A Glimpse into Classic Solitaire: Pyramid

New Version of a Classic Solitaire: Pyramid.
The object of the game is to remove pairs of cards that add up to 13 from an arrangement of cards – a pyramid of 28 cards.
To set up the pyramid, the game deal one card face up at the top of the playing area, then two cards beneath and partially covering it, then three beneath them, and so on till you have dealt out a row of seven cards for a total of 28 cards dealt.
The remaining 24 cards are placed to the side face down. This is the Stock.
To play, pairs of exposed cards can be removed to the Foundation if their values total 13. Thus, Kings can be removed immediately to the Foundation. Cards must not be covered. Thus when an Three rests on a Ten, that Ten can not be removed.
You may draw cards from the Stock one at a time and match it with any exposed card. if no match is made the drawn Stock card is still discarded into the Foundation.
Once the Stock is exhausted and /or no more pairs can be made, the game ends.
There are three reserve cells that the player can use to place cards from the stock (but not from the Pyramid) for later use.
Game is won when all cards from the pyramid are moved to the foundation; the game can still be won with cards left in the stock.

We have played 100 games, won 2. If you are into masochism, this is for you.

Until lately, a 5-star game. However, the leaderboard win counter has locked up even though all top players are still playing. Further attempts to contact a support help desk have been futile.

We enjoy the challenge and it helps pass the time.

Super graphics! Fast and accurate!

We love this app! However it is addicting.

Terribly addictive! We have the App on our iPad and iPhone so It is never too far away!

A challenging game of solitaire. We like it.

We win all the time. We continue to play over and over. It’s fun and makes you think.

Actually, it’s simple fun for us because we don’t study the level above and plan our attack. We suspect it could be quite a strategic challenge if you played it that way.

Would have given it 5 stars but there is no undo button, and unlike previous pyramid games once the deck is out the game ends. We’re used to being able to reuse the deck.

The negative side of this game is that there isn’t an ‘Undo’ feature. The positive side is everything else about it. We rarely pay for the apps but did on this game to give 3 open slots instead of the default 1. It improves your play and enjoyment, helps strategize your moves and makes you even more of a Pyramid addict.

This is addictive, only 2 flaws, iWish you could tap the two #s instead of dragging & a oops button, so if you accidentally tapped 2 deck cards, you could back up.

We like the game. But wish there were an undo button and that it wouldn’t freeze so often.

Nice game to play to pass time.

We like this app. With it had more than one game.

I’d think this game were impossible to win, but we’ve won a few times out of the thousands we’ve played it. Aggravating but for some reason we play it anyway.

This is our fav solitaire game. We take back our 5-star review…. The app is not giving us credit for winnings game.

We would say it is a cool game except there’s a point where we get annoyed when we can’t ever win a game except once every 40 tries. We’ve played this game elsewhere and we’re really good at it. But this game makes it way too difficult to win.

Please fix this game so it is played like the real card game!! It could be great real once this is corrected. This does not play like the REAL pyramid card game.

Good fun. Would be nice to be able to go back one.

It would be nice to have different backgrounds and cards but overall it is a nice pyramid game.

We enjoy the game but wish you could match cards that are on top of each other. Being able to undo would be nice.

J’aimerais que l’on puisse jumeler des cartes qui se sont l’une sur l’autre!

It would be good if you could move a pair when they are on top of each other. When you play with actual cards, you are able. Also, it would be nice to be able to go back one. Otherwise it is a fun game.

Good, simple game. Can get frustrating when long periods of not winning — but that’s solitaire for you.
