Lots of depth and fun in this one.

We love this game but its so outdated compared to the latest iOS version that many features are not working the way they are supposed to. For example, we cant sign into our Facebook like we did before :/

We’ve played this game for years on end, we use an iPad Air, iPad 8th Gen and an iPhone SE, that are all always updated on the lasted iOS. The issue here is that whenever we are on the lasted iOS the game doesnt work/open/start when we use World Tour (the online feature) It mentions how Im, UNABLE TO CONNECT! That we should, Please make sure your internet is on giving us two options. To return home or retry again. Our issue isnt that Im not connected to the internet. So we figured it was the fact this game isnt up to date on the lasted iOS as per usualmaybe it is our end that is the problem. If so, Ill totally give this 5 stars. Tltr: we have a minor inconvenience each time our iOS is on the latest update with this game.

There doesnt seem to be a tutorial for this game? A rulebook for someone like us who wants to learn how to play this game? Games need to have tutorials and rule books inside the app.

Computer sometime make same move over and over again.

Multi players (world tour) not working… For days!

On easy the computer think really fast and on hard it think really slow.

Great speed and easy access and play.

This app works perfectly for our purposes. The ads can be irritating but what can one expect for free?

This program offers several excellent ways to learn and practice.

We really like this game it killing time.

V2.7.61. Waiting time for next move is getting too long. Is there any we could do to fix this waiting time?

Please add new feature. Leave the undo button activated even when checkmated. This will allow a newbie to try various end game scenarios and further his learning. Too many times, when we think we are a move away from winning, we are totally blindsided and get checkmated. We want to be able to go back a couple moves to get more clarity about better defense strategies.

It wouldnt allow us to connect to play with other online players.

If you are inexperienced at Chinese Chess, the endgame problems will give you a good introduction to Chinese Chess tactics.

It’s a very challenging game, very smart, if there’s a feature that could teach training would be great Like showing, predicting, a few moves ahead, strategic.

Good apps out of all chess app.

Great AI!!! We can’t even beat level 1. We think the proper translation of "Resigned " should be "FORFEITED "

Very good graphics. Works quickly. So far, we haven’t even been able to beat level one, and we have a USCF rating of 1833. We can’t think of anything negative to say. A lot of fun.

Very challenging and it includes critical thinking ending challenges. Very thought out!

This app is a good way to learn Chinese Chess without the actual game. 5/5.

Enjoyable challenges and it was a helpful app to use for learning the game. It occasionally crashes.

We live this Chinese Chess app. As a player of international chess we know of what options are needed for serious play. This app is much better than others with the UI and ease of use with English language. It is great especially for beginner. But so many essential things are missing from making it 100% perfect Xiangqi app. First, despite having 10 levels there is no way of knowing what difficulty they’re equivalent to. Please consider adding normal chess board backgrounds with plain wood or paper color. Add some more chess piece skins. Add the option to save games to look at later. Maybe add a small sample of games to look at. More difficulty settings.

We are using this app to learn Chinese Chess. We especially enjoy the easy to read graphics and the endgame puzzles.

Recomend to people, yes but it need to refresh sometime.

Software shut down in middle og game.

The app almost always either crashes or disconnects you whenever you are about to finish a game.

We were able to play without wifi. Then our phone got updated, and now it won’t connect.

Horrible app. AI forces you to move back and forth with it and be stuck in the same move, back and forth forever. AI never gets tired so it’ll force u to make a bad move or just go back and forth forever.

Screw this app! It says 10 levels of difficulty meanwhile we can rarely beat the 1st level … And we’ve been playing for a long long time … We’re not good but we would expect to be able to beat level 1 and probably 2 or 3 even but this is just a joke!

Board very small. Stopped working after 2 positions. Too much advertising. Uninstalled after 5 minutes.

It does not keep up with your score! If it did level 10 takes too much time to make a move! We didn’t want to write anything bad, just the truth. Maybe they can fix the bug then we will change our rating…

Challenges in addition to the normal game mode.

Good game, better than other Chinese chess.

This is a game designed for advanced players. If you are serious and seriously good at Chinese chess, this would be a good game for you. If you just want to play casually to kill time, be prepared to have your feelings hurt.

Doesnt respect phone when on silent mode. Buggy.

So great and addicting. Best co tuong ever!

It just needs a way to end the game when it gets to a pint where no side can win. All you can do now is start a new game.

If you like Chinese chess, you will love this.

This app is for anyone who wants to learn how to play Chinese chess,or xiangqi: as its called. With learning puzzles, and other helpful ways to learn the game, you’ll have no problem going from novice to expert in no time. Give this app a try.
