We’ve played this game for a long time. Recently we’ve had annoying and deceptive pop ups coming up DURING the game! They are prompted randomly with out touching any ad spots. This redirects the browser to an Amazon prize . Totally unacceptable! We deleted the game!!
The screen got smaller and its not as fun as it used to be. It gives you puzzles that cant even be used! Have to go through several looses before it even gives you pieces that can be used.
We have loved this game for a long time. The ads were annoying but tolerable. Now numerous times during the room decorating challenge we are getting an incessant amount of redirects to a page that resembles Amazon with a survey invitation to win an iPad. If this does not change we will have to delete the app because now it just frustrates us. Please fix this because it is a scam based on our research.
Im not sure what happened but now the whole playing area seems to be much smaller than before. We feel like Im going blind or something. Please fix it so its the size it was before. There is soo plenty of room on the screen. We dont need more brown edging we need to be able to see the actual game.
FIND ANOTHER SIMILAR GAME!! We dont mind paying a reasonable amount for the games we like, in order to support the developers. We dont even mind watching a few non-repetitive ads while deciding if we want to buy it. In recent years, we’ve considered paying the fee to play without ads to be paying the developers for the game. This company, Athena Studio?, has taken it to a whole new level and wants you to subscribe for the privilege of playing their game without interruption on a monthly basis. The amount they want to charge annually, forever, is more than most Steam games. That is totally crazy, right? Guess what. It gets so much worse. The ads on Woody 99 were getting so frequent. They stop you right in the middle of a puzzle to take a break and watch more ads. Ads crash the game. Ads will not budge until you interact with it in some way. Our thought was, Ill pay for one month of no ads for Woody 99, then delete the game and find a similar one we like and purchase no ads without a subscription. So with that in mind, we subscribed for one month. Within 24 hours of us doing that, Athena deleted all our progress (annoying, but we dont really care) and changed their events so that even if youve subscribed to their no ad feature you are prevented from playing more than five event puzzles in a row, without, you guessed it, watching ads. Not the quick little hit the [close] button ones or the [skip ahead>>] ones. Im talking those ads that take 30 seconds and theres nothing you can do. We’ve seen some other games where you can get a boost or some other advantage for watching ads after paying for no ads, which is so dirty, but somehow less offensive than this. Its insane that this company actually changed events to stop you from playing, in order to get ad revenue out of people already paying them a ridiculous amount of money not to watch them. We swear this cycle of buying ads to get people to download games to watch ads to get ad revenue and get people to download more games and see more ads should be a case study for a failure of capitalism. We see ads playing this game for games we already have, every couple minutes, over and over and over, the whole time we play. Something has gone wrong here. Its inefficient. We think were all frogs who have sat in hot water too long. We cant see how weird this has become. In any case, what Athena Studio is doing is extremely unethical (and just so scummy). Use this opportunity to break out of this little cycle at least and delete this game.
Love playing this game however we have to delete the app now because this fake Amazon site constantly pops up whenever the app is opened.
We tried several times to purchase coins and each purchase went through but we did not get any coins. Very upset we wasted money.
This is typically our go-to game. We play daily and have for years. Well recently, within the last month, we’ve made purchases for more coins and although the purchase was successful we dont receive the coins! They show the amount of coins Im supposed to get as a negative therefore keeping us at the same amount we had before the purchase. What the heck is going on? We will be reporting this scam but you guys should really fix this on your end.
