Hello Loyal Cribbage Fans! This update is for important bug fixes.

Cribbage Pro Review

No frills, no BS, no micro transactions, no deliberately obnoxious monetization strategies, just quality matchmaking, authentic experience, and an intuitive UI. You get an ad after every match unless you pay a totally reasonable amount to remove them, and then you never pay again. This is the kind of development and business that built the mobile apps ecosystem, and its sadly becoming more and more rare. Doing the lords work with this one.

This is an excellent version of the game. More often then not the play is true to the strategy of the game. Sometimes the games get a little "streaky" when you are victimized by a barrage of 12, 14, 16 etc. Point hands by the "opponent" and you question the randomness of the cards. But if you play correctly you can hold your own against the "brutal" level and the game is a fun way of passing the time! Recently the game seems to be a little bit more random if not skewed in your favor. Maybe it’s our imagination since our winning streaks at the "brutal" level are improving. It’s still a lot of fun and a great way to while away the hours but there isn’t anything worse than ending the game in the "stink hole".

We love Cribbage, it is our favorite game to play !!!!!!!!!!!!

Better by far than another Cribbage site out there.

Like how you stop playing and return to resume game.

We decided to learn new games during the pandemic. Cribbage has been great! We love it!

We use to like this app but this newest update has some glitches. For example, the game freezes requiring us to forfeit, as a consequences we are prevents fom starting or joining another game for 5 min. Lets say our connection is lost, we are prevented from starting or joining another game for 5 minutes. We need to find a new cribbage app.

Any time Im waiting or in break, we can use cribbage pro to help the time go by and enhance our cribbage skills.

We do not believe the cards are chosen at random (multiplayer) we could be disillusioned but we’ve never seen so many big hands in games in all of our years playing (20+) Does not seem natural. Still fun to play.

This is a great app for playing cribbage, especially when you want to play against other players and we like the different difficulty settings, however they have recently overrun the app with Pro Trump ads. In fact, every single ad is in support of Trump. Forcing a political figure (a terrible one at that) down our throats if we want to use your app is very much not ok.

We dont believe their randomness is random at all. Too many 20+ hands late in the game. Every time we both ate at 120 it will pair our play, every time, ridiculous. It cheats plain and simple.

We purchased the ads free option for $2.99 and there are still ads. Reached out to the developer.

Both on and off line options are horrible. Brutal games totally unrealistic! On line,Depending on how the program feels depends if youre going to win or not. We’ve had games run 50 points ahead and all of a sudden our opponent in just two hands flies by us and wins the game. Today is happened four times in a row. That cannot happen and does not happen in real life ,really bummed out. We hope you can straighten things out. Also, when you do win and win big the opponent usually bashes you. The rating should be eliminated from the opponent. So that you cannot get bashed.

Every hand ends with a poorly crafted Trump advertisement designed to scare and deceive. Almost like they put specifically stupid ads to try to make you pay for the ad free version. No thanks, oh and the game is rigged for the comp.

We were trying to learn cribbage and the developers response tipped the scales towards this app. We were in stitches. Then the app was exactly what we were looking for.

We find it challenging and enjoyable. Seems to be balanced hands not just always for the computer.

We have really enjoyed this cribbage version for a long time.

Need to give points for a flush.

We would give you five stars, unfortunately just recently went online to play a quick game of cribbage and encountered some control freak trying to say we were playing to slow. Turns out we dont care about him or you whoever you are! We think you need to stop the online Nazi program.

Great way to sharpen up your skills after years of non practice. It does seem on the challenging level that the opponent wins most often which can be frustrating.

The app really helps learning the basics.

The game needs a 4 person online version.

It is fast and fun. We like it. Must play on highest level.

The app is easy to teach others cribbage. Most others count so fast you cant teach someone how to count.

Awesome. The only thing we would do is make the count display larger and more prominent. We would also like a setting where each player has to type what they believe their score should be the any additional points would go to the other player.

Almost as good as playing in person. Best cribbage app!

Fantastic game, only one issue. In multiplayer mode, the end game menu pops up before you can see your, and your opponents, hand and crib scoring.

We really enjoy this app! We really recommend it if youre looking for a quick cribbage fix.

Finally, an honest cribbage game, we’ve tried all of them.

We completely agree with Glickstars review. The brutal level has just meant the computer receives a ridiculous number of twenty-point hands. It doesnt mean you are getting a chance to use skill in a fair game. It is still a fun game to play.

Also frustrating because when you are playing an opponent the game deletes your view of the winning hand and your opponents hand once a victory is secured.

Very well written program. We wish they would show the summary data at the end of each game.

We try to set the time in a multi player game to 60seconds and it will not let us do it.

Before getting in-depth, we have to say that this is our favorite cribbage game. The ads arent bad enough for us to buy the full version yet, gameplay is quick and mostly smooth, the stats tracker, multiplayer, and customizability are excellent features that work well and are very generously given for free. A lot of people complain about unfair computer matches. We’ve played 370 games between challenging and brutal and have won 42% of them. We’ve played 248 brutal games and have won 38%. That number would be higher if we hadnt made occasional mistakes or taken losses on a game that is an obvious loss (poor sportsmanship, we know, but hard to turn around a game with a 30+ point deficit with the PC on 4th street). Overall, we feel that the game is fair given the difficulty of the brutal PC. Keep in mind that this opponent thinks more moves ahead than you, never makes mistakes, will take calculated risks on a good cut based on card population at a higher level than you, and will peg you into the floor. Its a computer after all, and its like playing against an opponent who can count cards. Despite this inherent difficulty, we dont feel that the game is rigged or poorly programmed and heres why: Shuffling cards by hand is not truly random. The two halves of the deck get mixed but each card in that half only gets separated from its prior neighbor by 1-3 positions up or down. Hardly random, if you ask us. Playing with a truly randomly shuffled deck based off an atmospheric noise algorithm is always going to feel different, and we think many people confuse that different feeling for the game itself being skewed or rigged. Besides, the choice is yours: play on challenging and feel good about yourself, or play on brutal and feel yourself get faster and better over time. The multiplayer is great. There are lots of settings for starting a room, or you can join on another players room, seeing all those settings before you join. There is always a game to join, theres a ranking system, chat, and despite that theres really no toxic players. Most people understand the random nature of cribbage and will toss you a good game or have a laugh with you about a game that ended up being lopsided due to the luck of the draw. All of this is free, and well worth the download. We were good at cribbage before we grabbed this game, and we’ve only gotten better having played it. Its perfectly quick for on the go and despite maybe having a few rough edges, has zero bloat or excessive fat to it. Its lean, fast, straightforward and easy to learn or play at a high level, and most importantly will improve your gameplay, especially on brutal. Dont fear the skunk. Get good, get better, then get even. Remember the rules about flushes in the hand vs. In the crib. Think about the likelihood of cutting an ace thru nine vs cutting a ten based on what you have in your hand. Dont be afraid to take a chance for a good cutyou might just get it.

Had an issue with removing ads – was pleasantly surprised to find a quick, effective response from the developer in less than 24 hours – To us anyway, thats unusual, and the sign of a good outfit. Thank you.

Computer averages 15 points per hand , two 21 point hands per game and hits the cut card every time . They do let you win 1 out of 5 . Ill keep playing.

So we love playing. Love that is shows the scores. We have had cribbage pro on our phone for years. It disappeared recently. Now the only way to get back to it is to go to the app store and open it. Id give it a five if we could get it back on our phone.

The interface we hate. Its like playing a bad video poker in a casino. It is fast, too fast and the interface is in our view is hard to follow. We have another cribbage game where the pace is like playing another player, the cards are animated as they are dealt, the board is 3D, it is a more realistic feeling of playing against a real player. You have a moment to catch up between deals. But the randomness of the deal is very suspect, there are just way too many winning hands. This game we find myself always looking around as to what just happen. We dont like the screen layout or the pace of play. It has the programming done right we just hate the screen layout. Maybe if we play it more we might get use to the interface, but we are not sure. Plus the board is 2D and the pegs are a bad 3D, so we find it hard to track. So even though the dealing is more like a real deck, if find myself playing the other game because it plays at a more pleasant pace.

This is an excellent app, but the ads after each game are so loud and annoying that we had to switch to another app. It wouldnt be so bad if the developer would keep the ads silent when our phone is on silent mode, but no… Blaring ads to disturb those around you if you forget to turn you volume all the way down before the end of the game. Same annoying ad for years by the way.

Unrealistically good cards and hands to the dealer. We like the challenge of brutal mode but seems stacked in the dealers favor too often. Good to learn the basics but not play for more than a few months. Also, you get charged on every platform you use to get rid of ads. So you pay twice at least, once for IPhone and once for IPad. Dont delete the app either and then reload it, youll get charged AGAIN if you want ads removed.

This game doesnt know how to count the points in this game. Not worth looking at!

The game does not credit you with two wins for a double skunk.

Had to delete this game because they allowed trump to pay for advertisements. Disgusting.

The sounds for the cards and pegs dont work. They did work but now they dont. After purchasing the full version the support team stopped helping.

Computer cheats when you beat him a few games. Not random.

We love this game so much and could not believe what the other people said this game is so fun!!! BTW its not rigged.
