Civilization Revolution 2 Reviews

We love this but civ rev was better.

Very much like the ps3 game. The controls took some time to get use to- but we did it quick and Im an old guy. We like how we can play for 20 minutes, then come back to it later in the day. A more convenient way to play. No in app purchases, just fun.

Thank God for the new iOS 11 update. The game is amazing and well worth the price now.

We enjoyed playing this game. Took us at least 3 hours to get through this game only playing at the lowest setting!

It is fun and if you like different avenues to claim victory, this is your game, vet happy with purchase!

We love this game with our heart its a passion the Chuck create more of the same version keep upgrading it but keep it in the same version that way people can keep playing on their phones Yall also market this im talking Erin it on tv.

Civilization is a fantastic franchise! This game is easier than Civ 6. Lots of fun and lots of scenarios. Games can be long or short, depending on how you choose to win (i.e. Domination victory, cultural victory, etc). Would recommend for anyone who likes turn based strategy games!

Fun version of the classic game. While limited by the mobile device platform, it’s still good for hours of entertainment!

This game may be old but its still so good! We now own it Xbox, iOS and android and its worth every penny we’ve spent on it, even now. We wish the developers would make a CivRev3.

We have greatly enjoyed this game for years! Easy play, loads of fun.

Loved the first one on Xbox and love the second on our a iphone 12.

Seriously love this game but cant play it now due to the iOS being outdated Edit:thanks for listen from the crys of your fan of updating this game love yall keep it up.

We are a huge fan of the entire Civ series, glad this one is for iPhone.

We love us some Civ Rev, we used to play the original on Xbox360 and this app does it mad justice for being a mobile version.

We found the controls a little awkward at first, but they get better after a couple games. Compared to its PC siblings, the game is certainly toned down a bit as far as complexity goes. Seeing as how Im playing on our phone and on the go, it just works better that way.

If you like the civ franchise, and dont have the time anymore. Play this version.

We loved Cubs 1 on the Xbox 360 and play it still on our Xbox one. We love this game. We do miss the wait one turn and we are still getting used to the difference in seeing how many armies we have in a city. We wish we could see them at a glance like we can the buildings. Building the ICBM is a bit annoying as it wont let us tell it to defend or wait until we activate it so every turn it goes to it. But it is just as great as the original, a $5 well spent!

This game is addictive. We hate it and we love it. It has stolen years of our life.

We have been a long time fan of Sid Meyers civilization games, started with 2, and this game did not disappoint, we were hesitant because it is a mobile game, but we love it, been playing none stop for about 5 hours.

Devs we love this game so much. It is such a great pass time. Grinding the achievements as we write this lol. please please make a unlimited turns mode we would love to continue playing after any of the victories. We like maxing out our cities and amassing our army lol! Please heed our calllllll! Again our favorite game. We Wish rev2 was available on console too!! Rev1 was awesome as well!

We love this game! Im a fan of the original Civ Rev, and this builds on that game.

Wasted too much time playing the first one on our iPod touch years ago, and now its the reason we still use our iPad for anything other than Netflix or reading. Solid recommendation.

The console version was probably the most replayable game of all time. This version extended that to mobile devices. The only problem is once you figure out a few key techniques youre owning on deity every game. There should be a harder difficulty imo. We also think they should make a rev 3 because a lot of people dont want to sink a couple weeks into an overly complicated civ6 style game and with a few tasteful improvements, harder difficulty and removing things like air attack animations and adding back overrun it would be great. Nobody want to watch any of those attack animations and those could easily be speeded up at the very least.

This is so much like the original, and it has a few extras that we really enjoy. It will get you hooked.

The game is awesome only thing that it needs is more people (presents and new types of villains) And other than that we think this game ROCKS!!!!!

We’re so glad they brought this to the iOS platform. This game is addictive.

You need something thats challenging, entertaining, and also will take like an hour of your time up then this is super worth it. Its also a really good game.

The developers did a great job adapting Civ to mobile device play. We play this on our phone and it doesnt lose any playability on the smaller screen. Its not buggy or laggy at all, although our phone is new and we dont know how it would play on an older device. This game is very addictive and we think it will offer hours of re-play fun. It is annoying when you forget to save and have to go back but thats our fault, not the games. Definitely worth 5 bucks and we love that you dont have to buy in-app purchases.

We hesitated a long time about buying the game, but when they updated for iOS 11, we figured we should try it. No bugs that we can see, unless the other civilizations were supposed to be attacking barbarians? Its a relatively fast paced game (for a Civilization game). Everything is simplified, of course. Still, its more fun for us than Civ 5 or Civ 3 were on the PC.

We’ve spent many hours on this game and we love it. Our only wish is that there be a feature that allows the technology to stop advancing at a certain age to allow players/AI to go past say medieval tech. If this feature already exists please let us know. Thanks for a great game!!

Great game we love it, it is all we play highly recommended for anyone.

We feel compelled to give this five stars because we really do enjoy the game and find myself coming back to it often. We were a fan of Civ 2 in the 90s and actually prefer some of the simplicity here vs. The full game today. But there are numerous issues that seem easily fixable but remain in this version: -No ability to make units wait for next turn other than completing all moves in a turn -No option to skip animations, which take annoyingly long time, especially the space project -Other civs inexplicably freeze when they pass next to barbarian villages (this also makes even diety level probably too easy) -Autobuild function would really help.

Best civ game we have played so far on our phone.

It’s just like the normal full game, it has a little differences because the way you check the city screens different and the way you move is different. But it’s really fun.

This game is easy to play and attractive themes also Civilization games are our favorite and would consider these best games to build cities and part of history as well love it.

We’ve enjoyed the Civilization games on our PC from Civ 2 thru 5 and am amazed they were able to port it to mobile devices. This version has elements of Civ 2 and 3 mostly. It is a simplified and sped up version of the PC game. We think most of the simplification was probably necessary to get it to play on mobile without crashing devices, butI found it still plays surprisingly well. Eliminating workers actually enhances game play, we think. Not sure how confusing it would be for players not already familiar with the game concepts but we are enjoying it a lot. (In contrast, we deleted Civ 6 in a couple days.) They do provide a tutorial and, of course, the Civilopedia. The maps are fairly small with snaky land masses and islands. We wish they let us reduce the quantity of ai opponents so they could be farther apart and we dont find them so quickly. We appreciate the custom game settings. Sometimes its nice to just play in no war mode.

One of our all time favorites. We wish theyd do some updates. Its been a LOONG time.

They never update the game, so you will periodically have times where you wont be able to play. Then when they do update it, they make it worse, slow, laggy, they took the nuke animation out, the audio is terrible now, nothing is ever updated for any changes, no new characters in 2 years no new achievements, no new scenarios, nothing its basically civilization revolution #1 with Winston Churchill, JFK, Lenin, and aircraft carriers. ITS crap! For $15 youd think they could produce a better game than this. Star Wars is free and they update that game with new characters, missions, and content every month. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS GAME YOU WILL REGRET IT, we CERTAINLY DO!!!

A very good no hassle casual game. Somewhat sophisticated, decent graphics and many option to entertain for some time.

Have always been a fan of this franchise. Recently purchased latest version, worth it!

Love this game but we still miss the older version.

We’ve been playing this game for over ten years on ps4, Xbox and for the last 5 mobile. It just never gets old and you buy it once and never have to stick money into it again. If we could Id give it 100 stars.

The game is great its just like the original game on the Xbox.

Pretty addicting once you get the swing of things.

World leaders have never had the pleasure of meeting each other. So its impossible to leverage diplomacy so they declare war on each other. This bug has been in the iOS version for years. Please fix it.

If you gotta take over the world on the go its perfect! Just make sure you bring your charger!
