Im no expert in chess or chess programs but Ive used a half dozen. This player seems to revel in pins or somehow immobilizing the adversary s pieces. Nasty in ways humans cant be with each other. It isnt presented this way but a great mode is to let the game propose the piece forcing you to choose from finite possibilities. Its fun also to back up and see if your idea was more elegant than its. A lot of fun.
We hope this reaches the actual people that put some thought into this game!! Yall knocked it over the fence big time, all the thanks for making a really great app!! Ive played a lot of chess games with the exception of one other chessboard, this game is extremely well designed!! Im so happy yall got this spot on!! This game is super entertaining and cant find a bad thing about it.
This game is good but how do we castle? Our opponent does it all the time?!!! But besides that this game is good if you want challenges or just a normal game of chess.
We never really played chess before but even we understand it now (we have a problem with punctuation).Except for periods apparently.And parenthesis'.Apparently.

We would give this game 5 Stars, except for the rapid closing of the board window when either we, or the computer, wins the Chess Match. It would be really great if the Developer would let the window stay open when the match is completed. We will sometimes win, or loose, a game without knowing exactly what happened, because the Developer closes the window without giving us time to analyze the final move. Other than this, the game is great. Please make this change.
Only problem we have is when we lose, it immediately exits the game. We would like to be able to see how we screwed up. If not for that Id give 5 stars.
We love how the professor gives you suggestions of which piece to move. We just wish he could explain the why? For the suggested moves.
Lowest AI level is very easy, and the progression to more advanced levels is smooth so you dont have to go from a level you can always defeat to the very next level being impossible to defeat. There are some shortcomings: (1) Daily Endings Challenge never opens, (2) no record of the moves is made, (3) occasionally you will not be credited with a win after checkmate, (4) cant adjust the animation speed.
We like the ability to choose the level of difficulty. Areas of improvement Its sort of hard to move a piece. Its hard to see if youre placing it in the right location. Sometimes we leave a piece one square short. It would be nice if it offered to resign once it was clear youd win. You cant review your game after completion. Always says your turn so you have to wait a second to make your move. The ads are ok. Some its not clear how to dismiss.
Cant play the endings challenge for some reason.
Freezes after ad plays.(many times) Deleted. Ratings not accurate.
Terrible app. Dont even think about playing this app while connected to the internet. Ads galore. Deleted.

It is a great app to play chess on. Only problem was that you couldn't play with other players on the web. We would definitely give 5 stars if you could.
For what it is and what it's meant to be, it's pretty good. And even though it's a free app, the ads are pretty minimal. We can definitely recommend this.
The gameplay is ridiculously slow. The pieces move slow, it displays the turn name (not needed and slows the pacing), and the helper system is lacking.
So obvious that a five year old made this. Worst UI, Programming and app EVER. DO NOT download. It's a waste of space if you do (oh and btw 99% all the positive reviews are fake or left by other 1st graders). No smart person or chess player would download this piece of crap. …. Also, do you really think a brand won't see their assets in your app? This is pathetic.
We challenge you to download this app and then read the reviews. This is by far the worst chess app on the market. And copying someone else's logo? Hilarious. This app was built as en elementary school "learn to code" program in 1989. Download for a good chuckle.
Great for practice we play on level finally beat level 8 a while ago.
This game is perfect. Just like chess but for your device. We love the touch and move and pawn upgrade selection interface. The game runs smoothly and doesn't spam ads like most games. You can play off and online too. We definitely suggest u download for hours of fun.
