The makers of boggle should add different sized boards with more letters and more time on the larger boards.
We’ve followed all the fixes but Boggle still wont work. Tournament wont work on either platform and the keys dont work on our android.
We loved this game until recently. For the past month, its said we have an unclaimed prize. When we click on it, it says theres an error. We’ve reached out to support, and they suggested we try a few thingswhich we havebut it still is doing the same. We downloaded the updateand it still is acting up. We reached back out today, and they wanted a screenshot. In trying to send a screenshot, it wont let us. Tonight, it says we won a game that we didnt even play, and said it was an opponents move in three other games that we havent played. Shortly after, it started two more games, also stating its the opponents turn. This game is behaving badly, and Im very close to deleting a game we truly enjoy.
We used to live this game but corporate greed has swept in and now it is annoying to play the game because the time spent wait to play and watching ads is equal to game time and the app is always going down or faltering.
Horrible update! We join a tournament and am the only one. After the timer counts down to zero and the Tournament is about to begin appears, not even the default Boogle avatar players appear – just stuck in perpetuity. Waited minutes to see if there was a lag. Got tired of waiting for so long and resigned. Tried this in both Classic and Classic Bonus multiple times with the same result. How can you release a version update that creates more performance bugs than fixes then? Another example of developers pushing things down without performing due diligence or beta testing prior to deployment. And yes, we are using the latest iOS on our iPhone! Hopefully other players have noticed this and sharing feedback. Kindly make an effort to fix this issue so we can play the tournaments and any other bugs people identified with the recent update.
We keep losing games for supposedly resigning. It’s really annoying to lose a game in the third round to someone we were trouncing because of an issue with the app. We’re proud of our stats. Our longest winning streak is something like 35 games. We NEVER resign and we play a few times a day. Is there a fix for this. We have the latest version of the game and play on IOS 16.6.1.
The app crashes after every game. Or we cant play at all. We click the persons name to take our turn and game crashes.
Loved this until latest iOS update. Now it continues to crash after almost every game. We’ve deleted, rebooted, etc but to no avail. Hopefully itll be fixed but it seems iOS 17.0.2 is a problem with this game.
We love Boggle, but we hate the ads! They take over our screen and cant be deleted. So we have to remove/delete the Boggle app every game and then restore it again from the App Store. There must be a better way?!
The daily prizes are cumulative and at the end of the 16 days youre supposed to get a grand prize. But the grand prize says that the award is no longer available when its the day for the ward to be given. So last night we set our alarm to go off at 3:05 AM because the grand prize was supposedly given at 3:00 AM. At 3:05 the game told us the grand prize was no longer available! So annoying! Also what areAll these things you added with no explanation of how they work? What is the blaze prize and what are XP points? What are they used for? How is one supposed to find out the answers to these questions? **Added several weeks laterMystery Daily Bonus is a joke! We played at midnight – the ultimate prize not available yet. 9:00 am its expired. Just a way to keep you on the game longer. So annoying UpDated! May 2022 Twice in a row (today!)it has cheated us out of the mega prize that you have to sit through for 2 weeks to get. We used to get those mega power ups through playing tournament games butnowyouhave to wait 30 seconds to even get started in one.
We have to reopen the app after every game as it closes after playing a round and then hitting the next game to open it. Love the game, hate the failures.
We’ve been playing against a consistent set of friends for years at part of our morning ritual: coffee, cat in lap, Boggle. Its how we get our brain out of sleep mode. But the latest updates have been riddled with bugs. Now we play one round and as soon as we try to play the next, the app crashes – everysingletime. Please fix it before we dump the game entirely.
We love how we can get in a bunch of quick games in between doing other stuff around the house. The games matching system works well at paying people up with equal skill.

Our husband and we love this game. Unfortunately, we cant watch videos to get tokens anymore? It wont let us, no button there to usually click on to watch your daily amount of videos. We dont want to waste money to by tokens. Its been almost a few weeks and we did the update?
This game is cool however it does need to be updated to reflect words that are actually words that you do not get credit for. But its addictive to say the least!
We’ve had no problems for years with ads, after we paid to have it ad-free. Now all of a sudden ads are appearing, and theres no x to make it go away.
Im writing this review because we hate the annoying ad that comes in the middle of the game. You are stuck there until you keep hitting the ad and your game stops and you go back to the Home Screen. The ads should come either at the beginning or end of the game, not in the middle. Although we love word games, we think Im going to stop playing this because of the placement of the ads.
We’ve been playing for years and enjoy it. However, there seems to be a recent change in how long an opponent can remain idle before the game is forfeited automatically. It used to be around 10-12 days but now we have games where the opponent has been idle for over 30 days and its still an open game. Why? You can only have x amount of open games and allowing a player to remain idle for 3-5 weeks is ridiculous. Change it.
Since iOS 17 update, app crashes after Every. Single. Round. If you dont sit through the ad after Every Single Round, the app acts as if you never played the round. Sooo play a round, wait through an ad, select the next round or player – App Crashes immediately. Super frustrating. Prior to update – yes, ads after every round and no option to buy out of them. We would gladly pay if it were offered. We do enjoy playing the game, this many ads is overk*ll and super annoying.
Good game. Too much repetition on boards. Why in the world do we have to wait in boys in tournaments?
We love Boggle. We play it all the time. However we have one problem. We want to delete unwanted active players but we dont know if we can. They just pop up on there and we never play with them. We just want to delete them. We now have 15 or 20 and we want them gone. You can delete finished games but not these.
Ours frequently stops working correctly. Today we have nothing but a black screen.
We’ve been playing this game for years and we like it but those inscessant royal match ads are close to making us delete the game.
We guess the glitches chased off players. We cant get enough players for a tournament and end up playing computers. We have a lot of coin and tickets but there are not enough people playing to make this fun. Even the reviews for the app are old. Please promote the game so we arent playing Einstein.
Ads keep covering key parts of the game and cannot be moved or closed. Contacting game support is too cumbersome to try to fix.
Game has been crashing ever since we updated to iOS 17. Need help!
We’ve loved this app for a long but recently two things have happened and Im not fond of either. 1. Three times now in the last two weeks or so we have played the third round with a great score only for it to show a zero. Guess what typically happens when you score zero on the last round? You lose! Which was even more frustrating due to it messing up our streak. 2. All of a sudden inactive games are continuing?? We have people who havent played their turn in 14-21 days and its still there waiting. Which is really annoying since Im maxed out on games but many have been opened for over two weeks with no move on our opponents end. We dont want to forfeit those games and mess up our winning percentage.
DEAR APP DEVELOPERS, On the verge of deleting our fourteen-year go-to word game app due to the power-up craziness that now drives the game. Competing fair and square was a lot of fun. Competing with the ability to PAY TO WIN takes all the skill and strategizing fun out of it. We cant fight the profit-making motives behind this, but we can suggest / hope you find a way to tame it. IDEA: How about offering players the option to play without either you or your opponent using power-ups? Our guess is that you wont loose much/any revenue, based on the surge of players who use power-ups. And youll keep your most loyal, and often most genuinely skilled, players from jumping ship.
After updating to iOS 17 it keeps crashing! We hope its fixed soon!
We love the actual game and have been playing Boggle in all its many iterations for 13 years now. We have played some of the same people for ~5-10 years and chatting with them adds to the games enjoyment for us. This past June our previous chats suddenly disappeared and it became apparent that people werent getting our chats anymore and vice versa. We were able to confirm this with some of the people we play with through email or when their chat started working again weeks or more later. However, there are at least 7 of our regulars who we still cant chat with. We’ve written Zynga numerous times and was told they are aware of the issue (the last couple of times its been crickets). Its getting close to 2 months now making us wonder if theyll resolve the issue. When the chat IS working, the text had gotten smaller with the last update. Work with us here, Zynga. Youve been around for awhile and so have a lot of your players so please bring back larger more legible text size.
We cant figure out how to play without ads. This app would be 5 stars if we could get rid of them. We would gladly pay to not see them every time we finished a single game. They are so irritating that we’ve actually stopped playing as much and am considering deleting the app. Does anyone know how to stop them?
If youre playing in a tournament against the computer it takes an inordinate amount of time for the computer players to finish their games. This should be immediately IMO. Dont know if this is some kind of tactic for you to log more time on the game or if it is associated with advertising? Whatever the case it is annoying and is usually the reason why we stop playing the game.
As if the onslaught of ads wasnt already enough They put an ad on top of the screen during the game, one that is easily pressed by mistake, which probably drives up their revenue, but makes playing the game much more difficult. And now! Constant crashes. This game has turned out to be very disappointing. Get rid of the ads on the top of the screen during gameplay!
Version 17.59.605, ever since update the app crashes half the times we click a game to take our turn. After restarting the app we can get into that game but then it crashes on the next game we try to take a turn. Also, for as long as we can remember, when you open the app it takes considerable time to load all the elements of the UI. Thats not so bad unless you try to click on a game its your turn to play and instead the app just inserted another button right where that game was and you end up clicking to start a new game – particularly if its with the same person you just tried to start a game with when the app crashed a minute ago, so now you have two new games started with the same stranger and you look like a doofus. Board game Boggle is a fantastic game, and we’ve enjoyed this iOS app version for years. But these little problems are annoying. Do the developers ever play the game? It seems like they probably dont.
For weeks, our weekly score for the daily challenge has been wrong. By the end of the week, our score is reduced by hundreds to over a thousand points. We asked for help with this weeks ago, and we dont understand why it hasnt been dealt with or solved. We’ve tried all of your normal suggestions numerous timesuninstalled and reinstalled, closing and opening the app, checking for updates etc. We’ve spent a LOT of money on this game over several years, and the daily challenge is our favorite part of the game. Now with the new iPhone15 pro and the upgrade to 17.0.2, game frequently crashes, and for example, having spent the tokens to play the daily challenge, goes to last place score of 0 having never even played the game . Game update needed. Beware. Also, in general, as others have mentioned, do away with the pornographic cartoon ads for games Id never consider engaging with. They are disgusting.! And not necessary.
Poop isnt allowed but the word ji$m comes up all the time (not a pun). Other notable words that come up very often are p3nis, br3asts,p;mp, b0ner, r@ping. Im not saying all of these words should be omitted from the game code but they appear sooooo frequently. We have also seen the n-word and r3tard. Intentional? Definitely.
Stupid crappy ads cover the board. Dont waste your time.
Cool game yes, but lots of flaws. The app itself is constantly freezing or exiting out of the game. Way too many advertisements in between matches. Feels like a huge percentage of the words arent even used today. Many of the words arent English and Im using the English setting. Abbreviation are also excepted which makes no sense. Extremely annoying sound when you make a mistake. The rewards are completely out of reach for the tournament section to where we stopped playing tournaments.
This game changed their algorithms and made it even harder to win 8/11/23 You will lose more players doing this. People wont buy tickets. Not going to buy tickets just to lose.
We have played this game for around 10 years. Overtime, it keeps degrading. Ads are way more frequent and intrusive. Often theres a little banner ad that blocks the home screen where we can see how many tokens we have, the daily challenge, and so on. Right now, daily challenges such as half off Tuesday are stuck from a couple of days ago. In person chat with the help desk used to be useful, but we cant even ask a new question right now. We really liked this game, but Im going to be actively looking for a replacement.

Boggle should be more choosy with their ads. Sometimes an ads will display during a tournament which you cannot seem to exit out of, you end up forfeiting your game and tickets: bummer.
Have played bogel /word streak for years. Phone froze and had to reload game. Now game is absolutely annoying ! Even with game sound turned off, at the end of the game it immediately automatically goes to an ad with full loud sound. Cannot even see score or words from game since it goes straight to the stupid loud ads. On the ad there is a button you can then hunt for to turn off that particular ad but not before everyone around you has been disturbed. Before had to reboot the game to our phone, we had hundreds of power ups which paid for. That all disappears. We contacted the company via the app support and they were zero zero zero help. We love the game but hate the ads so much we now barely play. Quite sad!
Since latest iOS update app crashes whenever you try to start a new game. We’ve contacted support relentlessly but get the same robotic response with the same recommended fixes that do nothing to rectify the problem.
The WordleGame. Org ad that ends with Christmas garland and snow wont close. We have to close the whole app to get rid of that ad.
We just downloaded this after having Word Streak for the longest time and not realizing that was no longer activeIm trying to reconnect Facebook and it keeps saying, Account already Connected, This Facebook Account has Been Connected to Another User . Its listed as being connected on Facebook but we dont see any of our active friends. Unsure of what to do.
