The ui is incredibly clean and makes navigating the app a breeze. It is so much fun building and cataloging decks.

The is a feature where you can export your decklist to text. However, it doesnt work. It adds a bunch of percentage symbols and other random characters. Maybe this feature is paywalled? Im not sure, but its super inconvenient.

We’ve used the app for like 3-4 years and recently when we try to copy a deck it sends us to the premium plan page. Is this a bug or is copying decks now only a paid for thing?

Only thing its missing is a slider to increase/decrease the card image size when viewing your decks.

Wants you to create an account to even use. Automatic non-starter for us.

The scanner is hit or miss. It sometimes thinks a normal card is an extended art, a complete other card, or just will not scan in at all. Despite the card being in clear, plain view of the camera these issues persist. Another gripe is it does not scan in Japanese treated cards, so we assume it does not recognize other language cards either. Subscribing to premium does nothing for the accuracy of the scanner so the auto mode is essentially useless due to the above issues. It isnt really auto if we have to babysit the app to make sure it gets the right card, or baby sit the cards to make sure it is at the exact angle the app wants in order to get a scan, even though the entirety of the card is clear and visible. And if you have to do both of these things it is 100% not auto. When it works as it should it is great. But it does not consistently work as it should so it is bad. The scanner, and app as a whole could use improvement. We will not be continuing to use this app and we recommend you avoid it as well.

The loading time is sometimes pretty long for searching cards. Im not sure why its like that, but it will take longer than you think. Also, the search will not work even if you typed in the right name correctly if you open the app immediately into a deck, you would have to leave the deck and rejoin to get the search to work. Second we’ve found that it will randomly not have cards even if they are already out. Ex) Whisper of the Dross.

Honestly the only things we wish the app could do is have a search function that allowed for boarder-less or extended art as well as have all the various printings. Seems like a few are missing, it seems minor but would make the app perfect in our eyes.

Usually love this app but we are a couple weeks post pre release and we cant scan or search for like a third of our cards from the ONE set.

The app is very up to date and helps with keeping track of all our cards as well as the different format legalities. We do wish though that they would add in some way to filter your inventory other than the starts with filter.

Great app! Only recommendation is if we could click on a card in our inventory and it would give us a little note that says WHICH deck the card is in – we all have many, many decks! Oh, and of our Android buddies want it!

Would you please add the price of tix and more Magic online support?

We put in hundreds of cards and now it fails to open.

Good interface, its been working for now.

Love the app Would love to see added to the stats feature is average CMC for the deck.

We used MTG goldfish but it would take so long to manually enter every card. The scanning with this app is incredible. Very quick and intuitive. We love the UI and being able to scroll through our collection. It would be nice if when you scan into a deck it would automatically go into your general inventory. But maybe have a symbol notifying you its in a certain deck, that way you dont think its available but can still see the value of your entire collection. We also wish we could filter our inventory the same way you can in the card search feature. Trying to build a deck with cards we already own would be made much easier! Great work!

The app has a lot of good features at the free version for sure. The card scan feature is nice, but it does have issues with some older frame cards and the occasional artifact, though recently it seems to have improved. In addition, adding cards manually has been made much faster. One thing that stands out to us is that it appears some subtypes may be missing from the search feature. The only one that we stumbled upon was Dog not showing up in app, but we dont know if there are others. We can still search for dog cards by name though. Other than that, Im enjoying all the features and look forward to future improvements.

Bulk scanning requires you to either wait for a toast animation to fade out, or for you to dismiss it. This means scanning a thousand cards is not going to bring joy here.

Only thing is it needs more search options like color, set, type, etc.

It’s a good app. It’s not as user friendly when you don’t get the full application, but still really worth it. Very easy to use and gets so much value.

Sampling draws, playing them, tap and untapping, everything we needed for something related to Magic.

This is an amazing app, and Id probably give it 5 stars if not for 2 things that are incredibly annoying for us right now: 1) Theres no way to select multiple cards at one. We cant go through our inventory and delete Numerous cards we just sold. Nor can we delete them ALL so we can go through our collection and make sure we dont accidentally add a second/fifth copy of a card that we dont own 2) we can use so many filters when using the search page, but when trying to look through our cards, we can ONLY use the name, and have to use EXACTLY its name, not the part we remember! They could just add a filter in the search about owned/not cards!

The app is pretty good minus a couple annoying user interface decisions like making new rows when adding to deck lists. Also when you export a decklist it isnt sorted at all (ex. Creatures then spells them lands etc.) so when you are trying to look at an exported list its all jumbled up and hard to read. That being said the biggest thing is the paywalls, $5 a month or $50 per year just to get a few features seems incredibly pricey when there are other apps that do the same thing for free. If the app was a one time $5 or something we could get behind it, but we dont keep track of our collections or decks enough to warrant a monthly subscription to something like that.

This is by far the best overall app in appearance and function for managing your MTG collection. Love it!

This app is banging. We love and use it all the time. Perfect for us and our friends.

Downloaded this app as a replacement for the previous DeckForger app, which we very much liked. We quickly forgot all about Deckforger. This is a fantastic and easy to use app that is perfect for constructing decks, be they traditional 60 card builds or 100 card EDH format. Its fast, fluid and intuitive to either build from scratch or import an already existing deck for tinkering. Little touches and flourishes abound, and are a marked improvement over the already well implemented Deckforger. With an interface thats promised to become ever more streamlined in future updates, coupled with a polished and inclusive UI, this will only improve yet more over time. We cannot recommend this app enough for those with a passion for deck building.

We really like cascade and we moved from Deckforger to cascade. We have only a few problems with it though. 1, can you add a play tester to it because we wanna test our decks. 2, can you please add easier inventory searching because we have to look for every card we want to add to a deck, instead of scrolling endlessly can you add a filter like the other card searches in cascade? Other then all that we love the game and one question: why is it that we contact you if we know anyone playing under 14 (or 13)?

Nice design and good features. We like that you can set a commander in your commander decks and the maybeboard feature. There is no support for dark mode so you cannot use the application when your phone is in dark mode – the text shows up dark on a black background. EDIT: Thank you for the response and we’ve updated our review to a 5/5! Dark mode was added so no complaints here.

Im not gonna go deep into various detail because it looks like the review from seems good so far covered a lot of crucial points. We think the list that you can follow it is pretty cool with the fetches in the shocks and etc. A big problem we see is we dont see a way to copy your decks. You had it on the referring app but you dont seem to have it on this app. So we finish transferring all our decks over to cascade and then when we went to copy them to put them online, no option. And the auto populate should populate all things with that word not just with that word as the first word in the cards name. And inability to copy our decks or the deck copying auto including the set without it being optional we’ve always been the reasons why we dont stick with MTG apps. We also noticed on your break down section of the deck the card type wheel being various tones of green becomes difficult for color blind people. And we find that there is not enough contrast in the the top header buttons that sometimes we have to squint or stare to differentiate. Otherwise we think youve got a kill around before we realize the copy deck list problem we had already decided that this would be our primary deck building for storage MTG app for our phone. Those few things mentioned and we think you have it for five star app Edit: when we said copy deck our meaning was to copy our deck list to share or to put on a clipboard with an optional annotation of set. The same as how we could share from deck forger to cascade.

One of our favorite things to do is to be able to share our deck list. You guys need to add a way to be able to share the cardlist/export it as a text file. You should also add a feature to sort decks by different types.

This app is pretty good for what it is, but there are a few things we think should be changed. First, when sorting by color, it should be listed in WUBRG order instead of alphabetically. Most magic players sort by WUBRG, and it would be more intuitive this way. Second, we think a card should be able to be added to a deck or list in a quantity of 0. This way, if you dont have all of the cards of a certain list, you can still represent them. Third, and this is probably harder to implement, but it would be great if you could sort cards by collector number. All of these are minor nitpicks, the app hasnt crashed on us, and the finance aspect of the app is flawless. These are just some gripes of a collector.

We had a very hard time getting the scanner to consistently recognize cards. Very spotty if they were in a binder page, but we also had a surprising amount of trouble with Un sleeves cards. Nice design, so we hope theyre able to make progress on the recognition.
