For note, Backgammon Now's dice rolling algorithm. We use the Mersenne Twister algorithm to generate a lot of random values which we use to throw the dice with (a dice roll is based on many values), so it's only when the dice have rolled and landed that the game knows the outcome. It's as close to a real dice throw as possible!

Ive enjoyed playing backgammon on this app because its very easy to find what we need right away, ie, the doubling cube:).
If the dice number is not random, it may go faster but its not true backgammon. AI has unfair advantage.
We dont know how we can have the same amount in take off board and we still have 6 left and they have 3 left.
We liked this game quite a lot except for ads. Now, the game is stuck on an ad and Ive done everything we can figure out but bring it to where we bought it to see if they can help us. After two weeks of this ad being stuck, we may have to change games and start bowling (or something)! Any suggestions.
As you can tell, Ive played this game a lot. We finally got tired of it. We dont mind so much being stuck on the bar for multiple rolls while the game gets in on the first roll every time even if we have five points blocked. OK, that can happen. What we do not like is when the game should hit one of our pieces and doesnt! Why did it not hit us? A real player would have. Also the game makes stupid moves. We all know how to play an opening roll of 6-1. See any backgammon sources and they all agree. So why doesnt the game play it that way? Finally just lost patience with it.
Good but need to save the games longer than temporarily.
Theres some kind of algorithm to the dice rolls. It is anything but random. Out of four rolls in a row, snake eyes twice, double threes and double fours. The rolls either favor you every time or favor AI. No matter how you play, it seems to split the wins evenly. Please fix this.
Painfully slow. Why do we need to check each play. Just add an undo button. We want a game that moves quick and this is not it.
Biggest scam , they control the dice. Once you rate it they slam you and want you to buy.
Not a fair dice roll game. Dont bother.
The board looks too small on our iPad mini. It does not fill up the screen enough for our vision. Didnt play at all. Will have to delete this. It does not have a turn- based mode, which we were more interested in.
The computer cheats on almost every turn. There is no challenge when its determined that you will loose 98% of the time. Dont waste your time with this game Im sure you can find a better version. The developers of this one should be ashamed of themselves for putting this out there. What a pile of crap.
We put the game on hard difficulty and with a 4-2 opening roll it played 13/7. See ya.
