Looking for more information? Read a comprehensive review of Chess Tactics Art (1600-1800) below:

We bought the original Chess King years ago as a 2000 rated player and it was magnificent. We plan to go through every available course they have in the App Store. If youre serious about chess improvement, you should too.

We really wanted to like this app because it seems to have a lot of things built into it. Unfortunately, that’s the problem. It’s very sloppy to navigate. It’s never quite clear where one should be clicking on things.

We owned the pocket PC version of this and am glad to see it now on IOS. Works great, would like to see syncing of ratings/results by user between iPad and iPhone for the same appleID.

Very happy to see the CT-ART and other trainers.

Great app. Improving with each use!

For those of you familiar with the pc software CT-Art Tactics (made by another company called Convekta), finally a similar program has been adapted as an iPhone App. We have been waiting years for this as this tactics trainer is truly one of the best- if not the best! Have you the book Rapid Chess Improvement by Maza? These are the types of tactic training exercises he used to improve his Elo rating some 400 points in 400 days. With determination you should be able to memorize all 300+ exercises and solve them all in under 20 minutes. Thank you to the writers of this app for bringing the best tactical training available for the chess player who is ready to improves their tactical vision. We gave only 4 stars because we don’t see an option to have the entire collection contained inside one single app.

We just love this app. The tactic trainer alone is worth the price. Want to improve? Here you go.
