Awesome situational assessments and feedback. A great way to improve your game quickly.

Aprend y aumente mi nivel great.

Very helpful for myself as a beginner.

These are like real game problems. You are not sure what type of advantage you might get in the situation that is presented. This gives you practice that you would get in crucial situations in a game.

This app is helpful at what its supposed to do.

First let us say we are about 1/3 of the way thru this app. This app has improved our game fromwood pusher to seeing tactical situations and we expect to continue to improve. We will definitely continue to buy more advanced apps as we improve. However; first of all it needs some text explaining the procedures, charts and numbers though after a week we began to figure it out. (Admittedly Im a senior). Second, when doing combination practices it has several sections oftypes that werent covered in the theory section. So it is frustrating trying to figure out why a move is marked as wrong because it doesnt match what the A.I. Is looking for. Still we would recommend this app for beginners and early intermediates looking to improve their game.

A little hard to follow even after reading entire beginning section. There should be a brief demo of the interface and the steps required.

This app is crazy confusing, has no guide on how to use it, and it makes you dislike chess. We wish we never paid for it.

Great beginner training tool. It gets quite challenging! We loved it so much, we bought the full course.

We have half a dozen chess apps and this one is our favorite. It does a great job explaining the fundamentals of chess: rules, tactics, basic openings and endgame play. The interface is clean and easy to use. The puzzles reinforce the information presented are are quite challenging. The app gives you an elo score based on how your ability to solve the puzzles. Highly recommended!

Great fun learning chess. Lots of positions to teach us what works. Great lessons to help us stay out of a stalemate position.

Great learning tool for becoming a better chess player. The format and layout is well-planned.

We are 1800 USCF and we love the tactics trainer included. It show refutations to errors. The whole thing is first class. We are not sure we agree it’s only for low rated players. Excellent!

We love that it’s so easy to go back and forth between variations , the detailed explanations and refutations of moves. This collection of puzzles and theory reads like a book. You do really feel you’re going through a curriculum of tactics and what you should know in chess before moving to the next level (i.e. Are those 1700 elo problems good for our level or harder /easier ? ) we think this collection used to be called CT-Art . It had an UGLY interface called Peshka that required you to be constantly online to access a server of problems you own. In fact there is another app by Chess King that is called CT-ART, with a different set of tactics. Quite a few other apps like one dedicated to the Sicilian or French . A beautiful easy interface that just makes you want to read more and more. Very , very highly recommended.

It has lots of chess knowledge and it shows refutations to errors. If you have not bought the PC version the price is reasonable. We really expected that after spending a large sum for the PC version the ios version would be free. We really detest inapp purchasing. We really consider it bait and switch. Again though, we think the price is probably fair if more inapp does not get added in the future. Once you buy a full version enhancement should be free. It would be a 5 star if documentation existed.
