Card Game 29 is a famous round-winning (or trick-taking) card game played with a deck of 32 cards. It is a descendant of the Jass family of games from the Netherlands and brought to the subcontinent in the 18th Century by Dutch traders.

Key Features of 29 Card Game

It is played with J, 9, A, 10, K, Q, 8, 7 from each suit. Hence there are 32 cards in the game.
The points of each card are: J (3 points), 9 (2), A (1), 10 (1) and K, Q, 8, 7 have 0 points each.
There are 3+2+1+1 = 7 points in each suit, hence a total of 7 x 4 = 28 points. There is an optional additional point for winning the last hand, taking the total to 29.

The game is played by four players in two teams (alternate players form a team), with each player receiving a hand of 8 cards.

The aim of the game is to win rounds (or tricks) and score points, with the highest card in each round winning all four cards of that round. The objective is to win a set by reaching 6 red points (or pushing the opponents to 6 black points).

How to play?
Engage in exciting gameplay as you challenge your skills against the AI in offline mode. It is the best card game for excellent brain exercise, a puzzle for short, fast-paced games that require a mix of strategy, skill, and partner chemistry to win

Bid the points between 16 and 29.

If you win the bid, set the trump card to bias the game towards your team.

In each round, the highest card of the first player’s suit wins all the cards, unless another player has trumped it.

Play all the eight rounds and try to win the points you bid for.

Play on multiple games to get +6 in the set score card to win the set.

Too many advertisements after upgrade. Almost after every game see an advertisement. Just deleted the app. Unbearable.

We want to attach an image, where the hand our partner won was wrongly given to opponent.

Our partner plays dumb some times. This can be improved. Partner holds up the points towards till the end rather than unloading them when we put a winning card.

We used to play 29 quite a lot in our college days. This app is okay with some predictable bugs. The AI can improve little bit. A good feature will be to add online game support where we can play with other players.

Why there is no option for Online multiplayer in iphone, like android.

Marriage doesnt work 80% of the time. Partner is dumb.

It started working after it was down for almost 1 month.

We like playing this game however would really like the ability to play with friends. We should be able to see the winning number of hands all time rather than only when its our turn. If you improve AI it will be more compelling. Also add more lifetime challenges or bring in weekly challenges and rewards.

The interface is very good, clean, not clumsy. There is an area of improvement of AI, but as 29 is mind game, expectation will vary person to person. We think couple of features would have been better: 1. View last hand, as this we do for normal play 2. Skip / wait functionality for Double / single hand. Depending on cards we have, sometimes static wait time is too slow or too fast.

The app works well. However it should have the option to skip if you have already reached the bet.there should be an option to check the last hand too.

We have enjoyed this game very much. But there are few bugs in this game. 1. Marriage is working in many cases. We got benefit of marriage in 30%-40% cases. 2. Partner is not cooperative in many cases. Many times trump on our board. This is applicable for other players also. 3. If you can add online playing facility it with be more enjoyable l.

Completely bogus. Totally scripted. Sometimes its totally predictable what will be the cards the players will get. Marriage doesnt work sometimes for unknown reason. Neat app but frustrating level 99%.

You guys need to fix the problem of The Pair . It suppose to add or subtract 4 numbers when you or opponents has the pair.

After long got a good 29 card game. Really its an amazing game. Hats of to the Dev. Keep it up guys.

After the new release, the graphics doesnt load and it crashes. Please provide a fix. Its on our iphone7.

We were enjoying this game but after last update it crashes and doesnt open on iPhone xs.

It is really nice game. Graphics is really good. Marriage feat isnt working sometimes, partner is not as cooperative as us. Sometimes, he does trump on our board unnecessarily. If you make those improvements and allow people play online, it will be awesome game.

We had marriage in trump and it did not reduce our bid. Also our partner did not trump or over trump when necessary.

Skip options must b added 1. After gaining necessary points, 2. Double, 3. Single hand playing! Bidding process might b little faster! Without these improvements this game is creepy.

Sometimes marriage doesnt count! we played color and opponent gave different card. But later he trumped! Partner never plays color though he have a lot of colors and he set color! If we set the color, partner should play a color card after he does trump if the bid is really high.

Shouldnt the last have have a point? Something seems to be off about the king and queen, it works sometimes and not sometimes, cant put our finger on it.

Very neat app, opponent strategy is advanced level. We hope the opponent doesn't cheat by knowing their cards :).

This one is done very nicely. Graphics is clean and easy on eye. Two missing features – 1. Add joker as trump 2. Make it online play with others. We'll gladly pay for it if an online play version is released.

Excellent simulation of 29, includes all the features except the fact that marriage feat isnt counted sometimes.
