Definitely worth your money . We loved every bit of this game ,, definitely had a fun time playing along with our friend !! Some parts are confusing and definitely pay attention to detail.
This game is more like a visual novel but its still a really good one. Its about a group of high school students who perform a friendship charm they found on the internet in hopes that they will stay friends forever, but of course it goes wrong. They all end up being transported to a haunted elementary school full of spirits and dead bodies, split up into groups, and nearly all of the windows and doors leading outside are fake or cannot be opened. The voice acting is great and really brings the characters to life, the soundtrack is pretty nice too.
Cute,creepy,bloody,weird,gross,pixel,horror. WHO GIVES AN CRAP we LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!

Happy to finally have one of our favorite video games on our phone thanks to the sale you had, and everything is going perfectly for us so far other than the fact that its pretty sped up, making the characters walk pretty fast which sometimes makes it difficult to navigate, but other than that…5 stars!
The game is fully voice acted; the voice acting is consistently superb; it has innumerable different "wrong" endings, many of which are detailed in nature and feel like proper, possible alternative endings throughout the game, but for the finale especially. The game feels like it could end with any number of those endings. Some endings are basically the same, but this cant be a criticism when there is even one alternative ending which is properly done, since most games out there offer little to nothing in terms of branching in the story-line. We didn’t feel attracted to any one character, but to the total of the cast. Its as if they were part of a larger whole. We cant say that any one of them were singularly unique, but when you take them as pieces of a larger circle they are worth much more to the audience. They have worth to us in virtue of placing worth in each other. This game executes mystery and horror masterfully, much in the same way as Steins; Gate, but with the added bonus that its more "playable", is fully voice acted, has a ton of "branching" in the story-line. Most of all we were intrigued because of the setting. If all the same characters were trapped in a natural place by live people then we probably wouldn’t have become so engrossed in the game. We wanted to know more about the world, about what held it together, and ultimately discover the way out of it. We also felt a continuing sense of hopelessness going through the game, which kept us absorbed in the proceedings. No other game designer studios that we know makes such brilliant stories. A world riddled with dangers, from which you cant escape, in which you cant stay alive, and wherein if you die you will continue experiencing the anguish you felt at the moment of your death forever: there is no rest for someone in this world. Plot devices such as the darkening, and specifically possession gave the game even more flavor without exaggerating, since too many writers don’t know how to implement possession too well. The game had an emotionally thick atmosphere which at times made us look to our surroundings with some fear from what might be lurking in the shadows. Having beaten the game we only wish we could erase all memory of it and do so again. We wasn’t in an environment fit to absorb this masterpiece to its fullest extent, since our spouse kept bothering us and we had other things on our mind. But for all of that we are very impressed with Corpse Party, and count it among the best examples of storytelling there is. These are just some things to note. This is by no means an exhaustive review. We bought this game when it was on sale a few weeks ago, but we only started playing it a few days ago, and finished it on the third day of play (which is today as we’re writing this review, on the 25th of September). Thus we spent considerably less than you would if you bought it now. The price tag might put people off but if you read dialogue and are interested in seeing through the game in all its possible endings, you could easily end up investing 30 hours + on this game. If you’re the kind of person who likes skipping dialogue, then you shouldn’t be playing this kind of game.
Hands down, this is one of the most skillfully crafted, and fun games we have ever played. The plot is very enjoyable, and you will find yourself loving each member of the cast, as they each have their own beautiful story, waiting to be told. The graphics are good, the art is very well made, and the whole game has an amazing atmosphere for itself. We enjoyed this game, and we would reccomend it to anyone.
Anyway you all could make it available for the newer phones? We bought it for our iPad and its like the screen doesnt celebrate our touch correctly. Anyway thanks for a great game!
So basically when we get to The Who seiko hanging scene when we tried placing the bucket it says she died then three ghosts appear and we get the scissor ending is there a way around that?
We wasnt expecting this to be so enjoyable. Im only just venturing into the world of phone games and this was pleasantly surprising. We didnt experience any bugs. Gameplay was smooth. Story was fun. Great overall.
We honestly love this game. It’s hands down our favorite horror game of all time. But just buy it on PSVita and make sure you play them all in order do not play Book Of Shadows or Blood Drive first. It’ll ruin the story for you.
This game has the story, the music, and the lore to be a top notch game that would be worth $40 as a handheld full price game. $20 for this game is a steal, Id highly recommend.
This game runs exactly like it does on the computer, Im completely surprised at how well it does. We expected a kind of knockoff or failed attempt to try it, but it is EXACTLY the same. Completely worth the money and for those who want to play Corpse Party but cant because they own a Mac, this is a very good alternative!
We absolutely love this game. We’ve seen different play-throughs, read the manga, and watched the anime, but we’ve never gotten the chance to play it myself, and it is a blast. We just love the characters and the plot of it all, it’s really well made. The only thing we saw was a glitch in Chapter 3, where the game would crash every time we left the music room.

This game will make us SO mad. But we love this game. We cant find glitches and the price was really good for such a great game!
We revisited our review to say the bugs we mentioned now appear fixed, however the text in EX Ch. 5 clearly was not proofread. We added one more star for finally fixing what was broken, withholding a star because this game is clearly not getting love from the localizers. ——————————- This is a great game, but unfortunately an incomplete product. There are 2 bugs we’ve encountered: one where none of the St. Maryanne’s Academy name tags are recorded, and the other is that the game crashes in EX Chapter 5. Please fix these, and we’ll throw in the other 2 stars this game deserves.
This is basically the exact same game as the PSP Version, but a few things… Bother us. One: the typeface is set to either Arial or Times New Roman, one of the two. It doesnt really look good at all. Two: The game is seemingly locked at like, 300 FPS. Everything is way too fast, to the point where the Wrong End screen gets cut off VERY fast. Otherwise, its the same game with relatively few changes.
We’ve had the game for years – kudos for it still running despite several OS updates – but now when we play it the character walks at double speed for some reason, making it harder to control. We dont recall this being the case in the past. The game is still great after all this time.
Corpse Party is an Adventure Horror Game originally for PSP. The game is excellent but this version has one problem, and it’s not the virtual controls. An extremely annoying bug makes EX Chapter 5 unplayable. For that reason, we recommend the original game or the upcoming Nintendo 3DS version, which has extra content.
We saw this game on berleezy channel and we fell in love with it we wanted to play the game but Cant finish chapter 1, every time and we get out of the infirmary Im brought to the seiko bathroom scene and killed by three ghosts in the end we know that isnt supposed to happen and also the joystick is hard to control which makes running away or dodging the ghosts hard please fix this bug we really want to play this game. If it werent for that we probably give this five stars.
Love this game, played it when we were younger on our PSP and its exactly the same version. The only thing we hate is that it keeps crashing!! Itll keep crashing right after we get Yuka to safety in chapter 5 when theres a whole bunch of scenes so we cant save. So we keep having to start over and get away from Kurosaki only to have it crash and not save.
We’ve played this game on the psp and pc so we decided to give this a try on the phone. Our biggest complaint were the controls, it makes the game unplayable and the fact they wont allow you to refund your almost $20 you spend to get this game is rubbish.
Please update this game compatible for the X. Even if it’s just to make the bars bigger, anything is better than the smaller screen caused by the home bar. This game is amazing and the story has captivated us. We find myself obsessed with the story and devour any bit of information we can find on it. The characters are full of development. We recommend playing both games on the app store. They’re both well worth it and feel like full games. Not at all like the IAP junk that releases daily and are killing the gaming industry. If you hate them as much as we do, buy both these games that deserve it. Stop spending money on those games that charge $5 for a character that could be a repeat 3*. Book of Shadows (the sequel) does not yet have an English version, but there’s not much a reason for it not to be. It’s already translated on the PSP. Please release the second game in English. It is pretty much all text without the same gameplay as this one but I’d still like to play it.
Wow, why are they in hyper mode? The characters move way too fast it kinds ruins the experience a little bit. The later chapters seem to crash a bit, usually in the larger intersections of the school Please make a speed setting that more closely resembles the original.
The screen is pitch black during cutscenes and intro, and it doesnt fit our screen. We’ve played this game on a psp, but on our iphone its really buggy. Hopefully it will get fixed!
If you want the whole story you will need to read Japanese. This is the only game in the series aside for the last one that’s in English.
We cant even play the game! We spent 18$ on this game and we cant even get passed the introduction cause it keeps crashing over and over and over! This is not right! 18$ and we cant even play it! This on an iPhone X.

We cant get past the home page when the Game Center pop up comes up. We keep restarting the app and it goes through the intro and music but once we press to start, the Game Center pop up comes on and is an unresponsive screen. Worst $2 ever spent. Definitely a rip off!
We are having issues with data not saving, the intro screen being black while audio is playing, and the game itself not being fitted to our screen on our device. Our phone is the IPhone X, a newer phone with an updated OS! Please fix this!
For some reason it wont let us finish chapter 1. No matter what we do or what choices we make, it ends up killing our characters and saying bad ending when we have no idea why. It also cuts from when they leave the infirmary straight to the bathroom scene. If it does not get fixed soon Ill definitely be demanding a refund for our money.

There’s a glitch in chapter 5 when yuuya kizami is chasing yuka mochida and when yuka just enters a door kizami just goes in. Plz fix.
We love the game and it’s fun but their is a bug in chapter 3 when you try to get the note from the teachers desk it crashes so we can’t go any further in the story, please fix soon.
We accedently bought the japanese version so we needed to buy this version. $20.00 well spent!
An overall excellent game that provides a great and unique experience for fans of horror Japanese animation. Hopefully we will get to see more English adaptions. The developers also want us to have a 5/5 experience!

We love the game to death, definitely worth the 20$, but, we happened tp notice in chapter 1, some places in the hallways dont have music, and we watched people play the game, and the hallways always have music. Thats the only problem we had and it would be amazing if you could fix it!
As the title says, this game is wonderful! We’ve loved Corpse Party ever since we were introduced to it, so to be able to finally play it is like a dream come true. However, the game does have a few bugs, nothing major. The biggest issues for us were our inability to get all of the name tags of corpses in the chapters. We do hope that that is eventually fixed. Also, there would be times when the game would glitch out, i.e. Textures would appear over the characters, and when the game would freeze while the sounds and voices would continue as normal. But, this game was well worth the 20$ that we spent on it.
This has to be one of our favorite games ever! If you love a little gore mixed in with mystery then buy this game right this second!!! We just wish that Book of Shadows and Blood Drive were on here in English too. We don’t have a PSP or PSVITA so we can’t really play either of them….

This is amazing and Gory and terrifying and we freaking loved it! Five stars skill is required in this game though.
We are a-Ohkay paying so much for a game, if it deserves it. Hopefully we get an iOS Book of Shadows English release as well.
We know $20 is very steep but keep in mind this is a port of a full length PSP game. We think people who don’t know what to expect are going to be surprised by this game. In short this is a fun game, with an amazing story that gradually gets more complicated, theres great characters, solid voice acting along with an entertaining soundtrack that compliments all the creepy atmosphere of the game. This game has it all, horror, comedy, romance, it will make you laugh, quiver in fear, maybe even cry. But what do you expect… Its Corpse Party. 5/5.
