To the fella who mentioned the invention BJ rate which favors player…u r NOT considering your surrenders against the Dealers Ace card and FCs or 10s. That is where the difference comes in. ;) love the app. Its as educational as u get. It got us started and now Im a real true professional BJ player. This app is literally a major factor to us becoming a PBJP. We played over 100k hands and got our counting locked down along with our betting factor in respect to the Count. On a side note, when the count is -10 and There are 2 decks left, it shouldnt be hAving us DD on certain cards.
This is an excellent app for teaching Blackjack using the standard tables for playing the cards. Practice with this and you wont embarrass yourself at a real Blackjack table.
We’ve seen the other reviews questioning whether the shoe is accurate in its probabilities, and we kind of wonder that myself from time to time. That doesnt change the fact that this is an excellent application for practicing and honing strategies to bring to real tables. Just remember that your luck in this app doesnt necessarily equal how youll do in real life.
Great fun and cheaper than the casino.
Pretty good for practicing whatever your favorite strategies are, including money management, betting progressions, etc. We understand that it is run by algorithms. The problem is that if you fall into the habit of trying to beat the algorithm, you are then playing bad blackjack. All in all, fun and good practice, ( if you are disciplined) and, hey, its free.
Do NOT launch this app if youve recently copied a password! This app steals clipboard contents for absolutely no reason. Theres literally NOWHERE in this app that you can even paste anything! Visible in iOS 14.
We originally paid for this app to get rid o the commercials. Annoying! Also after we decline what is advertised the sound on the app is disabled. We have to code the app and restart it if we want the sound before we finish one shut we get another add and no sound.
We once enjoyed this app. We paid the $$ for no adds and after the last update ads ads ads. Id give it 4 stars if it wasnt for the fact Im not getting what we paid for.
Silly engine. It doesn’t let you win. We used to love this app but looks like they have changed the engine so it is not nutral anynore When bet is small you win but when it’s a big money CPU is the winner.
Chip reload takes days. How do you play, when you cant with no chips. Waste of time!
This last update took all the fun and freebies away! Too bad!
We used to enjoy playing this app until the latest update which now has ads on the screen at all times. The other problem with this game is its too easy to win money playing blackjack. We’ve played blackjack in the casinos with the same strategy that we use here and we dont win nearly as much money or as often as we do in the app. Dont let it give you a false sense of confidence that you can stroll into a casino and walk out a winner. Time to move on and find a better Blackjack app.
We really love the blackjack app. We hate the ads. We would prefer to pay for it than have those awful games come up.
Although. We question the randomness of the cards, it is still one of the better blackjack games available.
With over 10,000 hands under our belt, it’s clear something is off. We’re getting blackjacks about as often as expected, 4.5% of the time. On the other hand, dealer gets blackjack 3.6% of the time. Overall, it’s clear there’s a players edge. Sure it’s fun to earn $270 million, so no real complaints. Just want to ruin it for everyone else.
We enjoy playing because we used to play with our dad. He taught us how. He always beat us but it was the fun of playing. We don’t care about how many times we win. It’s just knowing that our dad taught us and we think of him when we play!

… Or is this game fixed one way or the other, or spitting out random cards or something that isn’t right? It just doesn’t play like regular blackjack. The cards never feel natural like they do in the casino, or in other apps for that matter…
Game play is nice but in game purchases take days to load or not at all. Have to send note to get upgrades for betting to load.
We’ve played over 10,000 hands on this game. Once we got to $500,000 in winnings, the dealer starts consistently getting 19, 20, 21, From 14 and sixteen! While we keep getting dealt 13 and 14 and consistently bust, while the dealer gets perfect numbers. It was fun at first, but we have to say, we’re not stupid. The cards are being manipulated. Dah…
Using the latest build of iOS on a X, the only way to cease gameplay is to restart the phone.
We payed for ad free ( it even shows up as checked in their store) but with latest release we get ads Sure would like that 3.99 back if we keep getting them.
We played for months. Won $20MM. Then there was an app "update". After the update dealer got blackjack twice as much as we did. Consistently drew to 20 and 21. Had 3 hands in a row where we had 20 and dealer drew to 21. We played by the book and now we’re down to less than $900k. Don’t bother with this one. There has to be a game which consistently represents vegas odds. This isn’t it.
The dealer wins all the time, boring, annoying.
We updated to this version at the suggestion of the app. Now we can’t play blackjack without having tons of ads shoved at us, despite, we believe though we are not certain, of paying to have ads removed in a previous version. Great app w/o the ads. Update – it is amazing how this app can outdraw you by one I.e. You have 19, app draws to 20. Cards are not random. We guess good for training purposes, but not much else.
We’re up to about 100,000 hands played over several years. This game started out as a nice, clean, simple blackjack trainer, then became an unplayable ad spam machine, back to a functional game, and then back to a spambot again. FFS guys, make up your minds!
This blackjack game is the same as all the others. IT CHEATS!!!!! As long as you bet small, the game plays fair. Try and bet big and the game just flat out cheats!! Some will say we’re a sore loser, but we have been to Vegas and played enough online Blackjack to know when we’re being screwed!! When you lose 18 in a row, you know you"re being f**ked!!! If you play this game, expect to lose a lot in row!! They need to fix it. Overall, the game is just ok!! No one wants to played this game, if you"re just going to lose!! That is NOT FUN!! It has a chance to be great. We will see if they listen.
Great game for when we’re bored and keeps our skills polished!
We’ve been playing this game for over two years off and on. It’s a great game for practicing basic strategy. Wish it had the option to play more than one hand and an indicator that the hand you just played followed basic strategy. One can learn a lot about the discipline it takes to be a good blackjack player with this app.
So correct us if we’re wrong…. If the dealer face up card is 16 and lower you stay according to the basic strategy well 9 times out of 10 the program will win. Because it’s a miracle but it will play up to 5 cards of small numbers to get to 17-21!!!! We had to presume that instead of figuring that the bottom dealer card is a 10 number card, we had to figure we have to beat 20 or else 9 out of 10 times no matter what we did it would beat us. We have 20 and wow it gets 21!!!! We understand it’s a free game so we just letting you know. It’s a stinker.
This game is bs. We’ve played BJ thousands of time in Vegas and have never seen such unrealistic odds in favor of the dealer. You will almost always bust on anything over 11 while the dealer will get 2,3 or more cards and not bust. As we said, BS. The owner of this app is a ego maniac. Don’t bother with this game.
This game isn’t typical. The dealer gets more 4,5,6,7 card draws to either beat your hand or reach 21.
We’ve had this game for awhile, and we’re not sure when but the odds dramatically changed… If you get high, most likely you will lose… It wasn’t always this way, but somehow it’s that way now… We noticed a big difference because we haven’t played it in a while, but had it installed on our phone… We got up to $100k+ just betting for fun, but now you bet even $1000 and you lose every time… Hopefully they fix the odds we’ve played in Vegas, gambling boats, and even online and our odds were never like this… Lost almost 20+ in a row that’s highly unlikely! Possible! But unlikely… We came to rate this as soon as we lost our 20th hand in a row! Nonsense!
Bottom line: Played them all. This is the best. Gameplay, graphics, smooth, responsive, quick to start, easy to read and understand, lots of options, etc. The only thing that would make it better would be to add multi-hand option! A feature we would gladly pay for!
One of the better blackjack apps for sure.
Fraudulent Game ! One should have the ability to rate a game as "fraudulent" because this game belongs in that category. Based upon our use of statistical software, the cards are NOT dealt in a random fashion. The cards are dealt in a manipulated fashion in order for Avalinx to achieve its hidden objectives. If you play enough hands, you will notice card patterns that should not occur if the cards are dealt in a normal random fashion. Avalinx is a dishonest company and you should avoid all of their products. It is down-right despicable that Avalinx chose deceit in providing the universally liked and enjoyed game of Blackjack to unsuspecting Blackjack lovers.
This app used to be ok but we still don’t think the algorithm is truly random. That being said it was still entertaining and the adds were present but not annoying. Now they pop up full screen suddenly as you’re about to hit the bet again button causing you instead to click on an add and get redirected to the App Store. We’re deleting and finding a different one. If you’re looking for a blackjack app, I’d encourage you to skip this one and keep searching.
We used to love this game, but now it interrupts play with ads that cover almost all of the screen. If you tap anywhere you are automatically taken to App Store. When you return to the game the sound is gone. You have to exit the game and go back in to get the sound back. If the ad nonsense wasn’t there we would give the game 5 stars.
Paid for this App a while back. This latest version has popup ads. This awesome app has now become a piece of electronic garbage! Way to take a 5 star simple game and F it up.
Awesome app… Purchased a while ago with no problems. Latest update started sending us ads and will take us to App Store without touching any ads buttons. Contacted support and they said we need to purchase it and the ads will go away. We had already purchased before we contacted support. Emailed them twice since but NO resolution!!
Used to be fantastic practice, you could set your own rule sets, bet limits, etc. Still good game play but there’s ads that pop up in your face after almost every hand that are designed to make you have to click them accidentally. If this wasn’t there we would have rated this app with 5 stars.
This used to be the best black jack app on iOS. If they fix their bugs and turn off the ads we would consider revising our review. We paid so fix your bugs and turn off the ads!!! Very disappointed.
The latest "update" includes pop-up adds that interfere with the game.
Ridiculous how often these game apps. Pop up and ruin the black jack game! We really like it, but these pop-ups kill it! They gotta GOOOO!!!
