This is a wonderful app that makes chess both instructive and fun for everyone! Most recommend.
One puzzle was wrong and theres no report bug option. Ask for a hint restarts the entire round which can be annoying.
Chessmatec is one of the very few apps that we keep their ongoing subscription. Our 5 y.o loves to play it! We can tell that he's really enjoys it. It looks like so much fun. He has a subscription since he was 4 y.o and he plays about 2-3 hours a week (spread to several days) and today he's finishing course #4 and still continues to play with great interest and fun. The space adventure seems also to boost the interest, and he practices it a lot. We also want to mention something not obvious – the service / support is really great! We had trouble logging in after an iOS update and we wrote support and they just fixed everything in less than an hour. Thanks again for this positive and exceptional educational experience Zohar.
We have been struggling to find good educational games for kids to play. We have two girls and most kids games have no attention getting ability and have no discernible balance between education and enjoyment. They typically lean heavy into education with little to no enjoyment and require heavy adult interaction. Or, they require little to no adult interaction but rely on over the top tactics that leave very little learning time. This game has done an amazing job at creating this balance. We just got our 7 year old to play through the first three levels and at the end of each level she let out a loud yelp of satisfaction. This is a diamond in the rough for educational games. We do have one request, please create a learn to code game that follows these same strict guidelines because this format is exactly what has been missing from these kids lives. Thank you, Thank you.
We got this app for our son and we never thought he would have this much fun learning to play chess! Absolutely incredible, highly recommend.
Superb app. Very interactive. Our kids love it. It is amazing to observe how their attention is being captured as they have fun while excitedly playing chess. Great for developing cognitive skills in kids. Highly recommend it.
We can not get the app to share with the other iPad. Only one child can play the premium games Tati,e. Now neither of our iPads are showing the premium version.
Tried to sign up but the app not let us subscr.
Our older son enjoys chess and our younger son wanted to learn. After using the demo, we finally gave in and subscribed for 1 month. We dont normally do subscription apps but gave in bc this one had a lot to offer for our younger son. Our big problem is you can only use this app on one device at a time. We have 2 boys and if theyre both trying to use the app, they can kick the other one out of the app. We will not be subscribing for a second month.
We have over 200 usernames and passwords. Requiring an account is a deal killer for us. We would rather just pay you.
Our son had been begging us to teach him chess since he was 2. We have taught him some of the basics, but had struggled to present the material in a way that was intuitive to him. This app has been amazing for him! He is almost 4 now and since he started using the app a couple of months ago his understanding of the game has rapidly improved. But since we can only access the demo mode he cant progress any further. We would happily pay for access to this app, but we have no idea where we can sign a 3 year old up for a chess club. We really hope that access can be made for home use soon.
