the game nobody want to play us.
Well, the play seemed fair, but the graphics are the worst. The board is backward with your home by your opponent and vise versa.
Nice app. However when it's losing it rolls a lot of doubles for itself.
The AI cheats by rolling lots of doubles and exactly what it needs to gain the advantage.
Really nice app! It does have some glitches in it but overall great app. Fun to play Nardi! We've been looking for a long time for a good app like that.

Brinksmanship back the old days without the old board.
A nice game but froze so we had to start over and lost our statistics. Same thing just happened. We wish there was a way to concede when you know you cannot possibly win.
Good enough game but the board seems upside down and doesn't work in both landscape orientations. It also have some glitches.
It gets a bit twitchy. Freezes occasionally and the like. Luckily these are the kinds of games where that is only mildly annoying.
Middlin game, no intelligence, no challenge. AI engine, if there is one, is weak.
A player made a mistake involving a hit, and the pieces were not restored correctly, remaining tangled and unpredictable for the rest of the game.
No choice on checker color, board layout, can't undo a partial move, no cube – work on this app more.
