Great game. Yes, it may require some purchase if you want to continually play. Main issue is that we ran out of worlds in a week.
We like the game but need a manual of sorts to understand the whys and wherefores better.
This is an ok game but unlike bubble bust, you have to buy the boosts, not earn them. There is also little explanation regarding what some of the "traps" are, such as "boss ahead". We finally figured it out, we think. Or maybe just an accident that we eventually beat the levels where it exists.
You need to collect a certain amount of gold before you can level up to a new world. The scoring is rigged so you have to buy more gold (real money).
..be ready to spend money to continue playing game.
Played ONE LEVEL and we have to use coins to buy a fireball to move to the next level? Not fun. Goodbye.
If however you are like us then avoid all Game-On games from now on. We don't usually write reviews but we are very unhappy with the current trend of game makers. We loved Bubble Bust and we paid for all the "Worlds". You could go from level to level and move up yo the next world after you paid them a small fee. With this new game you just keep paying and paying just to move to the next World. There is no way to just pay to unlock them all. You need to get a certain number of stars in each level to eventually move on. Sadly there is no explanation on how to get more stars. So you just have to pay and pay to continue. We refuse to buy another game like this. Either charge a flat rate to unlock or the levels or tell your customer the total amount they will have to pay to complete all the levels.
Decent follow up game to bubble bust.
This is a great sequel to the original Bubble Blast. The graphics are sharp, and the game runs smoothly. We appreciate that we can pay a few bucks and not have to deal with banner ads or limited lives. However, we can't give it 5 stars until two particularly egregious features are removed. 1) Ads that pop up in the middle of the game! Who approved that? 2) You have to look at the upgrade shop before every level. This becomes annoying very fast. We don't mind having the option to spend coins on these items, but they should be in their own menu. We understand that the developers need to make money from their games, but please include these terrible features on the list of things that are removed when the game is upgraded to ad-free. Thanks.
This is very similar to the old Bubble Bust, but with a path through a "world" instead of the grid to choose the level. Levels must be unlocked one by one–no skipping! The most prominent feature now, though, is the screen to purchase upgrades. You have to bypass it EVERY time you start a level. Our other comment it that this needs better directions. On some levels, a Boss appears–we think you have to shoot him multiple times or he messes with you marbles, but we are not sure. He has a meter of some sort under his neck. Also, there are is a timer at the top and the bottom of the screen, both counting down something different, but no indication of what. We think one is related to a lightning bolt, the significance of this is also not explained. Otherwise, gameplay is similar–and a nice time waster.
This is one of the two games we play regularly. We like this new version of this game just as much as the previous version. It has options to purchase coins or whatever but it is not required to play the game continuously which is a nice change since most newer games require a payment after dying 'x' amount of times in order to keep playing. If you like fast paced puzzle games you will like this game a lot! Keep up the good work.

Good addition to the original. We still replay some of the levels we've already completed in the old version. New version is pretty good but do not like the interruptions from one level to the next with buying tokens. Also The way it reacts is a bit slower than the older version. Overall, really like it especially the addition of the big boss which gives more of a challenge.
Needs to improve on the delay between levels continuous interruption of asking to purchase more tokens. The older version as far as asking to purchase more tokens is better than the new version. Love playing Bubble bust…this could be version could be better.
This game seems to be much easier than the original which is disappointing. Considering the years it took to release a follow up, we would think they'd have more levels.
We loved the first game and still play it. The concept of this game is just as great; however, the CONSTANT interruptions to buy 'special' add ons is ruining it. Close to deleting this game.
Won't let you get past level six without buying tokens. No thanks. Deleting game. 0 stars.
