W game, would download again, but the game could make character prototypes obtainable (not just the evotypes) through hard quests or rare drops from the mind training runs.
Only reason you have to buy characters to progress is because this is a port to mobile from Pc, having to buy the actual game for like 15-20 bucks, so youre still getting a good deal by playing it here. Ive had an insane amount of fun playing this game and id recommend it to anyone that knows about blazblue. You get to hit insane combos and while it is difficult to learn, you can modify the mode to your own difficulty and climb your way up. 10/5 would try again.
For a free game, you get a lot of content. The problem is you need to pay to get characters. Many of the achievements and much of the progression is based on having multiple BlazBlue characters and DLC characters dont count. The game is so fun, we paid for all the characters. That was a $25 commitment. We think this game should have been $15-20. Im sure the current model was more fruitful and lead more people the game. Its unfortunate this model costs more than getting the same game on PlayStation 5.

We rarely if ever leave reviews on games but honestly this game is gas im surprised it does have more downloads its fr a hidden gem.
Wow, we absolutely love this game. To get a flawless mobile port and controller support for free is unheard of in this day and age of being nickel and dimed for every gaming experience. New characters, seamless experience, and flawless port. Please support these devs, the cost of characters is a steal for what you get for free.
We are Really loving this game we love all the skill combos we can make with the characters and how different their gameplay could be depending on what skills you pick.
We hit the mind upload 3 quest, and we cant accomplish it. No matter what we do, or if we use other prototypes to get to the battle point requirement, it doesnt work. We have multiple at the required battle points but we still only have 1/2. We do enjoy the game and its fun, but if we cant progress through the story, we dont have much of a reason to keep playing a game that doesnt allow us to have access to all content. All responsible from a bug.

Amazing game with an interesting twist like Rogue Legacy where you can inherit skills from prior runs. We have an request for when using a ps5 controller: removing the on screen controls also removes the ability to see when our Legacy abilities are off cooldown. Please implement a way to see this. Thanks.
This game is great, everything about it is so fun! But we hope you guys could add endless wave mode where you keep fighting enemies and every wave gets harder and you gain more skills every 3-5 waves.
The best move sets and visuals, tons of fun and at the same time quite simple story line, good enough to enjoy. The game has learning curve which based rather on personal skill than character development. You pay for unlocking new characters but beside this came is completely free without annoying ads. Much better to play with gamepad.
So far pretty awesome, runs smooth, skillful game with fast hack and slashing. Cool powers, just wish you could get characters easy.

Yall see the name of this review? Ive played skullgirls mobile for almost 10 years now and to say this game, that ive only had for a week, replaces SGM?? Okay listen, the story is middling but tbh its not based off character development its a base storyline to explain the game, thats the middling part. The Gas, the Hype, the reason it replaces SGM is the combat, replay ability, and casual or difficult gameplay that diverses with character options. Not only can we play the same character as our duo, we can pick skills to play starkly different until unlocking everything. Love, Love, Love the effort behind this! Entropy effect is so good, please give it a try and recommendation.
Leagues above all else. Blazblue being a fighting game and making a sidescroller roguelite is what gaming needs. What an amazing port as well, super fluid and responsive controls. It would be cool to have like a pvp mode in this arena style.
Exciting combat, tons of bosses, and a growing character roster. This absolutely lives up to the BlazBlue name, 91Act put their heart and soul into this game and it shows! We keep coming back to this game because it scratches a very particular 2D sidescroller itch. No other mobile offering currently comes close to this game in terms of combat, depth, or character roster.
Great game! The combat is fun and in depth. Graphics look amazing and it runs smooth. Its free so the additional characters cost money which isnt a big deal since the game is so good but we wish they all cost 1 instead of some being 2 for no reason we can see. Hopefully we get some additional content with more levels and bosses in the future. If so, Ill be playing for a long time and will buy all characters. 4.5/5. Half a point taken off for IAP inconsistency.
Ive been playing this on pc and it is an absolute blast, the mobile version feels very different but its a great game.
Movement and combos feel so good. We love having this on our phone to play with controller when we're not at home. Very feature rich. Roguelite that should be in your library if you like metrovania style games.
Really excellent in every aspect. Only get one character for free (we guess technically two with the icey crossover), but it is very strong. So far no paywalls and lots of fun still after multiple hours of gameplay. Be prepared for a challenge.
This is probably the best 2D Action ultra high quality game we have ever played. We're surprised this game is free cause this game looks very expensive to make.

THE GAME IS ABSOLUTELY AWESOME. Ive been playing for 3 days now nostop since the download. Only problem is you cant move past a mission untill you buy a character other then icey( which u still need to buy a character to unlock the mission)which we understand but atleast add a couple free characters or make a way to unlock another one. Other that amazing game we love it best rpg ive played inna while.
Im at the mind upload 3 its telling us to unlock another character and turn it into IO but we have no idea how to get another character without purchasing??? We love this game and really wanna progress please help us out.

Genuinely such a phenomenal mobile import. Probably the best one we've seen in a very long time. The singular problem we have with the game is that if you want to play a different character you simply can't. You have no pay money no matter what. Even if you tried to reset your progress via account data deletion the game essentially terminates that account from being able to access Blazblue EE. We tried this recently and because apple login is the only way to play the game, we can't log into another account to even access the game anymore. It's as if we've been permanently banned from the game just for resetting our progress. If that was truly an account deletion we believe they should just say that explicitly. When we thought it was just going to wipe our progress it just denies that account from accessing the game. Otherwise we would've just sucked it up and continued to play one character.
Im having a great time with the gameplay and the story but the only issue which is a major issue is that youre forced to buy characters in order to even progress through the story. Huge turn off when we have to pull out our wallet out in order to progress. The quest basically become buy a character then come back and speak with us.
We like the game but was only able to play for one day now it says abnormal server connection and we have redownloaded and restarted our internet but the game says the same thing, how can we fix this.
This is a good game for sure but the thing is you wont able to enjoy the full content without paying because of the main mission require a certain number of character so yeah, good luck.
Took over 20 minutes on the harder difficulty so many levels to go through, we wish levels were shorter but with harder difficulty. Pros of the game its not a GACHA but you still have to pay money for more than one character it gets stale fast and no in game currency at all. Combat is smooth and fast but too much for touch good thing it has controller support.
Great game with super fun gameplay and smooth controls. Its up there with dead cells. But we cant play it whenever we want. Its mostly single player so why hamper the experience.
Why can you make an account with google or other things.
Ive played Blazblue: EE on PC for hundreds of hours, and we have been eagerly awaiting this port. Im very happy to say that it does not disappoint! The gameplay feels smooth and well-adapted to touch controls, and it has gamepad support. As for the game itself, its as good as its always been. This is the flashiest roguelite with some of the most in-depth combos and character mechanics out of anything currently on the market. The build creation is in-depth, and the bosses are both visually and mechanically very fun to play. One thing we were worried about was the pricing strategy. However, we are happy to say that unlocking all of the characters is actually less expensive than the PC version! They did not lock any unnecessary content (such as skins) behind a paywall. Having access to one character and the rest of the game for free is great, and so is the pricing of unlocking the rest of the cast. All in all, this is an easy recommendation for any Roguelite enjoyers! If youve played Dead Cells, Astral Ascent, or similar games we highly recommend BB:EE.
Preemptively rating 5 stars because we play this a lot and really enjoy it on PC. If this is legitimately the exact same game, you guys are in for a treat! Will be trying it on mobile soon.
