Brain Box Quiz: Trivia Fun is a fun comedy quiz game, starring the eponymous joke and pun cracking host.
You'll answer questions in seven trivia categories, testing your knowledge on entertainment, music, sport, general knowledge, history, geography and literature.
Quiz questions on Trivia Fun are full of jokes and laughs, and there's 100s to play! There's loads of questions about your most-loved movies, TV shows, music acts and sport stars.

We like the trivia questions and the fact that the game is playable without spending money. Unfortunately, when you get farther into the game, you get repeated questions, which arent as fun. We were addicted at first but now Im glad we didnt spend the $2 for ad free.
This is the 3rd look and update since Ive played Trivia Guy. On one hand, this is both good and as well as a step backward. Questions, humor, and overall charm of the game are intact and are part of the fun. The weird scaling zoom up of the trivia guy himself is.weird. Almost thought it was bug how he animated into place every question. We vastly prefer the older versions of the app for the presentation. The questions and explanation of the answer also animate in slowly – maybe to help with pacing, but it all feels like it slows down the game immensely. One great thing about this new version is that the points earned summary is now included in the explanation of the answer screen. This we think was how it was in the original version we played a few years ago. (our favorite presentation) we are glad that this is no longer a second confirmation button/screen before proceeding with the question, but we still prefer how the entire answer and explanation were on the screen as soon as the screen changed – for fast readers, even the ability to tap to skip the animation ahead would be nice. No matter what, we find the scaling up and down of the mascot extremely out of place – it would be less so if he did something, but something about the lack of animation (within the art itself) is unsettling. One thing we had hoped would return with a new update would be the category quizzes. We liked to play the 10 question round but by being able to choose what types we would receive, such as history, movies, music, etc. It seems only that you can take 10 questions from random categories, without any customization to the quiz possible now. It seemed like the older version we first played was the best to us overall – it was great with pacing, display, and snappiness of the quiz itself ( we did like the size of the UI in this version a lot, but we prefer the older colors – the large amount of yellow seems to feel off for some reason now, but the text is extremely readable and appropriately sized.) but the artwork of the character didnt command attention with pointless animation, and you could play only the type of quiz youd like for the moment. We do wish this would return. Id also like to see more music – it is the one thing that hasnt changed, and while nice, it gets old quickly. A few more tracks that change sometimes while playing would be nice, tho Im sure many may play on silent or with other music playing from their phone. The sound effects are nice too, and provide nice feedback – its more effective than the animation of the thumbs up or down we feel that plays now. We feel like this is a huge complaint but we do really like this game, but the creator seems to take a step sideways with these updates. Im sure there are reasons for it, but we feel like they are reducing the charm a little each time while not introducing new benefits. We wish we could install even the previous version, but the original version we played is still our favorite. However, the reason we play Trivia Guy overall, and will continue to do so, is the charm of the writing and how the questions are produced. They always feel humorous and well written, and we enjoy the way they work the players name into, as if Trivia Guy is actually asking you them right there. If a new update comes in that could address some of these issues, or at least allow some customization to speed up the transition/ type writer effect of the text on the explanation screen (where you confirm to go to next question), disable the animation of the Guy each time, etc, we would love that. We like this game a lot – its the only trivia game Id bother writing a review of at all, and one that pains us to even be critical of. We loved that first version we played and if iPhone allowed it, we would go back to that version for all its features and UI/feeling. But the actual trivia itself is still top notch. We know the developer cares about this game, but we think a little more love to these pretension elements could help it even more, but right now it feels like too much is going on with it and we would welcome seeing it pared back a bit. But that doesnt mean we will stop playing, and doesnt mean folks should pass this game up – its still extremely witty and that alone makes up for hiccups in the UI, which could be a matter of taste to many that do not feel the way we do.
An enjoyable time with the trivia Guy a great challenge if you dont know a topic or so, but in the Long Run, a most enjoyable experience.

Hey, cant complain. This app has everything you would want out of a trivia game including actual trivia questions. (How many people know that there is such a thing?) So, yes we are very happy with this app. Why the 4 stars then jerk? Im really not trying to be a jerk. It is that there are a few things that we could do without. The Font (though fun) can get a little hard on the eyes after awhile. We might suggest that only the question and answers be in a more traditional font like San Sheriffs (see what we did there) and even though Im trying our stand-up comic skills in this review. In the app we feel that it could benefit from a little less comedy. The slapstick comedy is fun and deserves its place within the app but it doesnt has to be everywhere. Well thats it. See that wasnt to jerky of us. Just a little constructive criticism. On the bright side the dev will probably get our very last dollar as soon as we get our unemployment check. All so that we can unlock those extra, great , actual trivia questions.
This is more fun than Trivia Crack!! We love the option of not having to buy anything and its not the same ole questions over and over again. And you can play at your own speed or against the timer or against a friend. Worth it.
It is a super fun game to play when you are bored or you want to quiz yourself but there are a lot of adds.
Im somewhat new to this app but we are enjoying the experience. The witty, humorous comments of Trivia Guy combined with great questions provide a unique quiz game format. We upgraded to premium for two reasons: we like to support independent developers and the price was very reasonable.
This game is super fun and quirky, we can play this for hours if we wanted to! Seriously, this game is the best! The trivia questions arent too hard, but they arent easy! Download this and see for yourself.

This is fun different and unique . You gotta try it out… It will have you laughing and enjoying trivia at the same time.
We like everything about this game, the neat interface (including Trivia Guys cute face), the humor, the categories and most of the questions too! And frankly, the price for premium is reasonable…and as we hope to see more games like this from you….we are glad we were able to contribute to it while getting premium for ourselves! What can we say…its a win-win situation.

Trivia Guy is the best trivia game in the App Store!!! Trivia Guy has a great user interface with fun and interesting graphics. Trivia Guy has a fun and funny look and feel, its full of surprises and humor!!! Im a Premium member of Trivia Guy its only $1.99 and worth every penny.
Love this game and all the categories to choose from. The only one that we didnt like was Music, only because it was more for the younger group. Still a 5 star app.

This is a witty and fun trivia game that just needs some more advertising and players for less adds and more opponents. We know we need to upgrade to premium to support it and maybe we will soon. Give it a try! Thats going to be the best way to keep games like this around. Reminds us of the concept of You Dont Know Jack in that its very tongue in cheek and keeps us laughing as well as thinking. Im very impressed with this independent developer.

This game looks so nice, and is satisfying to play. The quizzes seem well thought out and clever, and it is so entertaining and fun, and a great way to kill time or just do something you enjoy. Its a very funny and cute way to learn new things, we hope it keeps up the spectacular pace.
Its a good game but we cannot stand the pop up that keeps showing after every quiz asking us to get premium. And then we have to wait until it lets us continue. Why are you trying to force us to get premium? We think money will add up with all the ads we keep watching and clicking on.
We love it but we just cant find out how to turn the timer off.
This game has huge potential, but we think that if there would be one thing to add, it would be to gain coins when you do well (like 10 coins for every 2 questions correct), because you will find that you run out very quickly and are either stuck watching videos before games, or forced to pay $2 for premium mode. Game has a TON of potential though, great idea, really.
We really love this game but recently the game started freezing whenever we play. Some times it even freezes on the menu options. Theres no updates or anything so we dont know why its doing this. We have the premium version so there shouldnt be any problems. Please help us fix this.

We get it you have to have ads to pay for the app but you have to watch an add before every single game you play? Come on. We would have given it 5 stars if you even went an add every other game.
This is a cute game for maybe an hour, but then the quizzes start repeating over and over. There are very few actual quiz questions and that isnt much fun for a trivia game. Very glad we didnt pay for the ad-free version before finding this out.
Doing this for fun, but this trivia guy is takes the questions a little to seriously. The game takes the fun out of it. We dont care for it.
More than half the questions are pop culture. We hate pop culture, we get its a trivia category but this app is over half that one category. No thanks.
Not funny, too much reading, way too obscure trivia, and way too few questions. We wont be redownloading this app.
