This has been our go to game for years. It had a ton of ads but we over looked that because we enjoyed the game so much. We played it almost everyday for years. It was tricky, entertaining, fun, and made you think. We just recently updated the app and it is safe to say we are completely unhappy with it. The level lengths, difficulty, and new look and feel for the game are all wrong. This game used to be challenging and we would sometimes spend days on the same level. Now, we dont even have to think twice about if Im going to get it on the first try. After three turns we are already at the end of the level??? Where is the fun in that? No one wants to play a game of this kind just for it to be a shoo-in for winning. We want a challenge. The look and feel for the game is completely off aswell. The classic and basic look is x10 better than whatever the look is now. The balls move too fast. EVERYTHING moves too fast. Its just not good. We would hate to turn from this game but we really dont feel like we have a choice. It turned into a comfort thing for us. We would play it when we were stressed and now thats gone. No one wants to play a game thats so easy that its kind of irritating. Everyone would prefer if the original version of the game came back. It is not challenging anymore. It is not calming. It is nothing how it used to be. It is just not fun anymore. Please take this review into consideration, and bring back the original version of the game. It is SO much better than this new update in every aspect. Thank you for your time.
'we love breakout games. This one is very challenging. We love that theres no commercials.
Great game! We've been playing for a while, currently at level 1010. We love the updates and everything. However, we have one issue when we pause the game and have the gold shield medal rush, we sometimes forget Im playing Brick OutIf we return to the game after a while, it resets our shields, which really upset us. Please add a feature that allows us to resume the game without restarting the level.
So fun its so bouncy it is the best.

No ads, no complicated rules or action required, just simple fun. Like it a lot.
Been playing this game for a little while, pretty fun but also gets hard at the higher levels. They recently removed the adds which is fine but it also removed the ability to watch an add to keep playing, making it nearly impossible to finish some levels without spending. Disappointed.
The game is great! Loads of challenging levels. Recently the game will freeze in the middle of playin a level and we have to close the app and start over.
So much fun , we are really good at it for all ages we are 54.
Shooting is a challenging but do we get cash.
Im tired of hitting that lightning option button on the lower left and losing our jewels! You need to change your ball option screen.
If you are looking for a brick shooting game that feels different every time you play, even if on the same level, you are in luck! This is one of the most inconsistent and poorly tuned games Ive played in a very long time. The programming around the aiming, how shots bounce, the way things move with power-ups, just everything in general feels so clunky all you can do is fire and hope for the best. Nothing is consistent and seems to change every attempt to the point of making you start to wonder if it isnt on purpose. Fine for killing time and your phone battery, but easily forgettable and may be worth just looking for something else.
Ive been playing Brick Out on & off for a long time; Ill play for a while, then get fed up with an exceptionally tough level and avoid it for a while. Overall, its a fun game BUT 1) It is VERY hard to exit the game on an iPhone because 99% of the time it interprets the flick up gesture as a cue to aim & fire instead. 2) An increasing number of ads cannot be exited in any way other than force-quitting the app entirely. 3) The aiming seems to be improving, but it is still frequently a case of yelling, Thats NOT what we told you to do! At the screen. 4) There is a growing number of what seem like side quests, separate games, contests, etc. That confuse the issue of am we continuing the same game or starting a new one more often than not. One additional caveat: be very careful with how you hold your phone, because the slightest contact by a knuckle, other finger, etc. WILL trigger an action.
The cute games saving people or putting out fires have not seen in over 100 levels. Game is fun but would like to see the levels you get to pick for saving scenarios.
If you don't plan on spending any money, then plan on deleting this app when you reach Level 200. That's as far as you'll ever get for free. At that point, it's impossible to go any further.
Ads never work if you want extra points or items, guiding arrow isnt accurate fun until level 100.
This is always a challenge and so much fun. We would like to say the best things about it are that they are not hounding you for money or innumerable ads and tho this is TRUE the best thing is the game itself. Fun Fun and more FUN.
The game is constantly demanding that we buy packs or bundles and we cant go two levels without seeing one and we just want to have a fun experience which is interrupted by them.
The game is nice but they have it where even though they give you EVERYTHING for it to be free they have that stupid piggy bank where you HAVE to spend money to use it. Im over these things personally. So no thanks. The game itself is nice and relaxing and enjoyable otherwise.

A lot of the time we play this after a add for something in the game it freezes and we haft to swipe the game out and it resets some of the stuff we did and its annoying so can you please fix it? Thank you.
It wasnt as advertised. We wanted to break the bricks to release the water to put out the fire for the people. It doesnt have that.
The game is fun but you absolutely cannot get past certain levels without making purchases. Therefore we are uninstalling the game from all our devices. We are not spending money on the game.
Its exactly like life. Edited to add a request for new features: 1. Option to disable daily login rewards booster. We play pure. We dont consider ourselves to have beaten a level unless we did it without boosters. So that means every day we have to wait 15 or 30 minutes for the booster to run out before we can play the game. 2. Option to skip to end of play. Sometimes our play creates great points but is boring to look at or takes too long. Sometimes we just want the points, we dont want to see all the action. We would even pay a gemstone or a point or whatever in order to exercise this option. Thanks for such an amazing game! You guys are killing it, we really wonder how you come up with this stuff.
This app constantly freezes. At times during a tournament it will freeze and Ill lose all progress. Their customer service is terrible and dont get back to you in a reasonable time. We have had Apple reimburse us multiple twice already. If theres another Brick game, you might be better playing that one instead.
This game is very entertaining and there is barely any ads and it also doesnt need any internet to play. Please get this fun game, because it will keep you intertwined for hours! Please see how fun it is in the real game.
We win gems but they are put in a piggy back that in order to access them we have to buy the bank. NO THANKS.
Where is the game yall show with the rescues.
Puzzles are fun, but at some point it seems like they would let you get past certain levels you go on one level and you're stuck and it's getting to where we're about ready to delete it. We know they're trying to make money, but you can't save up enough to get past the level if you're having trouble.
Waste of time and money if you get sucked into it enough to spend. Even using the bullseye perk that maps out the direction the brick breaker is supposed to follow is garbage and often misses.
Bring back unlimited mode and itd b 5 stars.
The game wasnt too bad at first, but around level 50 or so of the main mode the levels started getting pretty frustrating. Not too bad, but considering you lose items for the events (of which there are way too many) it gets pretty aggravating. Especially when we realized it was likely to make us try and use the powerups and boosters that cost gems, and shocker, thats where the money comes into play. Then starting around level 100, ads after every level. Usually games at least give you the option to double your winnings, but in this game, it just occasionally offers you 3 more gems? Unless we misread and it was 3x, which we doubt. Regardless, we tried to see if maybe it was just in the main mode that the ad spam had started, but nope. Classic, gravity, ads after every round. This game wasnt bad for an hour or two, but once the ad onslaught started, we deleted it.
The game was fun at first. But lately, the level design has been getting ridiculous (currently level 405 for reference). It takes an unreasonable amount of tries to complete a level. You are forced to use powerups because the number of balls you are given is NEVER enough. And Hard/Super Hard levels are not spaced out enough. LITERALLY Every 2/3 games is a Hard/Super Hard level for no reason other than to stress you out and keep you from getting the Medal Rush perks.
The game is very fun. The mandatory ads can be brutal. Some are very difficult to close. Very difficult.
Please stop promoting so many online gambling games. The ads you provide saying a player can earn money by playing online games require gambling and we are not a gambler on gamesnow or ever!!! Every time we play this game, we get bombarded with ads to EARN MONEY PLAYING GAMES. These are online gambling games which are illegal where we live.
The game is really fun, challenging & keeps you wanting to play. The amount of ads is just too much, they are just constant. Im not going to play to pay.
Ada everywhere and in-app pop ups like crazy. Addicting game, but almost impossible to get passed a level without watching at least one minute long ad. Plus when you open the app, youre bombarded with ads and pop ups immediately. Theres no consideration for user experience.

We have spent money on this bc its so satisfying! Even when the noise is off its fun to watch the balls bounce all over.
Two big issues. First is the ads. Im glad theyre short, usually manageable to deal with, especially when looking at previous reviews where it sounds like they used to be much worse. But, its still incredibly annoying how much they pop up, even after having just watched one. Ill watch one in between levels, but if we switch apps real quick, or let our phone lock (even accidentally), it throws another ad up, even while in the middle of playing a level. Also, the price of disabling ads is, frankly, far too high Second big issue, is the targeting line. It is incredibly frustrating at times because it is not entirely accurate to where Im aiming. We could be aiming at a certain block, that might be cutting it close to another block, but the targeting line shows a clear path to the one Im aiming at. But when we fire, it hits the other block, completely ruining the shot that we were shown to be able to make because it seems that the path the targeting line is showing, and the path the balls actually take are two different paths. Its an incredibly frustrating mechanic (or bug?) in an otherwise actually pretty fun game.
This game was cool until they added ads after every level.
Ive played this game for years, great for a quick break from work or while waiting. Currently on level 3552, but may be looking for another game. The ads have recently gotten out of control! Some of the ads are well over a minute and 5-8 close buttons to get out of the ad to play or continue a level. All the ads have gotten too much, along with the continued glitches, just seems to have gone downhill.
Balls change trajectories in ways you would not expect, sometimes getting stuck in one section of the playing field, making it impossible to achieve the effects you want.
Fun and addicting when you arent watching ads. Want to watch an ad for that extra line space? No problem, enjoy your 90 second ad and then bask in the fact the play on button doesnt work afterwards. Maybe a bug? Okay, but the banner with their $5.99 upgrade works, so does the gem shop button; these are all on the same screen and this has happened to us over two different updates.
Complex but easy to learn and really fun.
