If you remember the boardgame MasterMind from the 70s, youll immediately recognize this game. We absolutely love it. Game play is smooth and even with ads they are minimal. The only issue Im having is that we cant figure out how to switch difficulty levels. Theres no instructions for it that we can see and no option to switch the level.
We promise you will have tons of fun with this one.

The ads wont let us close them. An x appears in the corner after a couple of seconds of an ad appearing, but does nothing when we touch on it. We have to exit the app every time an ad pops up just to keep playing.
Its a great game good for your brain and lots of good thinking its also a good game if you have nothing to do and play it with friends.
VERY easy to play in one-player mode, & the play variations are very sensible & reflect the spirit of the original mastermind game. Its visually presented in a stylish, but not over-bearing, manner without unnecessary bells & whistles. Good job.
Not only is this the same as the classic board game, but it has NO annoying ads. Individual games play quickly and its always a mental challenge.

We discovered this game in the 70s as MasterMind, and loved it immediately. With this app we dont have to have someone scoring our moves; its great for having to wait in line or in the John.
We get bored of games easily and delete them, but this mind puzzle game has been a keeper. We like being able to choose the level of difficulty through different settings and the design is nice. The adds arent as intrusive as other game apps (they only happen when you tap new game).

If you want to play the game, this app works. The UI is plain and simple which we like.
This game is fun and has the advantage of being able to rearrange the balls after you place them. We tried two other mastermind code games where we wasnt able to change the balls if we made a mistake. We would have given it 5 stars if it wasnt for the fact that the app blocks out podcast and music apps. The game itself also doesnt have any sound at all.
Good game but we really wish there was a way to see all the rows without having to scroll up and down. Its frustrating.
The latest update has ruined this app. We used to be able to play most games on super hard in less than 40 seconds. Now, the response time is so slow it nearly always takes more than a minute. Wish we hadn't updated the app.
Used to love this as a kid now we've got it on our phone and have for a long time! We gave it a 5 star until they updated it for the new IOS. Now after EVERY GAME, an add pops up! Don't mind the constant banner, didn't even mind the adds when opening or closing the game, but now an add at every screen change? TOO MUCH! Time to delete.

Sometimes, just randomly, it skips an entire guess and forces you to put the colors on the row above where you're supposed to be. This game would easily be 5 stars if this problem was fixed. Every time it skips a guess, we're forced to reset the game because we don't want it to say that we used one more "guess" than we actually used. Once, it skipped two out of eight guesses in the same game.
All this game is missing is the ability to let us play two player.
A great little mobile version of the classic game. A nice set of options to make the game easier or more challenging, and a game doesn't take long so you can sneak one in anytime. Our main complaint is that the leaderboard rankings which are based on least-time-ever and least-guesses-ever, uselessly rewards luck rather than careful play, which an average-guess-count-over-all-games formula would.
We really enjoy playing this game and have not encountered any problems with it, but we have one complaint: the game does not allow us to simultaneously listen to music from our device at the same time as playing the game. We would have given it 5 stars if it did, as this is an important feature for us.

We like this app. It is a game like mastermind and a game full of stragety! It is really fun! But we don't like how you can only have 12 turns. We think there should be more. Otherwise we give this game 5 stars.
The app is great but we were really bummed that we couldn't play multiplayer. We would rate this app 5 stars if the multiplayer button worked.
We enjoy playing mastermind (the original name of this game) but we could rarely convince our family to play with us. Now with this app, we don't need our family to sacrifice their time to play a game with us. On the other hand though, another player is nice to have, but the multiplayer option is broken. Our brother and we have both hit "Play Now" but it hasn't synced up. We tried inviting, but that didn't work either.
Dev forgot to put in a way for users to change their guess after placing peg and before submitting pegs for feedback. The volume doesn't work. Also he has mixed up the 'on' and ' off' symbols in the settings. This app has received the most downloads bc it is the first in the search list for 'mastermind' game. The app is badly built, and there are annoying adds.
It's just a little to hard for us to understand what it's telling you. We are just a kid that is 8 years old and this game is 4+ we can't believe it's 4+ and we can't even understand what it's telling us!!!well it is embarrassing to say that we're 8 and we can't understand the point of the game in public,but whoever made this game is making us say so!!!im so sad.
To play with someone next to you, you have to start in such a particular way or it doesn't work. Even if you get the game to pair up it still may crap out on you. Don't even think about answering a text. Fix the bugs and we'll love it.

The app keeps going completely black and freezing.
The game will not allow you to move pieces.
Quits all the time unexpectedly or if your screen goes dark for a second. And rules not like original.
Major flaw. Once you place a piece, that's where it's going. We can't play this game if we're not allowed to move pieces around. Uninstalled.
The feedback is incorrect but worse, it changes. Example: 1) place 4 red; ans. 1 black. Ok. We assume that if all are red and one is in the right place the other three are right color because they're the same. 2) place 4 blue; ans. No white or black. Blue is not in the secret code. 3) place 2 blue and 2 red; ans. 1 black and 1 white? Why does red get a black and a white this time? We know blue is out. If red is now being answered with a black and a white then it ought to have gotten three whites first test or on test number 3, black only. Sloppy programming, shouldn't this strange caveat be in the game rules?Glad we didn't pay for this.
Where's the help button :c we think we know what those circle things are but we're not sure. It's confusing. /: overall it's fun even though we don't know what im doing… :D.
