Community Insight:
We downloaded this game because Ive been enjoying the newer releases so much that we wanted to start from the beginning of the creations! However, we were disappointed with this one. We cannot for the life of us understand what GL: stands for and why the numbers are in the order theyre in. We could maybe understand if there was a clue that indicated to order the number of glasses by glass type from tallest to shortest, but we dont see that anywhere. The clue on the balcony through the glasses indicates that it should be wine glass, beer glass, champagne flute. But this was not the order. The walkthrough was completely unhelpful in providing a solution (just the answer without explanation of why) and we didnt like that the app didnt offer any hints. Im glad the games got better over time, but if youre still offering this game on the App Store we would ask that you make changes to make it a more enjoyable experience. Thank you.
This is yet another nice game from this dev. We had a little trouble with a couple of puzzles- one because we didnt remember to pay attention to an obvious clue, the other due once again to a rather obscure perspective, but still solvable, nonetheless, with a little extra tapping on our part. Most of the solutions are really pretty logical, though there usually seems to be at least one in the bunch that requires a somewhat overdriven imagination. We dont mind- as long as the puzzle isnt too weird, it just presents a little extra challenge, and Ive yet to find one from this dev that we thought was completely unfair. Moving on to the next one.
Game was okay but several of the puzzles needed hints to figure them out because they really didnt make sense: counting the different glasses, clue in the planter.
The clues made no sense to us, even with answers.
It would be more enjoyable if there was more than one level ,because who should get a game that you cant get to use more.
Awesome game to make you think outside the box.
Hints are welcome, nice clean design & interface, fun games that are hard for than they first appear.
This game is the bomb yo. We love this game so much!! ALL of their games are awesome.
It was difficult at times. We really enjoyed it.
Lots of fun. Harder than the second and third.
We really enjoyed playing this game! It's a real attention grabber and makes you think about your next move. There are times when it's frustrating as some clues don't make sense. We gave the game five stars because of the walk through. It's very helpful when you're at your wits end and provides answers so you can move forward. It's also broken up by scenes which is great too. We look forward Seaside game #2.
Great challenges but the solutions still made sense (once we caught up to you).
Clean and modern visually… Challenging but also relaxing.
What a fun app! Very challenging.
Had to use the walk through twice dang it! Was very challenging and when you figured it out it was amusing and clever.
Enjoyed it thoroughly. We hope to see the next version shortly.
Took some thinking and a whole lot of doing and redoing and trying and more trying. But we love a challenge. This was great fun.
We're always looking for the next level of "escape" games; this one keeps you on your toes.
Much better game than most escape room games. Had to use more creative thinking than most other games.
It took a while to get through, we watched some of the videos because we were stuck in some scenes, it worth downloading it and have some relax time before go bed.
We liked it. The puzzles were tough but it was very short otherwise.
This app is great on an iPhone, because you don't have to turn your phone sideways. Easy to navigate, and not cluttered, however, the graphics could be a bit more detailed. The best part is the walkthrough, if you get into trouble. It is broken up into sections, so you don't have to start from the beginning each time. We've downloaded lots of escape apps, and this one is a good one.
Puzzles are challenging. Interface could use an update. Sometimes backing out of a closeup on an item takes you back out too far. Eg. Open closet – look at an item inside closet – back away from object – closet is now closed again so you must re-open the closet before inspecting a different item inside the closet. Minor flaw. Enjoyable game! :).
We Like the game but it can be longer, we love the walkthrough that makes easily if you get remain united or cannot continue with the game.
Some of the puzzles required you to climb into the designer's heads a bit too far. We're usually finish these types of games w/o a walkthrough, but we're not sure how someone would complete this game without one? Navigation is fine and overall nice game. It just wasn't really our fave.
One of our favorites. Right amount of difficulty.
Puzzles did not make much sense to us.
We like the concept of these games. Fun to play.
Felt a little annoying since we needed to take a memo, but great game overall, THANKS.
For a two room escape game, it really makes you think.
Found the digits in the glasses code to be backwards. Nothing more frustrating then to have to use the cheat sheet to find the programmer is dyslexic.
Great graphics, nice amount of challenge. Perfect little escape game; we'd love to play more of these.
Enjoyed this one..clear graphics, fun puzzles, ads not intrusive during gameplay, but you get full page ads if you tap the menu icon to pause the game. Difficulty level medium..a few puzzles took more work than usual. There is a video walkthrough out there..we did use it for one puzzle, otherwise was able to figure out everything else. Hope to see more from this dev :).
Seaside 2 is much better. The pictures and animations are nice. But the puzzles are too complex. At one point you have to count the numbers of each type of glass. Moving between two rooms to count means you really need to use a paper and pencil to keep track. There is a math equation that could be done multiple ways, with multiple different answers. A good first effort and look forward to more polished games from this group. Skip this one and try Seaside 2 instead.
We see other reviewers are just as frustrated at this game as we are. Also, there is a YouTube walkthrough for Seaside part 2 but not part 1, which makes us wonder if nobody can solve it due to a bug? We can not get past the bookcase challenge where you have to click on 1 or 2 of 4 boxes in the same pattern as shown on the side of a different book case. We can not get 2 boxes to press down at the same time as required. Please fix, or give help.
Got stuck. Don't know what to do next.
Totally stumped in first room. Help?! Anyone.
Totally stuck in the first room, and we consider ourselves to be more of an advanced level of point-and-click escape the room gaming… DELETED! There are too many other captivating, addicting, and unique games out there to explore. Spending 20 minutes clicking on the same four walls of crap, seeing the same numbers, and not getting ANYWHERE is for the birds! We did manage to construct a screwdriver and unscrew a screw, however. NEXT.
Beautiful graphics, great clues, and a perfect level of challenge! Really enjoyed this game.
