We have played several escape games by this developer now and loved all of them up to this point, but this one confuses us. We will often have all the clues and items we need to solve a puzzle, but dont understand the answer, even after looking it up. For instance, there is a passcode of three letters needed upstairs that requires a letter from each word on the 3 pillars. No clue how we were supposed to guess which letter from each word, as it seems random and there is no explanation. The puzzle outside with the white, gray, and black circular game board pieces also makes no sense to us after getting the answer. We really dont understand it.
So we were really enjoying this game, but Im now fatally stuck. We cant go forward until we rearrange the Go stones, but the Go stones dont move! We even started the game over again and played until we got to the same spot. Same problem: we cant put the stones in the correct order because we cant move them. Id love to change this rating, because it has been really fun, but Im dead in the water so.
IMO this is hands-down the best game Ive played so far from this dev. Maybe if this had been our first one, we might not have been so enthused, but after the gajillion others ones Ive worked through, this one just seemed to click for us (pun intended). There were plenty of challenging puzzles, but no truly obscure ones, and the game had far greater depth than usual, with lots of rooms that had to be revisited to figure solutions. There were, of course, a few multipurpose objects (which we kind of like), as well as a couple of skewed perspectives required, but as we were able to finish it entirely in one sitting with no hints (this time), we thoroughly enjoyed it. To top it off, there was a bonus at the end where you find 6 hidden gems- not tough, but a really nice touch. For free, THIS game is a hidden gem, and we emphatically recommend giving it a try, though it might help to have a few of the other Omnisoft ones under your belt first.
Beautiful graphics and the puzzles really make you think. We had to use a few hints but the logic all makes sense, we just overlooked some things. There were a lot of different rooms to explore too. Loved this game.
When you get to the upper floor, get through a couple doors, you come to a puzzle that opens up a wall. This reveals cubicles with brown objects, supposedly giving the pattern for the screen on the other side of the pillar, which is supposed to show a lighted green grid. The grid does not light up. Even though, at this stage, the walkthrough says it is supposed to. There are other bugs that prevent the application of a tool, or object until it is tapped several times.
Game would not accept the answer for a puzzle even after checking it agaist the hints (312).
We tried twice to play this game but we get stuck with a full inventory and cant pick stuff up. Update: we finally got it on the third try.
There seems to be a bug as we have used items and they remain in our inventory and we are unable to collect other items needed.
Good game but the inventory thing needs to be fixed.
