Very easy to use. Only have had it for a couple of days and already feel like we’ve been using it tor a while. Our only complaint is that we wish when we search for a game it would artfully a few choices. Other than that its great.

Great app. Been using for a while. One problem we’ve noticed recently is we can no longer save games to our collection or to our wishlist. We see the link issue was corrected but this needs attention too. Thanks!

We wish you could edit a play after completing. Often, our logged plays do not show up, causing us to log again and then theyll show up an hour later.

DEVELOPER, PLEASE READ: Love, love, love this app. However, when shopping for games our fianc and we have to know the best player counts for games since we mostly play with 2 but do have occasional game nights (so we need the game to be recommended with 2 and up). This app does show the best at number, but you cant see anymore detail past that. So if a game is best at 3, you cant see if its also recommended at 2, for example. This makes it so that we have to keep opening up the BGG website to look at those stats. If this is a easy addition that can be made to this app, we think it would be VERY welcomed.

We have been using this app for over 3 years now and it is by far the best for tracking your collections with BGG. We use it daily to update and track our purchases and inventory. It is really helpful for inventory concerns if you are the type of person that collects not only the large packaged titles that are available to the masses but also all the promos and small things that make keeping things tidy easier and to prevent buying something you already own. Over the course of us using this app we have come to want a couple other features. One would be the ability to pull the data for board game accessories that are not considered games or expansions. The other would be a cloud sync options that we can sync between our devices so we have access to our custom lists we have created within the app. Also if you are an rpg player it would be cool if you took this same concept and applied it to the RPG Geek side so people could track plays, books, accessories etc just like in board game bible. We absolutely love this app and will continue to use it for all our Board game database tracking needs. Keep up the hard work. Thank you for you skills and passion to give this app life.

This app seems to have minimal effort ,If any, put into it. You can log your plays but it will mess the stats up, your number of plays up, or just show how many plays you have with no stats. We spend time logging plays only to look at them later and realize its either erased the data or messed it up. It counts games in your collection randomly as expansions which are base games. If you ever want to edit a Game you just logged because you accidentally put something in wrong it wont let you (not that itll save the data properly long term anyway). This app has so much potential but is a mess. The developers clearly put no time or effort into making this app more than something that shows your collection and it doesnt even do that well. Hopefully they will fix these issues but they seem pretty hands off so we wouldnt hold our breath.

Best app ever still waiting on android version John.

For example, it will consistently say we have no plays of a game, even though we do. You also can’t edit plays if you mess up (which we’ve done a lot). It’s pretty barebones, but works fine for the most part.

Great app to browse games and links to things available in bbg. Unfortunately, Im unable to log in because we need special characters for our password and the app doesnt accept most of them.

The interface is great but unfortunately none of the stats and top rankings are up to date. You need to refresh every games page to see the latest scores/reviews.

This App is just a basic reference to the BGG website account and can not be used as individual App. To make any modifications to your references you must link it to (or create if you dont already have) your BGG account online. You have to populate and update your lists through the website. There is no ability to create a reference to a board game that you just played with your friends, or at a convention or a game you browsed at a store. A quick easy scan to want to buy or have played list is not available, rendering this app useless for any convenient use. It also does not add anything to the BGG site that you already using (or will have to use) without the app.

Is like having a pocket Edition of the bgg website.

We love this app and use it to keep track of our game collection. It is also makes it easy to find the best games when playing with a particular number of players. Keep up the great work! Wish list of future features: 1)Auto update current BGG stats (rank, ratings, number of user ratings, etc) for all games in collection when syncing (have to update per game now) 2)add Filter by game mechanic and designer.

We love the rating information , Pictures, videos and expansion lists. However when typing in the search bar for a game, it would be helpful to have some auto fill options. A slight misspell will leave you thinking there is no such game. Yielding no results.

We use this app for recording game scores all the time. So much easier than going to the BGG site on our phone. But, it would be nice if we could also rate games and write reviews from the app. One bug that we took 1 star off for is that if you accidentally add a players name twice or it imported the name twice from BGG, you are stuck with 2 Jonathans or 2 Davids forever. There is no way to delete the duplicate name from your players list.

Even though its one of the few game board apps, its still fairly decent. However, we can almost never find a game that we search for. The search function is broken completely. Please fix.

Just installed but not able to sign in.

This actually may be better than the board game geek app. Like how it includes links to files, player aids, of games. Love how it links Youtube videos. Our only gripe and Im not sure of this app can do it because we dont think any of the other apps do it either. But it will be nice if you launch a YouTube video within app you are able to use the advance and rewind features of the dedicated YouTube app. Or launch the dictated Youtube app from this app. A small gray/complaint/request. Great job so far.

This is a great app. Its our go to app. The only reason we give it a 4 star review is the randomizing button only works on the lists you create. We want to randomly pick a game to play from our entire library but cant. If that were fixed we would and will change our rating to a 5 star review. Still a great app! Must buy!

Great way to track games and plays. Was looking for something that integrated with BGG. One star removed for a couple small issues (and clarity) * Password field for BGG doesnt support all characters BGG allows in its password. Literally couldnt type the characters so had to change our BGG password to use sync. * Unclear that Add To Collection included other options than adding to games you own until actually clicked. We were initially browsing app before we discovered password issue and adding stuff to a manually created wishlist instead of using built in wishlist as we thought add to would only add to our collection. * Speaking of that manually built list…. Unclear if there is anyway to delete a list you arent using anymore.

Was working well. When we synced it with BGG not too long ago, though, it reset our play logs in the app. Reliability is key here; zero stars for that, the two are for other functionality.

Lost, blogs, videos, etc. Though these are daily updates on BGG, here, they haven’t been changed in over a year.

We like this app a lot but there are a few key features that we really think are missing. First of all we cant seem to find any way to rate games in our collection. You can see our BGG rating but there doesnt seem to be a way to add or change one within the app. Secondly and most importantly to us, in other apps there is a way to look at the player count rating in detail. Seeing bars representing the recommend and best player counts for the game. Just seeing the single best number is not as helpful as you might think. Some games are rated to be best with two, even though they are also considered to be really great with five or six. Like Letters from Whitechapel for example. They came please best with two, its almost as good at three, but its also great with six because each player gets to control one pawn. We use that information every single day when we are choosing which games to bring to a game night. How many players we have is the single most important deciding factor.

We usually dont write reviews but this app is spectacular and deserves praise. Its very well made and easy to use. If you love BoardGames this is the app for you.

Every time we open this app we get a text error for unacceptable content type. We can’t do anything without this error stopping us.

Loads better than the BoardgameGeek app.

We love the app. We use BGG religiously so the app is super helpful. All issues have been fixed. We can use the app again!

We’ve switched from an Android app and we’re missing being able to edit or delete plays. When logging multiple different games with the same people you must enter their names each time. Also, when entering names there is no auto complete and it doesn’t remember who we am. So we must enter our own name each time. Otherwise great to use.

This app is frustrating to no end. We get many error messages and false search results (i.e. They claim the game cant be found), and inaccurate board game prices and bad links.

We love this. The only thing is we can’t like reviews from the app.

For the past week, every time we open the app, we get an error about unacceptable content types. Whats going on?

We use this app daily. Since the update the own button doesn’t work though.

Id been trying to find an app to track plays when we came across mention of this app on a Top 5 list. Its so great! Not only can we record plays and keep track of our collection, its all synced with our BGG account to boot! If we had to try and find any issue at all, itd be that we wish it somehow formatted the BGG forums for mobile, but again… Thats a wish more than a dig at the app. 4.75 Stars.

Love the interface and setup, but we cant seem to get the app to save games to our wishlist properly. Otherwise, browsing games is much easier for us than bgg on our mobile browser, and logging plays is useful, too.

Now that the refresh issue has been fixed, the app is much more usable. Keep up the good work!

This is a great app and an essential for anyone who wants board game geek as an app. We use this all the time to look up games quickly, log our plays, and update our collection. It isnt perfect however. There are some minor things we hope they add soon. We would like to see an option for updating our rating for a game, as well as the other stats, including difficulty, time, best with x amount of players, and what not. Currently we need to physically go on the BGG to update these things, and it would be great to be able to do this on the app…. Hopefully there are plans to add that. Overall, great app to meet your BGG needs.

We love the app; it works so well and has everything we want in a board game tracker. Only thing bugging us is that the logo has a mislabeled dice: the 3 and 4 pip sides should be opposite each other (die convention is to have opposite sides sum to 7).

Really good app for looking into information about BGG. The only thing we would say is that we wish if everything could be there. Like the geekmarket and all the forums. If they are, it’s not a place that’s easily accessible. Great app overall!

This is a fantastic and aesthetically pleasing way to browse BGG. We can’t believe this is free and doesn’t have any advertisements. Thank you for a wonderful app!

To be honest, this is the best tool we have found short of using the BGG website directly. The good things: 1: love the format – the way everything looks is awesome. We like how easy it is to access the things that you can access. 2: we love the layout of the favorites section, especially the customizable list option and how easy it is to use. 3: we love how easy it is to find other multimedia like podcasts, videos, etc. We would have given it 5 stars except for a few details. 1: the review nag happened every time we loaded it. We almost deleted the app for this reason alone. We wanted to review it, but when we had time. We didn’t need to be asked each time we loaded the app. We know, this could be an Apple thing. 2: The video functionality is limited. No jump forward/back and no speed setting. We like to play videos in 1 1/2 speed. 3: no user or trade interaction within the software. 4: we should be able to add things to the Want to buy and want in trade lists.

A great way to keep track of the latest games that people are playing. Makes searching boardgamegeek for basic information much easier.

… Then this is a must! Beautifully designed. Has access to Top XX lists from various years, links to video and text reviews and tons of info to help you discover great new games. However we wish the link to the BGG site were better. It is only a 1 way link that "imports" our games from the site. It’s not a permanent link that allows us change our games on the BGG site. Great otherwise!

Love the app. Good consolidated info at your fingertips.

We have an ever growing collection of games that needed to be kept track of. This app does a good and simple job of doing just that. Always room for improvements. The ability to sync with BGG is great. We’re looking forward to where this app can go.

First of all, a huge thank you to the developer for the time and effort put into making the app. We know it’s a labor of love, so we hope our criticism doesn’t come across as whining or a sense of entitlement… That is not our intention. We have owned all of the apps that use BGG as its base (?) and this one is certainly the prettiest. (And, as far as we can tell, the only one still being supported). We have no clue why — but with this app it seems that only a select few of the titles stay in-app when trying to read the forums for any particular game. We would say that maybe 1 out of 10 of the games we browse, and try to read the forums for stay in the app… The others open up the forums page on BGG. So, while we can still kind of access the info we are looking for, it is usually very frustrating to navigate the forums by the browser on this app on our phone. So much so that we find myself using the outdated, no-longer-supported and older apps more frequently than this one. We are only writing this with the hopes that this issue may be resolved. We don’t know why this issue happens, or why it doesn’t happen with ALL of the games (just most), but that is the one thing that keeps us from using it on a daily basis. We have waited this long to write about this issue because we kept wondering if we were doing something wrong, or if the next update would resolve this issue. But it has been a very long time and this issue persists. This is certainly the best app out there for quickly browsing the current BGG hotness lists and Top games, or even our own collection — but if you like to dive into forums for rules clarifications, reviews, etc. We would recommend browsing the BGG site directly through a web browsing app on your phone, rather than using this app as a resource. We will revise this review and give this app a well-deserved full 5 stars if/when this issue is resolved. And, again, thank you to the developer for giving us the most attractive app of this kind at this moment! It really is very nicely designed.

Pictures are one of the worst things to navigate on BGG. So glad you can finally scroll in this app. Love the improvements.

Love BGG and this app streamlines it for quick lookups, etc.

This app is wonderful and so feature-rich. A gaming-geek wonderland. The only issue is that the Top Ranked games list is not correct vis-a-vis the actual BGG website. (The first four games are accurate but then it goes a little haywire). Nevertheless, awesome.
