Got to the Knight of the Garter when our device died. Loaded up the game on our new device ! Now working on reaching that level again! Great game.
We’ve been playing this for many years and it still challenges us everyday.
The game is both challenging and addictive. However there is a glitch where autocomplete does not allow for the full acquisition of points and stops prematurely before granting all points deserved.
We had written before when app just wouldnt even open on iPad, was very disappointed. After updating a bunch of apps decided to try again, works fine now. We find this very challenging, good for keeping our brain sharper!
We’ve tried everything but when you try to buy more undos or hints, it gets stuck in loading mode. Fix it or you cant fleece us.
Enjoyed it a lot, but as of 4 September 2023, they no longer accept payments. It may be an orphan app.
We’ve been playing since this dropped. Almost 2mm points, 4000 games won etc. That includes us uninstalling it for at least 3 years. We can play for hours. Its engaging as a game. The fonts and cards have changed a few times (inexplicably). As of Sept 2023, they are legible. If the cards dip below the horizon, you will never be able to see them again. So remember strategically, dont let that happen. The app team is non responsive. Need help, dont ask them. Curious about scoring? Ditto, forget it. Even if you play the same game over and over, every time is a different score. The scoring is correlated with time to finish, but once at a higher level, only weakly correlated. We’ve tested several games by playing them different ways getting different times. Same exact game (theyre numbered) but moving things around differently. So for example, finished number 11 in 5:30, get one score, finished it a different day in 6:20, and got a higher score?! Baffling. Same cards, same deck etc so the only difference was us being slower or less optimal. The points gained for the base game (before bonus points) are different each play. Never mind the bonus points. We havent even tried to decipher those. We play for fun or distraction.
The game is complex and addictive. Play it every day. But the app keeps breaking. The problem we have right now is that it wont let us buy more Hints and more Undos. At one time our score was over 700,000 points, but now its somewhere between 300,000 and 400,000. Our rank is shown as Knight of the Garter, Peacemaker and Second Lieutenant. For awhile, could pick the current days Daily Churchill, and it makes the deal. If we pick the same day again, it gave us a different deal. This has been fixed. Occasionally it gave us a deal that was impossible to win because of the line up of cards in the Devils Six. That has not occurred recently. The only fix we’ve been able to find is to delete the app and reinstall it. We’ve reinstalled it three times over the past two days and it still will not let us buy Hints and Undos. Game is great! App quality if awful!
We have played this game since day one. The first year or so went fine…. Now the game has bugs and there is no one to help you. App support is non existent. We play around the bugs so we can finish the game…. But we are annoyed by it. Dont really recommend. New subscription games have major bugs!! Never mind trying for a winning streak because when you successfully complete a game… Doesnt give you credit for it. On top of that…. It doesnt show that you completed the game. Have had to play 3-4 games again to show they were completed successfully. Please fix. Not good for $30/month. Cant figure out how to purchase hints or undos after the recent Apple update mandating use of AssistiveTouch. Someone please help. Not hope-full though knowing the tech support of this game.
April 2022 we subscribed for DailyChallenge. In May 2022, the iPad version on Churchill Solitaire vanished. Numerous times in the last year we could not reload or get access to this app. But, miracles of miracles, we were notified about renewing the annual subscription and was able to reload the app successfully. How timely! What a scam!
Churchill Solitaire no longer keeps track of our wins. This is very annoying as we’ve been playing this game for quite some time.
A couple of months back, the game dumped a lot of our score. It no longer adds the score for a win to our total. The daily score doesnt show nor does the time to complete game. We have no idea what games we won or lost or the opportunity for our score to increase. We have sent several messages to you regarding this with ABSOLUTELY no response from you. Yet you want to charge a lot to play this game.
When are you going to fix the bugs within the game? We typically really like the game but with these bugs its not as fun to play. Please fix soon.
The daily game no longer can be won by skill, but requires luck and guessing. Not much fun anymore.
The app no longer keeps score. Very frustrating!!!
We cannot use the app when we travel outside our home time zone.
Yesterday we updated our iPad to 16.3.1. Today we downloaded Churchill Solitaire 1.6.1. Previous to the latest version, the game would crash at the Javelin screen. Today it completely loads, lays out the cards of the game and then freezes. Nothing moves.
Please fix this folks. 2/27/23 Updated version still wont work on IOS 16.

250 wins and 201,051 points. At this rate we only need about 1,000 more wins to reach the 1,000,000 points needed for the top level of LEGEND. The ranking system is stupid. LEGEND also requires 250 wins, but we are almost 800,000 points away. The previous high rank was PRIME MINISTER, which requires 14 wins and 75,000 points. We enjoy the game and if you like a challenge you will too. The game is great. We downloaded the game very early on and got the 500 game pack. We dont do the daily games. And dont know that we will because since reaching 250 wins there is no reward for more wins and we are years away from the points goal. They added more level above PRIME MINISTER after players started reaching it. But the ranking progression went from ill conceived to toataly wacko stupid. But dont let that keep you from getting the game if you are not afraid of thinking.
The game is still playing well. However, since the latest iPhone iOS update, the opening screen is catty Wompus.
This game is so fun to play, but the last update locked all the levels (including the one we were on) which was very frustrating. Contacted support through the games Facebook page and they responded almost immediately. They were able to unlock all the levels we had already purchased in just a few minutes and now Im fully enjoying the game again. Thanks for the quick resolution & this fiendish game!!
We play multiple solitaire games. We rush through the daily challenges on others because they are simple. We enjoy this game because it is necessary to slow down and think about the strategy. We love that little box that asks if we want it wrapped up. We do have a wee issue… We purchased the entire set of locked games through 500. Now suddenly it says we only have to 200 and we must purchase the rest. We are baffled.
We’ve been an avid player since reading about this game in the Washington Examiner. We respect Churchill and Rumsfeld for many of their ideas and to learn more about their story behind this game made it more intriguing. We then had to give the demo a try and we enjoyed it so much that we purchased the game. It is one of the most challenging of all solitaire type games that we know and worth the purchase. It certainly helps during our commute to keep us occupied. We did have a recent problem when a new update came out, but we contacted support and they were able to quickly fix the problem. Thanks again for your help and for this great game!
The game is lots of fun and we enjoy the challenge. We enjoy playing old games to see if we can win them. When they introduced Daily Churchill, we started playing every day. Knowing these games are winnable, its been fun going back and replaying games we didnt win. Sadly as of May 1, 2021, we have been unable to record scores. We hope they fix this glitch soon.
We love Churchill Solitaire! We recently deleted it by mistake and when we recovered it from the App Store it was unplayable. The symbols on the cards had become so small as to be unreadable. We were so disappointed, BUT today we discovered an option for the old big symbols, and also the old plain backs to the cards. (I revere Winston, but seeing dozens of pictures of his face on the back of the cards is much too distracting.) So happy – dont even mind being demoted from prime minister to lowly peon.
Normal solitaire is fun in many ways and different ways. NONE, however, can hold a candle to Churchill Solitaire. The games as campaigns along with solution promotions magnify the diabolical challenges. The best and unique solitaire without question along with history. Highly recommend as it is, indeed, unique and second to none.

This is a very challenging game, but worth playing for the challenge. We recommend this game.
If you arent getting the daily challenge, you should be. Best $30 we spend all year.
Love this game, however, we purchased the additional puzzles a while back. Come back today and the puzzles are back down to the 200 count. We attempt to restore purchases and it will not unlock the 200 or 300 additional puzzles we have paid to unlock in the past. Please fix. UPDATE: we were contacted by the developer. They investigated the issue. Identified the root cause. Sent us a promo code to restore the purchase. Kudos to the development team for their quick and effective actions.
There seems to be a problem with this app. New daily games are not available. Getting an error message. Whats up?
Really makes you think strategically as you are playing with two decks of cards. Just like in war, you have to be thinking ahead as to what moves you have to make. Best solitaire game so far!!
We subscribed to the Daily puzzle but when we complete one it seems to be hit or miss as to whether it is shown as complete with the points scored.
We love this game but when we get to about 8 undos l am billed for another undo pack but we dont get it delivered. This has happened MANY times. Yes it is only .99 cents but we have probably been billed $5 to $10 over the past few months before we really noticed this was happening. That is stealing. Happened again today 07-17-2022. Please help us fix if developer sees this post. Others watch out if this happens to you.

So previous version allowed play and charged for undos and hints. Guess we were lucky to test your game for six months. Now that you require $60 to rent the game for a year. $6 for undos $6 for hints $60 for one year play $6 for 25 campaigns at a time we guess your target customers make more money than us what about options for working people -one free deal a day? -five free deals for watching an ad? And how about a link on your website to prove you actually donate money to a reputably rated charity. Im skeptical. And your FAKE 5 star review from Winny C….. Haha… Winston churchhill had ethics and principles.

This is an outstanding, challenging game, but for the love of Donald Rumsfeld, can we dispense with the unbridled greed and offer an Unlimited Undos option just like EVERY OTHER solitaire game out there? There must be a fair price the devs can settle onpeople are going broke here!
We played this game totally free without ads over many many games and achieved the highest available score.
We have loved playing this game for several years! We accidentally deleted it – (I had 2 apps showing and hit remove by mistake) and now we cannot get the game back. When we download it from the App Store it pulls it from the cloud and then prompts us to open it. When we open it to play, the game never appears, just the javelin screen. That screen stays up for a few seconds and then closes and the desktop reappears. HELP!! We want this game back!
