We love jumping in daily to play a few puzzles. They seem to be getting a little more challenging as you go on but thats great.
Our husband and we have played for 1162 weeks solid and we are on the last set and so sad there isnt any more. What do we do??? Please design some more in a hurry.

Loved this game for years. BUT, interrupting with an ad mid game! Never seen that before. Truly an obnoxious interruption and greedy. We have no objection to an ad between games, but when we stop to think for less then ten seconds and find a thirty second ad where the game was. No thank you.
This game is ours and our husbands nightly ritual. For over 1200 days consecutively we have played the daily password and daily crossword. We have never played a game this long, but this one is our favorite.
We like this game, however the ads are too long and freeze up. They will not go away, so we deleted the game..a real shame.
There is no way to delete them and they do not go away. We have over 1200 days in a row but this could make us look elsewhere.
We have had this app for years. We used to love doing the puzzles, and this was a good app for just that with minimal ads. Now, this app has a million other things on it, constant pop ups you cant close, and too many ads. We just want to do our word puzzles but its getting unbearable. We get an ad every time we finish or exit a puzzle, its ridiculous. Now and then sure, but every time? And to get rid of ads its 99 a MONTH! We love the base game, wish we could go back 5 years and keep that version of the app.

Ive been playing this game for a while. We have a streak of 900+ days, so you can tell that we enjoy it a lot. Recently, however, our enjoyment has been waning a bit. We understand the need for ads on a free app, but the amount of ads has gone up so that we cant even play without watching an ad first! Not only that, but they are unskippable ads for gambling or cryptocurrency. We really think you should vet your ads more closely. We dont mind watching an ad for another game, but casino ads can do a lot of harm.

Been playing for several years and we just dont tire of it. We love challenging ourselves to complete a puzzle via the extra letters and our own knowledge. We sometimes ask our husband for help and then HE gets caught up in it. Ads arent intrusive, no constant popups . A great time all around.
We love this game but, a lot of the times when we watch an add for power ups it takes away some of them. We would give this a 5 star if it gets fixed we play it everyday basically and have like a 40 day play streak we just dont think it should take away your power up that you watched to get!! We are updating our review bc the Cody cross team responded and helped us and said they would try to fix the issue we are having they did also give us a couple of extra power ups for our lost ones which was nice we also did let them know when it was happening most and hopes it helps to fix it in case anyone else is having the same issue as us.
Ive been playing for years and really enjoy the variety. We are a little confused about the scoring of the pages in the library; doesnt make sense to us yetmaybe a revised explanation would help? Another minor suggestion: consider putting the Achievements in reverse order to eliminate scrolling thru long list. One comment: we appreciate that the ads enable us to play for free, but we have to wonder if the advertisers really think we are going to be interested in their product or change our mind after X-ing out 1, 2, 3, 4, or even 5 times? Just makes us more determined not to consider their product.
We wish it wouldnt constantly ask if we want to watch a video for gifts. The way its prompted blocks a part of the game. Super annoying.
Problem One of your ads is a blank white screen. It has a 30 second timer in the bottom left corner that doesnt move. That is all thats on the page. We have to reboot the program to continue. Otherwise we enjoy the game and play everyday.
Love this game but the lingerie commercials have gotten completely out of control.
For the past 3-4 months, Ive been losing rewards in the middle of watching the ads. Either the ad freezes the game and we have to close the app, the screen goes black, OR the app itself closes, which just happened , and it doesnt reset to give us the reward we earned by watching the videos Please focus on fixing this. And in the meantime, how about putting some additional looking glass points in our account for the time Ive invested and the hassle this is.
It is getting to be very boring game lately whats up with it.
At first, we tolerates the numerous ads, which were mostly multiple ads in a row about that King Richard game. Every time we wanted to p,ay, we had several minutes of ads. Annoying and unnecessary. Not worth it. Im deleting the app. Youre wasting our time.
Our wife and we play this game on a daily basis, and always look forward to the books that give us interesting little facts. The new system for unlocking the books is completely asinine though. It turned a simple system into a randomized mess that makes getting even one book exceedingly difficult.

We love this game, and dont mind the actual ads. But when it tells us it wants information to get Amazon gift cards, free McDonalds food or money, we start to get a bit suspicious. The screen doesnt give the x to close it so we have to close the game and try again. It gets old after a while. If it gets to bad we will delete game. Thanks.

We loved this game. We had been playing it for years and really enjoyed it – until the last update. We tried continuing to play but just hated the changes. We finally deleted the game. Thanks for the memories.
This game is funBUT why do we have to update every time we finish one world? Why cant we just enter the next world? And as of June 9, 2025, we still havent been able to enter New world . There is no update needed. Why cant we enter New World.
The game is great however the fact that every day it is either extremely slow in recognizing and crediting us with completing the puzzle, often forcing us to abandon it and then requiring us to pay to get credit for what we already did in order to keep our streak going as well as frequently telling us we are not on line when we are is frustrating to the point that its just not worth the trouble.
We own this game & really love playing it. However, the latest updates on the bookshelves is a nuisance. Too much fiddling just to get daily points & get to playing the game. Simpler is better. We are not a fan.
We do NOT like the changes. Before, you could use bitz to finish books. Now if you try to do that, you get random pages (many of which you dont need) that end up in a folder of extra pages. Liked it better before.
We have been playing this game for years but your latest upgrade ruined it. It takes us to a new library and there is no way to get past it. We tried deleting and reloading it but it does the same thing. Just as well we guess since we recently lost our 500 + day streak. Time to find something else to play.
Why have you changed things to make it so hard to earn books.
We love the game!! Only issue is that we play on our Apple iPad and REALLY wish we can change the screen orientation to landscape instead of portrait. We have gone to possible change the setting both on the game and device with no luck. Is it even an option.
We think this game is especially good for senior citizens as it makes you recall words, people, events, etc that you havent thought about in years. Like we stated in the titleit gets your brain working.
We downloaded this game about two hours ago. Ive had a lot of fun figuring out the crosswords. Unfortunately, we are one of those (very) impatient people, but sitting down and doing stuff like this is a lot of fun. If you enjoy words searches, traditional crossword puzzles, or games like wordle, youll enjoy CodyCross. Ive completed almost 3 of the sets today. We really really enjoy this. But theres one problem. The ads. We understand Im going to get ads in everything if we dont pay. But this game, fortunately, doesnt have many ads. Usually after completing a level or two. We enjoy this game and we think we can guarantee you will.
A friend recommended this and we tried it and enjoyed it. It makes you think and doesnt have too many ads.
The McDonalds ad cannot be clicked off and it is very annoying. You need to fix it or allowing ad to show.

Love the game we will say we hate the amount of ads there are though after every puzzle you complete theres an ad and it gets annoying but the game is super fun and keeps our mind busy especially when we need to not focus on the time its like we can just play this game and our mind gets completely taken off of whatever we were worrying about or thinking about love the game just wish there were a few less ads but at the same time we feel like thats a problem with every game so.
We like the game but we frequently get irritated about being forced to check out every new thing before we can play a game. If we wanted to go look, we would.
We love to play this game. Its entertaining and educational as well. The devs have been super supportive also. Our only complaint is that sometimes theres an ad that pops up on the bottom of the screen and prevents us from being able to choose from the last row of letters and we have to restart the game.
