We need a second part to this series you left us on a hook; we want to know what happens next pls if she continues to be a diplomat or not and especially her love interest if they get married or not.
We use to love this game! The writing was good, fun prompts for you take take your story in whatever direction you wanted, but they started using Ai! All the new stories are awful, lack character development, the prompts have no feelings to them, and the new artwork is trash. Ill start a new book and after a few chapters, ill give up because its so bad. PLEASE bring back your actual writers.
Pros: -Books before the AI era (2023) are well written with interesting stories and characters and beautiful art -Free to play friendly: They are very generous with free gems and you can rack up a ton in a week by watching their daily ads. -Anime Art Style: Leg us be clear. The anime ART STYLE they are doing for the High School Story remake is good, but the REDESIGNS for the characters are bad, a lot dont even resemble their original counterparts. Yes, the remake is from a Chinese app, but they fixed Caleb to be accurate but not other characters??? But regardless with the anime art style, our character smiling all the time is way more bearable than in that 3D-looking art style the other books have. Cons: -AI art in newer books (2023 and later): With all this AI art, the newer stories are soulless. You dont care about the plot, the characters, none of it. -Same old stories: Theyve done a few stories with interesting ideas based of classics like Little Red Riding Hood (The Cursed Cloak) and Harry Potter (The Elementalists), but still no The Little Mermaid, Alice In Wonderland, or Beauty And The Beast inspired books? And before you say it, those are NOT Disney properties, there have been many adaptations from other movie studios and authors, so Id love to see how those stories would be in Choices format. Nowadays, they just retell the same story theyve already done. For example, Wolf Bride was good, but after the second werewolf story, the genre gets old, and there are now at least 4 books with werewolves in them. Also, A lot of the newer books feel the same. You meet your love interest within a few seconds of starting the story and they are completely smitten with you but dont actually give you the choice to be single if you want to. And trust us, with the newer books you WANT to because of reason number 3 -Less options for love interests: There used to be 4 different options for love interests, and in a lot of older books you could even stay single. Now, lots of the newer books have only 1 or 2 love interests only, and because none of them are attractive now you dont want to be with them, but you are forced to because THEY REMOVED THE OPTION TO STAY SINGLE!!! -MC has zero personality: We always play as the same happy go lucky MC who is always overly positive and smiles in nearly every single dialogue box. Its ANNOYING. Even optimistic people arent THIS happy in real life. Just once, Id like to play as a nonchalant character because Im nonchalant in real life. Or better yet, why not revamp the character customization to include a good range of faces used previously instead of only getting 4 options as well as personality types? The personalities dont even need to have much of an effect on the story at this point, just something along the lines of a timid MC will look more sad a lot of times, and a nonchalant MC will have the blank resting face more often -Pilot Books: Theyve announced that 3 of the Pilot books will remain unfinished for now because of low player engagement, but this is such an easy fix. First off, of course theres low player engagement. We can only replay the same 2-3 chapters for only so long. That doesnt mean we dont want them to be discontinued! Second, STOP MAKING NEW BOOKS AND FINISH THE PILOTS! A lot of the newer books arent good anyways, and the pilots have some really interesting ideas (especially The Royal Wedding Planner), probably because theyre most likely written by an actual human, so why not slow down new releases to finish them? Also, some newer books get to skip the Pilot phase and just be released as is, which is NOT fair. Third, why would you risk disappointing fans like this??? A good way to have people like ourselves angry at you. Overall, theyve done multiple player surveys over the years, and there have been very little changes. Ive been playing since theyve released and am very disappointed in how theyre doing nothing with the app :(.
We love this game so much and have been playing for years, we love the longer series, please add more crimes of passion!!! Im begging the plot twists always get us.
We adore this game, our only complaint that has just caught our eye is the AI covers. Im sure the developers have the money to produce some actual art pieces. The old stories have amazing art covers but now, all the AI covers are so soulless. Please go back to your roots Choices.
Holy moly we just finished distant shores, the time traveling pirate story and im literally OBSESSED you have no idea how much we adore it!! If you guys come out with another book we will spend our entire paycheck on diamonds and give you all the money we possibly can!!!! Please please give us more pirates.

Ive had this game previously and love it and seen how the app has grown through the years the only thing that puts us off is the obvious AI covers . We want quality over quantity most readers would be willing to wait for better quality from humans.
We LOVE choices. We played when we were 12-13 and im almost 20 and still enthralled with the game. We love the stories, specifically romance, the terrific writing, and the art style. We love that theres a lot of LGBT options. Genuinely our only complaint is that it takes 3 hrs for a new key. When we played years ago, the wait for new keys was only 2 hrs. Its a small thing but waiting 3 hrs for 10 mins of story is kinda lame.
For youre character in game, you need to for one, fix youre Asian variant for the female as most of the time it doesnt look Asian enough and sometimes the White variant is bad as well. Also hairstyles and we dont understand the hairstyle choices, most of the time they are bad, we like the hairstyles before, look at other romance games for inspiration like Chapters. Also we need Asian eyebrows to be Black as most Asians have Black Hair. We play the game based on the charter choices.
Can we please do another royal romance one where it picks up right after the royal finale?! Pleaseeeee.
We love the concept of the game a lot, but very disappointed that you need to pay for diamonds to really enjoy the full scope of the game it makes it unjoyable because not everyone has the money to pay to play or even want to pay for that matter life is already hard and just wanted to enjoy a game.
This game used to be the most amazing story app we have ever played. The stories were thought provoking and fun at the same time. The character artwork was incredible. And everything was getting even better, until recently when they fired all the good writers and artists and turned into AI slop. We still play to play the old games, but none of the new ones are any good. The stories are all boring and riddled with grammar mistakes. And the character artwork? Horrifying. They look like grinning weird creepy robot dolls. We miss real art and real stories. Please do better.
Its really disheartening to see the quality of this app decline so drastically in such a short period of time, and we cant believe theyre attempting to normalize the use of ai in a creative space where the quality of both the writing AND the art was fairly high and regarded well. We used to really enjoy reading the stories on here, but its becoming increasingly difficult to ignore how every story is becoming repetitive and uninteresting in their pursuit of releasing more and more stories in a short time, and then the art cant even enjoyed on top of that. Its frustrating and makes it extremely difficult to even try justifying spending any more time on the app when the decline in quality and care for the work is so brazen. Its greedy business, and it ruins everything that used to set choices apart from similar apps. Pay artists and writers!!!!!!!! Thats what were here for, not ai slop. Do better.
We used to LOVE this game. Ive played it for years, played some of the stories multiple times, and was even a VIP for years until now. The stories used to be so moving and interesting, and the animation wasnt too bad. Now the stories are exactly the same every single book and chapter, and the animation looks so bad and fake. Not to mention them making it harder to get diamonds. So the quality had gone down significantly and theyre making everything more expensive.yeah we had to cancel our VIP subscription and delete the game.
We think you should make more time with love and more love pictures.

Used to love this app and spent so much time on it because you could tell the artists were doing their best. Im sure they still are, but we can no longer enjoy this app bc of the blatant and ugly AI use. Even if we couldnt tell, we would not go back bc it shows such disrespect for artists. If we hear choices pledge to be AI free, Id love to return. In the meantime, Im loving Starbrew Cafe which has pledged to be AI free.
Only thing we dont like is the vip system.
Pixelberry did their ones with this game! Ive had it since it came out and out of all the reading/role playing games Ive had on our phone, this one is by far the best. It is ever changing with new stories like every month and the concepts of the stories are getting better and better. Theres something for every genre and its just so fun to read these stories! Shoutout to the authors and editors and stuff and the graphicsits all soo good, even down to the music and lil character outfits and stuff. A game that shaped our childhood and will continue to give us nostalgia when we play it! We hope they never discontinue this game like they did Hollywood U and High School Story, but imma let that slide this time :).

Ive been playing this app for the past 5 years and its changed our life for the better. We play it at least once a week, if not more. We love the writing, characters, background art, outfit designs, and intricate plots. There is a story/genre for everyone! So creative, heartwarming, and LGBT+ friendly. What a special app, Id highly recommend it.
Very good stories but they have this thing where if you watch 10 ad you get 10 diamonds they used to be watched 100 ads get 100 diamonds and they should bring that back but other than that its a very good app.
As long as you watch ads you get gems it doesnt force a purchase its a good game we hope more LGBTQ stories are made in this game.

So Ive used this app since we were a freshman in high school about 8-9 years ago. We fell in love with a lot of the stories and characters. Even the music is nostalgic to us. Before it used to be so hard to get diamonds and thankfully its easier now so we dont have any complaints! We would totally rate 5 stars but theres one thing Id like to suggest! If its possible, it would be great if you guys could maybe add a small button somewhere to go back and read a bit of the previous dialogue. Sometimes we accidentally skip and miss something a little important. We sometimes forget to turn off auto-play so Ill accidentally hit it and miss some dialogue that way too! Other than that, we love this game soooo much.
Hi we Spent 60 Gems on Alpha Masquerade Ball or whatever its called and it wont let us play it? Other then that amazing game.
We used to love this game, but it slowly got more and more heterosexual (so many books where you can only play as female mc) and everything good is locked behind their in game currency. Really felt like the devs stopped listening to fans completely.
We still enjoy this game. But please bring back rewarding gems for finishing a book anytime, not just for the first time. Rereading the stories we enjoy was a good way of getting gems when we didnt have much money to spend.

Ive been a huge fan of this game ever since it came out, but it has really gone down in quality, the excessive use of AI makes all the new stories unenjoyable and hard to look at, we can only reread old books if we wanna use this app.
We understand were all struggling with money but dangggg do yall gotta scam other people who are struggling. The 100 diamond watch ad thing is cut down to 10 ok not bad. Some books are only vip hmm ok. They use Ai in their books and covers and deny it umm ok moving with the new times ok but dont lie about it. To many over sexual books hmm. They added 30 diamonds daily for vip ok kool but its to distract the fact that the vip is the same price, and took away the 185 diamonds when we purchase vip. So only first time buyers get the diamonds but if thats the case then Y keep the price so high. Y do we have to pay $17 for 30 diamonds for a month and ai books that arent that good and other books that we dont like or is just way to sexy. Im not trying to be rude or anything bc we still love yall older books soooo much but please think of the people who wanna read great books to but not be taken advantage of.
Just finished Roomates with benefits and it ended wonderfully BUT TOO SOON we are definitely replaying it! Ive also play HSS and love that series.
Update- OMG ALPHA BOOK 2 WAS AMAZING!!! In our opinion the first one was definitely better but we enjoyed the second one just as much!!! PLEASE GIVE US A THIRD ONE!!!! The story just doesnt feel over yet and we cant wait to see what they have in store for Alpha!!! Also we love the other books like Kiss of Death, Immortal Desires, and Do No Harm! We are so excited to started reading Book two of DNH, finishing ID book 3 + start ID paths not taken, and heres to hoping Kiss Of Death gets a book 2.
Create you own story by looking at other stories in this amazing app gave us confusion because we asked ourselves are readers creating their own stories? Then we looked at ever feature and we dont have create your own story. It would be amazing for people to get creative and become authors of wonderful stories.
This is one of the 1st time Ive ever tried one of these things and this App is the business! We like it and addicted & we are only in ch. 2! Its great, we Love it.
We do love this app and the game. We signed up for the VIP. However, the daily rewards for VIP membership at least for us has stopped working???? We hit home a bunch of times and we see the diamond clip art thing you tap for it. But it just blinks? Theres definitely a glitch.
We really enjoy the stories and there's more options in them then most apps like this we've tried. We are a bit disappointed that they reduced the amount of gems you can get for free (watching ads) from 100 TO 10, please bring back the 100 gems. We hate that the newer stories have AI covers. AI "art" is theft and gives a bad impression. The older stories are still great though.
Ive been reading Choices for years and have seen the drastic changes since then. Every few screen clicks Im asked for large amounts of diamonds just to do a simple task or wear a simple piece of clothing. We pay for diamonds but they run out faster in one story because of how many diamonds is asked for one scenario. We also feel its unfair that we have to wait 4 hours just for two keys and only get one diamond after reading a chapter.
Ive had this app for a long time and now its saying we need 4 294 967 296 keys to restart a book, like what the heck we just wanna reread it.
We used to love Choices we remember playing it back when we were in middle school. It was so fun! Sure, the exclusive scenes costing a lot of diamonds was a killjoy, but hey, we could still enjoy the story without them! Now, however, the chapters are cut awfully short if you dont spend any diamonds to unlock the exclusive scenes. In The Freshman, only extra scenes were exclusive to the readers and had little impact on the story. In the newer stories, however, not only is there smut (which wasnt really necessary) but also the characters wont lend you a hand to complete certain, important tasks in the story unless you use diamonds. On top of that, the first chapter of every book used to be free (you didnt need keys to play them) but now, sadly, you do :( The books are lovely, but the updates are so disappointing.
Theyve really gone downhill in terms of writing quality and art style. The AI art is awful and the writing no longer has any good setup its just straight into the thick of the story with no real build up to care about the characters. We wish they didnt get bought out and fire all the talented artists.
Choices used to be one of our favorite apps. We grew up with it and always loved it. The art was awesome, great character development and plot, and more selection and customization. Not only is it more of a cash grab now, but it also is pure AI slop; incoherent and repetitive dialogue and horrifying art. The old books are still fantastic, so we still keep it around to reread our favorites.

Ive been a vip member for years and we can say this game will go downhill if it keeps treating their players like this. Choices that used to cost 15/12 diamonds now costs 30! It was 30 diamonds just to take a walk outside. A steamy scene that normally costs 30 went up to 45! Outfits from 25 to 30. Then they went back to the old stories and increased their diamond prices too, thinking we wouldnt notice. The LEAST this game could do is bring back the 100 daily ads for diamonds if the diamonds are gonna cost this much but they took that away. At least give their vip players discounted choices or something. 30 diamonds used to be the REAL premium choices now its the standard and its sad. We used to love this game crazy how theyre treating the players they care about like this.
Ive been playing Choices for almost a decade now and seeing the decline of this game is truly disheartening. Books used to have so much more passion and creativity behind them but recently with the new management and use of AI the stories feel less original and more generic. Not only has the writing quality of stories and characters gotten worse, but the art has been a huge dealbreaker for many players and we. Every book cover is noticeably AI generated, characters are AI generated, backgrounds, etc. The overall look of the game doesnt feel like it was crafted with love like before and these new AI sprites have the same templates for facial expressions which is quite uncanny. Pixelberry has become greedier and greedier over the course of the past year. Reducing the number of daily ads to gain diamonds from 100 to 10, downsizing their creative team and replacing them with AI, increasing the cost of diamond choices, etc. It is clear they couldnt care less about their loyal players as long as they can churn out cheap story after cheap story with premium diamond choices. It saddens us to see the life bleed out of the eyes of this once enjoyable game. Theres nothing separating it from every other Episode game. The art is AI, the stories are bland along with the characters in them, free to play users are struggling, and pay to play users are getting less bang for their buck. More and more players grow dissatisfied with the direction Choices is going in, and if change doesnt happen we fear Pixelberry will run this game to the ground.
Love the stories but dont love spending 30 gems like 2-3 times in one chapter. Then receiving only 15 gems after completing a book. Especially, as a VIP player. For the amount of gems spent in a book with 16-18 chapters, please give a more reasonable amount of gems for completing it.

Not everyone is financially stable to be spending money on this game. They wanna enjoy their books too.
