We love this app but it kicks us out when we are playing online and we win. We would like to see stats.
Update: we were playing, and it was our turn to move after our partner met the 90 point requirement. However, the app is still reading that the 90 minute requirement has not been made so we couldnt proceed playing and it was so annoyed because of that. We really hated to leave the game when we have a good partner as well. We hope thats only a once in a million glitch . Initial: Well, we accidentally drop our phone under our chair while in the middle of the game and we saw the machine made a move for us when we didnt make it in time for a move.lol. Also, whats the weird names of the other players.
We love playing Canasta! However have a lot of trouble with this app! Get down to laying all cards out, and then it wont let us discard our last card! Its so frustrating. Then the clock runs out, and all the cards come back to our hand allowing our partner to go out on their turn!! Also, we will be in the middle of playing and it ends our game.
Like the title says, game routinely freezes. We exit game an must close the app to get it to continue playing. Today is worse than usual because we cant even get one round in, had to close app an restart three times before being so disgusted that we gave up.
Im looking for a better game with fewer ads. This is annoying.

Crazy how game plays out. When you are winning too much; they put you on a losing streak. You are given ZERO wilds and bad cards. The other gets amazing cards. It's set up. Why not have an honest dealt game.
This app has the most annoying ads of any game. They stop midway through the ad and dont go any further. Plus the bugs arent fixed.
Game is fun but the ads are super long and contain up to 4 screens which causes you to be booted from the game.

We love playing this game, but why is our partner always holding on to its card and not playing on melds, using it wild cards to freeze deck when they could of been used to help us score. Also it always gives us 3 wild cards when melt is 50 and never any wild cards when melt is 120 especially if our score is higher. Please fix this bugs!!! Becoming very.
We are sure Ill learn the where, why and what of this game eventually. There are hints as errors are made, but we would like perhaps a screen pop up with a better explanation whenever we do something wrong. We think when you make a canasta it should be more clear on the board. Its a great game to learn.
We enjoy the game, although it kicks us out mid game and Im not sure why. It can be frustrating.
1 in 5 games will glitch and not deal the new hand. Resulting in a loss because player cannot play subsequent hand. Occasionally game will say player left when its not the case. If player time runs out with known players, computer plays round for both players. Too many glitches.

Why does this game have to freeze all the time. We have played 3 games this morning and every time we go out it freezes. Then when we look it marks it as a loss. Cant even get on to play it just searches now.
For some reason, we have not been able to find any partners all day today. That is extremely unusual, as that has never happened before. We dont know if partners are not being looked for or what is going on.
Ive been playing this game for many years and Im satisfied this is the best Canasta online app out there (no ad version is worth the small cost) However, this app does experience outages. And when that happens, historically speaking, the game is down for 5/6 days; its an minor inconvenience because the other apps are leagues apart.

The game started out nice but have reinstalled a few times because it crashes or failed to deal the deck, or wont connect to profiles for matches. Would love to see it working properly. The ads are of course annoying. But wont pay for a game that isnt working.
We enjoy the game when it works. We are currently playing the free version. We like playing online against others. Sadly, much too often the screen goes back to the card table after the ads between hands, but we cannot see any cards for our hand and cannot play. If we stay with the game, we can see our time run out and others light up for their turn a few time. Eventually the game just tells us that we have forfeited since we are not connected to the game. Very aggravating for us and probably for those that we are playing with.
We cant seem to be able to get it to join or load an online game theses last 3 days has happened before sad because its the best online canasta app.
Its been a few days now. Online is not working. Loved this game with that feature. We were able to play with live players. What happened???? Is this permanent.
Only thing we dont like is when it freezes a game and counts as a loss ugggg especially when you are winning.

Hard to believe our partner can be such a bad player. We get beat most of the time because they dont lay down cards but constantly freeze the deck waiting for the big haul. Meanwhile Im down to one card and am helpless to do anything. We play offline. Now the app itself is freezing up on us. We have been playing canasta since we were a youngster. We come from a very large family of canasta players. All of the second generation of canasta players in our very large family have passed on the passion of canasta to our children and their spouses and who now have passed the love for this game to the great grandchildren of the first person that Im aware that started this tradition of playing, our FATHER, NOW DECEASED. THANK YOU DAD FOR TEACHING US THIS GAME, which we can now play on our iPads. Love, love, love this game.

We enjoy playing but hate that when computer picks up it lays down 2 face cards with a wild you have to have 2 in hand and pick up the pile that is 3 face cards not 2 with a wild.
The game had a mind of its own sometimes. Very frustrating! You end up losing because it says you left game when you did not. Ugh.
Ive been playing canasta on this app for several years. We dont enjoy it as much being able to only draw one card at a time.
Even after the bug fixes the game is still glitchy. The animation is SO slow.
Another update Its been years since the major interface update that gave our phone psychic powers when playing offline, and it still has psychic powers. The AI player to our right ALWAYS knows whats in our hand and doesnt throw off. Maybe one day the balance will return. – update ends. Firstly, this is a big improvement on the previous interface, which was already great however there are some issues: Rules: – red 3 should deduct from final score if no canasta, currently they just dont add – no meld or stack should be able to have equal wilds as real cards, should always be at least one less Gameplay: – the computer seems to know what is in your hand, or somehow it knows whats in its partners hand and does the probability maths. Our discard pickup rate is approx 1:10 (maybe worse) against computer. Ive had the computer opponent throw 8 wilds in a row when it had an almost full hand we had a full hand of pairs, 5 different pairs but the computer didnt throw any of those cards, and its like this most games. Something isnt right. No human player is that lucky. <edit Sept 1st, 2019> Can you please check the code to make sure that the skill levels of the partners match the skill level of the opposition? Im also convinced that a top level partner only has the skill of a mid-level opponent. We play with both on highest skill level and our partner does some dumb things – the opposing team always play brilliantly. We guess it could also be that the computer struggles to analyze our gameplay and adapt however Im constantly frustrated by the partner gameplay. <edit April 14, 2021> important note – we only play offline, 4 player Well Im pleased to say that partner skill level has increased. Im not pleased to say that opponent ability to see through our cards has also increased. The ability to almost never throw something we have in our hand until we are down to single digits in the pickup pile is uncanny, and truly spoils the experience. We like a challenge but to lose so many games due to never getting a discard pile is annoying. It really does feel like theres a leak in the code that lets the opponents know what is in ours and our partners hand. We were hoping that this could be fixed and some of the opponent code from the old version integrated to balance the table. However we keep playing this version because we like the challenge and all the other apps Ive tried are too easy to beat.
Since you have added the advertisements we keep getting kicked out of games because of them! Our team is winning and then an ad comes up after deal and gets stuck and we have no other recourse but to leave! Take out the ads until after a game or Im gone! We use to enjoy your game- NO MORE! We gave a 2 just to be nice.

Fun game but when playing online the game closes if Im winning, very frustrating rarely finishing a game! Thats why Im only giving this game three stars.
We almost created a miniature Chernobyl playing this thats all.
This version shows it is computer generated. Instead of playing to help partner, sandbagging takes place. So it helps you practice, but not improve your game.
Fix the card distribution, hands with 20 draws and not one wild card.
We love playing this game but the ads have become ridiculous you cant even log into the game without an ad popping up. Ads after every hand and then those are getting stuck and you cant move beyond them causing us to have to force close the app and lose our game and bring our stats down.
We dont mind an ad here and there but it seems the developers are not testing their ads to see how long they are and if a player can end the ad. There are ads where the x is white on white so you cant see it. There are ads where they have errors but no x so it just toggles you from page to page and never ends. There is an ad called Junes journey with a black x but the x doesnt work. We have to leave our game several times when these bad ads come up – not fun.
Wouldnt let us meld, stating we didnt have enough meld points. We had 220 meld points; only needed 120. It lets the robot player pick up the pile while holding only one card but tells us we have to have at least two cards to pick up. Suddenly the robot players seem to have the advantage of cheating in almost every hand. They can meld counting red threes; ours are never counted in. Whats happened? This used to be an enjoyable game; now its just becoming frustrating.
