Dont get us wrong its a great game. But you have to buy speedup tokens so you can skip the 15 hour wait which is very annoying. If you could fix the problem that would be very much appreciated.
We have been playing this game ever since it came out. Love being able to build teams with players from different eras.
We have been playing this game every day since we downloaded it and it has been fun, we havent had any issues until today as we cannot open the game. Every time we try it just stays on the loading screen. If we can get this fixed our rating will go to 5*, but until then we cant give an unplayable game no matter how enjoyable it was a full rating.
We do play every day and have for years. Our issue is that to collect your ultimates it gets very expensive. We needed Pedros Martinez special edition card to complete his ultimate as an example. We had to collect 48 cards before getting it. We also needed his legend card at the same time. Had to collect 47 cards for that. We have spent close to $1000 in this game, and have only 4 tier 5 ultimate players to show for it. All that money has been spent on coins. It should be set up like football where you can purchase the cards you want for a couple extra coins each.
Just downloaded, cant even get past signing in!! Keeps saying loading for almost 10 minutes.
As soon as we get in the game its just stuck on a loading screen for 30 minutes.
The game is cool but crashes way too often. Even after bug patches some logins of ours are unplayable. And the first couple season in the game are WAY to hard, like how does a 3.0+ 3.0+ lose to a 1.0 1.0 team so badly that doesnt make much sense.

Too many glitches to list. Stat glitches, display glitches, freeze glitches. Whats worse, when you contact support, they either ignore the message or make excuses and theyre working on it. Things have been broken for months (probably longer).
We accidentally logged out and now it wont let us sign in linking our Facebook account, this is unacceptable pls respond.
Have 10 coins ready to rock but every time we hit the event pack button the game crashes.
Do you enjoy cruising along the interstate only to come up on standstill traffic? This game is for you. Do you enjoy waiting in the longest and slowest checkout aisle in a store? Then this game is for you. Having success a few seasons in a row? You will get throttled. Spend some money to help your cause? Doesnt help. This game will frustrate like no other. Meet two out of five challenges in a season with ease, but make you go repeat the season multiple times (ten or more frustrating seasons is not unheard of) to achieve a goal. We started each of the other franchise leagues AFTER starting baseball, football by six weeks, but have already surpassed our baseball team by dozens of seasons. If we havent invested so much money into it already we wouldve quit months ago.
Game is a rip off! 15 hours to finish a league and you have to wait to level 100 to get legends players?? Get real! Thats 1500 hours of time to wait unless you pay 7.00 for 3 skips. Garbage.
Back to working now. Wonderful game. Love the concept.
Fun game but unlike all the other games our login never saves on the app and we have to log back in each time which loads about 50% of the time only.
Very good and we have 1 question? We bought 32 million bucks but how do we get the money. We bought it for 185 coins. Please tell us how?

The worst of the series, by a wide margin. Game is dramatically over-complicated, yet your decisions dont make a difference. Shifting batting order doesnt help. Changing the playbook doesnt help. Season tasks are so wildly specific (I.e. Your second baseman must hit 40 RBIs) that you get stuck infinitely, without a way to improve. Expect to take five-plus seasons to advance for every one season the other games take. The only game of the franchise Im close to deleting.
Fun game, but we wish there was some actual gameplay.
Lots of variety and levels. We dont understand the Equipment function and how it works. Im enjoying it.
We’ve been playing this game for about 6 months and have played it every day since downloading it. We’ve made a few purchases and didnt receive them, but the CBS Interactive staff were so cooperative and fixed this problem for us within in hour of emailing them. We dont know if this glitch is fixed because we havent bought anything in a bit. You definitely dont need to buy anything to play the game but it is very beneficial for your team. We encourage all to download and play this app. 5/5 Stars!

We’ve played CBS franchise games (FB, BB & BskB) for a long time. We quit playing a few years ago as we did not like the direction the games were going. We tried again in 2018, did not care for it. 2020 brings a new version of the game. Looks & acts exactly like the 2018 game. But we were still willing to try it out. Our 2018 team is still there, cant delete it or start over. Customer support confirms that we cant start over. They say we HAVE to create a new account with CBS or Facebook. Aint gonna happen. This game has been going downhill for a while now and without the opportunity to try it from scratch. We will never know if theres any improvement.
Its a fun game that you can play and it does not take up a lot of your time.
It would be nice if earning a franchise coin wasnt so hard, and if there was events like the other sports. But aside from that its both entertaining and interesting play. Good mix of players and challenges.
Love playing this game but now we cannot because it logged us out and when we try to log back in via Facebook we get an error message. Please fix!!! UPDATE: Now fixed, thank you!

Who gives this only a one star who the hell does that this is the best game ever for franchise baseball we love baseball which makes us like this game.
This game is actually really fun and feels somewhat like a real general manager simulation. The training is very realistic as well as other aspects of obtaining new players. The two things Id like to see changed though is the time between new seasons 16 hours seems a little excessive to us especially for someone who would play this game non-stop if we didnt have to wait so long. Also, the prices of obtaining new players gets pretty expensive pretty fast maybe just lower the cost of player packs.
Some of the aspects of the game just dont work how they should Like they do in the other franchise games. They dont show who the equipment is available for so you have to look into every player to see who has it. The goals like qualify for playoffs dont work either. We have been in the franchise finals and according to the goal we still didnt qualify for the playoffs.
The app itself is set up well, but the mechanics of simming games is just broken in our opinion. When its based on ratings and we constantly struggle to compete in leagues unless we buy higher cards. The checklist to advance leagues is broken on ours where certain tasks wont advance through games. This app has been frustrating more than fun. Maybe next years model.
We’ve played the football and basketball versions and both games are fun and the challenges are reasonable to advance… Then theres the baseball version. The algorithm this game uses is completely flawed. Our teams lineup is far superior to anyone we play, and most players are fully trained and equipped. With that being said every season we still lose half our games to opponents with lineups not even remotely close to as stacked as ours. We could reason with a loss here or there, but its always half the games at least and some in absolute comical fashion. Just today we were beaten in a series where we scored 2 runs total and gave up 56! How is that even somewhat realistic? Just a poor effort overall and certainly a waste of time. Much like consoles, the basketball and football games are alright, but the app for Americas past time? Hard pass and Id advise you to do the same.
This game is by far the worst of all the CBS games. Too many things are out of your hands to make this fun. For instance to progress from a level you must complete certain challenges such as get 60 hits with an outfielder. Unfortunately you cant control the substitution rotation and youll end up with 59 hits because the outfielder closest to 60 will sit 2 out of the last 3 game set. Starting players rarely take off 30% of games. If you enjoy toiling away in frustration without being able to move forward then this game is for you. If youre willing to spend $30-$50 a month to get the best team possible you will probably enjoy this as well. Everyone else should skip this one.
Update: A real baseball sim. Yours isnt. – Not done well at all for our liking.
Need to fix some of the bugs but otherwise fun game!
Started out good, but Im in our first season and the playoffs arent working. We know. We have the football version and it runs fine. Id use the in-app contact, but that just closes the game. Admin, you need to fix this.
Good game! Thanks for the great app. We assume the player image of the catcher for the games cover is Benny DiStefano. Hes the last left handed catcher to play a game in the MLB and that was thirty years ago. We would have used Mike Trout for our cover but to each his own.
Great game. Dont have to spend if you dont want to. Check in twice a day and you can meet all your goals and finish activities. Nice mix of old and current players. We like the older players better so its kinda cool to get a Koufax or or Larson on your team. Leveling up is up to you basically. If you are willing to spend twenty or thirty minutes a day on a game you can make a great team. But trust us, especially in the beginning you wont have any problem devoting more time than that if you want to.
We really enjoy this game. Its fun to pass the time. Its not complicated, easy to read and understand. Its not really something you can play all day because everything is on a timer which restarts every 24 hours. You will probably only check the game once a day and then not have anything to do until the timer resets. But its a lot of fun to build your team and slowly go through each level and series and watch your team grow and get stronger…. Our only complaint… The developers make a new game every year and non of your progress transfers. We played the 2016 & 2017 app games and had to completely start over each time. And here we are starting all over for 2018. This is the last time for us. Even if they make a 2019, and they will, Ill just stick with this one. So if the developers are reading this: PLEASE! Make a game where we can transfer all our progress. Please keep in ours some of us do spend money on games and its frustrating all of that is lost each season.
Love this and the football franchise games would love to see basketball tho.
We like all the franchise games and all have good and bad points but the biggest problem is over charging for upgrades in some cases you could easily pay 20 bucks to upgrade one player which would need it again in a few levels. Its better to charge less and get more people involved For instance instead of selling 3 tokens for 7 dollars and get one in say 25 to buy it sell the same for 1.99 and you may get at least 5 players to buy and you pull in 20 dollars or 3 dollars more. Do this across the board and you may increase sales by a very large amount our suggestion would be to try it across the board on one game say hockey or football 2017 advertise what you are doing tell the people you are comparing it to the others And if it works you will be considering doing it to other franchise games you could also add door prizes during the test period say free upgrades or free men this will encourage people to spend more. Good game but for some reason at least for us, in order to continue to level up we have to spend money to play in the playoffs. We dont want to use $7 every time we go through the playoffs 3 times.
