Community Insight:
Ive had a paid subscription for at least 2 years and suddenly the app is treating us as if we dont subscribe despite our cc being charged monthly! We have emailed twice and gotten no response. We are giving it another week, then we are canceling and deleting the app! So disappointed.
The bidding uses too many different conventions and often confuses itself as well as us. And then our partner takes our tricks like Im on a different team.
Excellent for re-evaluating our bidding skills. Good to have the chance to re-play a hand and improve the score. Love every moment! Enjoy seeing how others play, bid and try to beat them.
Ive been playing Bridge Mentor for the past four months and am really enjoying it. We probably play 40 hands a week; and have found the app reliable and operates smoothly (Im on an IPad). We recently subscribed to the monthly subscription service; and can now participate in the competition mode and now unlimited hands in the practice bidding and card play mode. A helpful new feature is the ability to replay a hand in competition mode; but we can bid it differently. Nice! We get to see how others competition players bid and if they made their bid. This helps us improve our bidding and play certainly elevates our game. Since we first started playing Bridge Mentor, Ive noticed several tweaks that improve the visuals when reviewing a hand; and tweaks on card play logic. Definitely recommend.
We cant believe that Ive finally found a Bridge App that we can understand and is so easy to use. Thank you so much, our wife and we are absolutely thrilled.
We love this game but about every 6-7 games the screen freezes and we have to delete from phone and redownload. Just when we get a good hand. One more thing. If we were bidding with a human partner we would not jump to game, even when we should have the points, until we have had more of a bidding conversation. The lack of these intermediate bids prevents us from getting more information about our partners bid and perhaps exploring a baby or grand slam. Those intermediate steps need to be written into the game. What if we bid a five card suit, our partner raises us one but we want a better picture of their hand. We want to be able to bid our four card suit and go back to the five card suit to first tell our partner that we have five cards in this suit and allows them to pass or raise. Also there seems to be little provision for Blackwood etc. Please, please make the bidding process allow for more complexity and thus more accurate bidding. On the good side this is the best Bridge app we have found! Please fix the freeze and allow for more complete bidding, thank you.
An excellent Bridge app. Very easy to use. Explanations are available allowing the user to better understand rationale for bidding and card play.
Can not figure out how to use. The screens are so small it takes a magnifying glass to see them. We emailed for help but have heard from no one. We would not recommend to get this unless someone helps you to use it. They need to give better instructions. And a big word to the wise they tell you how much it cost before elect to get the subscription. Very deceptive. Not pleased at all.
