Community Insight:
Gameplay loop is simple enough and engaging. Our only question to the devs would be – Is the red knight a paid enemy? He just kinda runs at you and says you won and its a bit confusing lol.
Dreamed of this exact game and finally found it. Casual game with good strategy. We hope this game gets updated regularly.
Reminds us of Slay the Spire but simplified visually, which we love so much. The graphics are so charming. We like how clean everything is- nothing is too busy or flashy. We played for over an hour after first downloading. Definitely have already recommended this game to some friends :).
Easy to learn, complex enough to be interesting.
Love the old school dungeon crawler feel and nostalgic graphics, plus the battle system with cards.
Was skeptical of the free download, and Im only into the first dungeon (+tutorial), but this game is a good time.
We enjoy playing it but we wish there were a few more features and some depth. The UI could also be improved but all in all the loop and the rng are solid.
Holy underrated we hate how unpopular this is.
This game is super fun! We downloaded it on a whim and love everything about it, from the art style to the game play its very enjoyable and we highly recommend it.
This is a great game to relax or pass the time. Nothing complicated. No vip sign ups! No daily challenges. Just simple old school dungeon crawling that is enjoyable.
Only complaint is there are no settings. We would just like to adjust the background music.
The card game mechanics of this app are so GOOD and SATISFYING and make us want to TAKE NOTES and research combos and the soundtrack is fantastic we are genuinely embarrassed at the amount of money we have wasted on measurably garbage games over the years when we could have been saving it to fund more of this.
Loved the game! The mechanics, style and abilities were great! After beating it as much as we could, we really wish there was more game to it. Or another version. We were sad we completed it all and it was over.
Love the art style, different starting characters, and unique twists to the genre. Well worth the download and play time! We love the unlock feature and the characters locked behind achievements! Our only critique is we feel like there should be more to do once completing the available floors. Consider more worlds with different enemies, new items for your deck, and different bosses. Either add on to the current run or have the option to start over on these worlds.
Really loving it. Great game. You can pay if you dont like to wait for progression rewards.
Friggin awesome. Fun, challenging, nearly bug-less.
This is one of the best games Ive ever played, its so addictive! We really wish the developer would return for updates, Id pay outright for a sequel. Its our first rougelike/light experience and we think theres a lot here to chew on. We recommended to our gf who has no experience with this kind of game and shes hooked too! Please consider revisiting this gem of a game.
It is a fun game that doesnt force you to buy anything or watch any ads.
This seemingly simple little game has become an endless source of excitement for us. Its one of the only games Ive ever come across that truly requires strategy, forward planning, and a decent memory. Multiple different character classes to choose from, all with their own special traits, and each class adds specific bonus effects to certain card categories. There are no ads and there is no need to ever make an in app purchase. After a week or so of playing and paying attention, youll be able to figure out how to easily unlock all the characters so just stick with it. If the developer is reading this, we have two small suggestions that in our opinion would make the game even more well rounded. 1. When opening a chest sometimes we want both cars options, but have to only choose one. If there was an option to spend extra gold coins to buy the second card it would be an interesting feature. 2. Could you pretty pretty please possibly add a feature that allows players to double the speed of the enemy turns? Sometimes we try to squeeze in a few quick levels on our work breaks and we would be able to play through levels a little quicker with a feature like this. Overall we would recommend this game to literally anyone who wants to pass time with a fun but challenging free game. Hoping to see more from this developer in the future.
Our topic line pretty much says it all. We found this game because we were looking for a mobile game similar to Slay the Spire, and this is what we found. What we wasnt expecting was A/V design, exploration, and level-up mechanics that called back to playing the The Legend of Zelda and the original Final Fantasy on the NES. Consider this a First Impression rather than a full review as we havent been playing very long at all. But as far as first impressions go, Im really loving this game.
The developers of this game are pretty genius. The combination of dungeon crawler and deck building keeps the game so entertaining. Love this game.
This is a bit like Dream Quest with increasingly large decks and multiple classes. We love it already. We took a break from all the game management of Siralim Ultimate and feel like we have our brain back for a moment. The graphics are uber-simple and that worried us about the gaming experience but oh man oh man does someone who loves gaming have this all put together. YOU CAN EVEN ASCEND FLOORS! (tears of joy) we cant wait to try the other classes. We will probably just unlock them, but will still pay for everything at the end. Take it from someone who has played video games for over 45 years: this game has a great excitement factor. While the movement may appear clunky, we prefer that it animates as is to look like a newly dug up, good old-fashioned game. This has been a fun hour so far. Thank you so much.
So far nothing needs to be bought only earned, really like that in these games gives us a challenge plus its nice for broke bois like us.
It is so incredibly rare to find a truly engaging and fun mobile game that isnt pay to win these days. This on does have in-app purchases ($2.99 to unlock every character right away), but you can also earn each character through in game achievements. It is challenging, but with enough different stackable builds to be fun. Its a great deck builder and we highly recommend.
This game is addicting!!!! Our hand started hurting from playing so much. We just wish there were even more cards, characters, levels, and enemies.
This may just be us playing it too much, but there is a poor amount of different cards and alters, and we find ourselves running the same two kinds of decks ( heavily defensive with Theasourus and metalisize or trying to find and abuse the Horcrux). We know the team is small and this isnt the prioritized game, but we love it. Please some updates to the amount of the game would be appreciated by all. Love the game.
We really enjoyed this game. We were searching for fun new mobile games and saw this one. We finally downloaded it and played to check it out. To our surprise it was a lot more fun than we imagined. The run through of the dungeons was smooth, collecting cards or rejecting them was cool. We enjoyed that there are merchants. The combat was super fun, it was simple, and the bosses did provide a challenge, even some rooms could be challenging at times. We do wish there was a way to retreat from combat and we want more! We completed the dungeon fully and we would like to see new levels added, or maybe a secondary dungeon; furthermore, it would be cool to one day have a story mode, not only involving completing the dungeon, but also have side quests.
We just got the royal character, Ive played an awful lot of this game, or just too much in general. We adore it. Its great.
Basically the best time passer game that u could ask for when ur bored, a simple cool rpg game amazing.
This game is fun and addicting. We just was wondering what the glory levels do. We cant find that information anywhere.
Its good off-line game really nice easy to grind on really fun.
Highly addictive and challenging. Nothing bad to say. But how do we mute the game.
Everything you could hope for in a mobile rpg. Absolutely fantastic, thank you developers for this masterpiece. Hope you're having a wonderful day :).
First game Ive written a review on in years – this one is right up our alley, very well developed. Lots of fun, thank you :).
Been having a blast unlocking all the characters and discovering new cars combos.
WHY we LIKE THIS GAME: instantly addictive, highly bingeable, limitless replayability fairly priced, no pay-to-win micro-transactions, no in-game ads easy to learn, but hard to master – difficulty increases logically fun and challenging (but not impossible) combat encounters gameplay provides tons of ways to use action economy several diverse classes offer different ways to play extra classes can be earned by achievement or purchased cool magic items that are fun to experiment with experience a different dungeon every time you play can easily play for 5 minutes or 5 hours *no NPC dialogue screens to read through – it's just combat!! COMMENTS: Probably the best mobile game we've bought in a really long time. We knew after 5 minutes of playing that we would love it, and we totally do. We're trying to resist buying the extra classes (even though it's only a couple bucks) so we can try to earn them with the in-game challenges. Either way there are no paid features that you can't earn for free through gameplay/achievement. We won't buy any mobile game that offers P2W/recurring micro-transactions, and this one doesn't, so huge thanks to the developers for not including these scams in their game. DOWNSIDE(?): our only complaint would be that if playing on an iPad, you have to hold in portrait orientation….we would like to have the option to rotate display to be able to use it in landscape orientation. BOTTOM LINE: highly recommend you buy this game right now.
We got this game a long time ago, in addition to a bunch of other text adventure and old classy style games (idk why we love them, it wasnt even like our childhood or anything we just love the simplicity and style of the games). However this one stood out significantly as a really good game, and became our favorite mobile game pretty quickly. Fast forward to a week and a half ago, got our best friend into the game and now hes addicted too. We cannot state how amazing this game is, and we mean its free. Like you cant get much better than that for value. Small bug we found, is when you play the card that says the next one does double damage, it only applies to cards already in your hand so if you play that card that drew in its spot then it does normal damage. And thats our only negative thing to say about the game. A tiny bug.
Theres a little learning curve but not a hard one. Chance plays a big part of building your deck which helps force experimentation. Fun definitely worth a try.

If you want easy wins go for the statue that lets you save energy between turns and get a psychic blast, literally insta killed everything on floor ten after waiting 2 turns.
Very little time played, but it seems shallow with some tactics and a clunky dungeon map. Exactly what downloaded it for.
This is a really solid deck builder with multiple classes and interesting combos. Download it if you are a fan of deckbuilding roguelikes or roguelikes in general. Some critiques: we would love to see even more content in this game and some added options would be nice. Specifically an option to quicken walking and especially fighting animations which can become somewhat tedious to watch after a while. Breaking pots can also be a bit tedious, because if you want to play optimally you really should be breaking every pot on the floor as it will more than likely add up to a good amount of gold over the course of a run. It could be good to add something that makes doing this feel like less of a chore? Maybe add some risk/reward to it, such as potential enemy encounters or traps/curses but also greater loot incentive. Overall this is a great game and for the price of free its 100% worth your time. The above criticisms are only because we would love to see this game become even better. Its closer to 5 stars than 4.
This is a great game, its a little bit finicky and has its problems, but it has fun gameplay and interesting strategy. We would recommend this to anyone looking for a cute little rouge like.
This game is great the idea is fun and the gameplay is very addictive. There are a few UI things that could be changed to help the player and movement could be easier to control but this game is exactly what it says it is and it is a bunch of fun for it.
Super cool game. Fun to play and completely free, everything can be unlocked in-game with no payment on your part. No ads either, class move by the developers.
You buy cards in this game but only four are available at a time and you dont get to choose which ones so you could go into battle with the worst possible cards. We have found no way to regain health except to play healing cards during a battle so you might have to go into battle with very low health against tough monsters and have to hope you have healing or shield cards available. And playing those cards can give the monsters cute chance to summon more enemies or grow stronger. This is such a huge disadvantage that we lost interest on the game.
This game was fun at first, but it has a major balancing issue. Early on, there are enemies that, on each turn, spawn another copy of that enemy. This makes these encounters nearly impossible for someone on the first few floors, and it lost the fun quickly.
Found the gave very easy we think we beat it on only our 3rd run. And didnt see any reason to replay.
Fun game until you attempt a 2nd play through with any class, then the game is completely unbalanced. Even at level 1 the enemies are far too strong and too many for any class that starts with 4/5 energy and just sword and shield attacks. Youre lucky to make it half way through the 2nd level.
Not a bad game, but we got stuck with infinitely multiplying grey Minotaurs because you cant kill them fast enough on our very first run though.
