We’ve played this for years now and have restarted several times. Great replay value. Strategy is needed and must be adjusted at times to beat a level. We have never purchased anything in-app and have had a blast. You who 1 star this because you have run out of gems? Learn how to play the game.
It Crashes every time we try to open it after the new update. We have a first generation ipad.
Great game! Needs to be updated for iOS 11 though.
On the third level of game, we believe the 5 wave of enemy’s to warg creatures come out and then it freezes and shuts off, would give it 5 fix issue , we tried over 7 times.
This is a great game, lots of fun. For the most part it is pretty simple and super easy to play, although the game is not without it’s challenges. But now to the "could be better" part. The main improvement we would like to see is both an expansion to tower variety as well as map size. The maps are relatively small as well as have very few places to build towers (part of the need for strategic placement no doubt) and that is all well and good but sometime we like to have a large map with alot of towers for the sake of entertainment. That would be perfect in combo with the endless wave game type (which already exists in the game) all in all a fun game but it has its limits.
Game is well made and very addicting. You can play for hours and hours! However, they bait you to pay very expensive amounts for small gains in the game. Ye be warned.
Mission 11 is literally unbeatable.
Fun but ripoff of Kingdom Rush!! Which in our opinion is a much better game.

We bought on the first Castle Defense. We bought 3000 gems for $2.99 and it keeps getting stuck on the loading screen. We’ve closed and reopened the app multiple times and still gets stuck. We’ve emailed the developer, got one response and after we sent photos of the payment, never got a reply. Smh thieves.
The game is good we used to play it on our phone. But since our phone acts up we decided to get it on our iPod now that we have it the app wont load to the game which makes us mad and sad because the game is fun hope the app gets fixed.
We love this game but cannot play it due to it not being updated.
One of the better tower defense games on IOS. Too bad the developer left it behind and wont update it to run on IOS 11.
It really needs an update so we can play it again so it can work on iOS 11.

Played game and loved it. Did promos for downloading and playing other apps with a promise of free crystals. Nothing! Wrote to support for help and still did nothing.
Fun game but keeps crashing so it gets 1 star.
Forces you to eventually have to buy gems to progress. And even if you do, there is a chance when upgrading warriors that your upgrade won’t work and your gems will still be consumed. The game is great, but truly impossible to progress unless you either buy gems or replay levels 35-40 times to get enough gems to beat the next level. So our rating is one star. A complete waste of time. The developers are horrid and we hope they read this. Thanks for ruining our experience.
Stuck and don’t have enough gems to upgrade.
We spent 15 on in game items and the game took our money but we never got our items! Don’t play game.
It’s a scam. They lie!!!! It is not the best game…go download GAW Galaxy At War you’re better off playing that we promise.
Beware, you need crystals to upgrade stuff- these are sparse unless you pay money or try for free rewards which do not show up. Very disappointing.

Im using ios version 7.1.2 and when you reach level 6 the game crashes! This hasnt been fixed yet.
Love the game, low level addictive, but now we cant play. Ill obv wait til this is fixed, what else can we do, but its an offline game, is our progress lost forever.
We tried downloading the app again but it still doesn’t get past the load screen.

One of, if not the most enjoyable tower defense games we have played (and we have played a lot). Tons of different upgrades to choose from, the game is very challenging yet beatable without having to purchase in app buys. Though with as well as the game is designed the designers probably deserve a little $$$ thrown their way. You’re only hurting yourself by not downloading this game if you are a tower defense lover.
This app is worth every penny. It is so addictive and fun. One of the best tower defense games you’ll find. It is hard but that makes it fun, for a challenge.

We don’t understand all the hate out there. Those who say it’s too difficult and are forced to buy IAP are simply wrong. Yes it’s difficult but it has kept our interest long enough to go through it once without buying anything and now we’re working on hard mode… The only complaint we have is he bugs, input user name, warrior, etc.. Great game keep them coming.
Keep having issues, can’t do endless mode or any of the online stuff. Keeps saying input user name and then doesn’t give us an option to? Idk how to fix it :/.

Good, long, fun game except that we can’t play endless or arena mode. We just get a box that pops up and says input your name, with no option to input anything.
Stupid game killed our pet fish by lighting it on fire.

The developer is greedy and wants every one to spent even to win second stage. Get some better games to spent your time.
Go buy and play kingdom Rush a much better game. This game copies everything looks and all from it.
