This app is amazing! We wouldnt be able to play dont starve without it, truly. We are really bad at memorization, and along with that: we tend to go through phases where we dont play for months even years. Remembering all the recipes is a pain and this app makes the game, actually playable without wasting ingredients.
The App is the best crockbook we have ever used! But we think its missing some recipes like amberosia. Please update it as often as possible, it is the best crockbook ever.
Love being able to sort by stats and very much enjoying the quality pictures. The option to toggle Warly, Shipwrecked, Hamlet, etc. Is also very thoughtful! Even the crockpot emulator and little Yaarctopus guide is such a good addition, we went ad free with no regrets. Thank you for keeping this up to date, too.
They dont update anymore so recipes arent added or edited.
Its just good recipes and the bad ones if you get mad at the ads put on to airplane mode good guide.
The problem is that we cant read the top of it because there is an ad that we cant seem to move. It could be our fault we suppose, but we dont know. If you know how we can fix this issue please let us know. We do love the fact that we can get recipes for the Dont starve game. We just started to play the game & we really like! Though we keep getting killed- hahaha.
Great app but the ads block the top of the screen.
They put a banner over the top which blocks all the settings and options and makes it unusable without paying to remove it.
We understand that most games/apps have ads. But the top inch of the screen is blocked by an ad and you cant see the most important information. Even after reporting the ad to get it to go away it just reads AD CLOSED BY GOOGLE in its place. We would even be willing to pay for an ad free option. But no such things exists for this app. Great concept, TERRIBLE ADS.
Ads cover the entire top portion of the screen rendering the app useless. Shame people let ads ruin their apps.
We just downloaded this and theres an ad bar at the top of the screen that you cant X out of. When youre trying to plug in ingredients, you cannot see the outcome. So basically this app is useless.
Ads cover areas of the screen you need to see with no ability to remove them. Overall just a poor app.
Its blocking the vision please change the spot where are ads or make it smaller.
You missed a food and a recipe the for get us lots and the soothing tea.
This is an amazing app good for lots of info on how to cook recipes as well as allowing a new player to test what Ingredients will make what so they can put that to use. BUT, it is a little behind on some recipes sense the lunar grotto update. We also think that it could use a tab where you could see individual info on the ingredients themselves as well as cook time along with the Health, sanity, and hunger stats. Besides it being a little outdated and few changes we personally think would be beneficial to the app and the users who use it is a great app and definitely deserves 4-5 stars we appreciate the time that went into making this app.
Its missing recipes and the ad at the top covers half of the space where u add items to see what they make. We used to use this a long time ago and it was a life saver and now we kind of cant.
If youd just put the ad in a better spot youd have more downloads and users. You cant even see what your clicked on meaning the health mentality etc and its so hard to even click on it cause you have the ad in the most stupidest spot it goes right over what you need to click to change books.
We get the need for ads on a free app but the placement of said ads is across the top (at least for our phone) so its kinda pointless if we cant see a lot of the information due to a literal ad wall.
The advertisements block the view of the recipe. The menu button is blocked by the corner of the screen. So you can select items, but you cant see the result.

This app is unusable on iPhone X and newer with curved corners. The developer is not laying out the screen properly. It requires a $5 in app purchase to remove it to view the content that is being obscured. Totally lame.
Ads cover important content and information when using the app for IOS. Download the other app instead. We dont mind adds but the disregard for usability is ridiculous. Its actually inconvenient to use the app. Especially since this information is available online.

Garbage, developer put an ad right over the top of the filters for hunger, health, and sanity dishes. When youre in a rush in a game of DST you will hit the ad and have to watch it for 30 seconds defeating the point of the app. We would have paid $1 to just get a little guild without having to tab out on the computer but you blew it.
Easy to use and simple. Its really nice how you can change the order of recipes by health hunger and sanity, and the crockpot simulation is really helpful. We only have a couple of suggestions. Do you think you can add the amount of time it takes to cook? Its not necessarily gamechanging but it would be nice info to have. Also, we think that having individual foods (mushrooms, morsels, berries, etc) stats would be a really great addition to the app. Its important to make sure whatever you cooking is cost efficient, so your not waisting your food resources. Really great app overall, and we would recommend it too any dont starve fans.
This is a useful app we would give this a 4.5 star rating but we cant so we made it a 5 star the ability to see the recipe for every crockpot recipe and the ability to put in the items to see what you would get is really useful because we always have our phone to check Im making what Im trying to make its just a useful app it does its job its really useful.
Love this App. It definitely helped us figure out what to make, since the recipes include tips. Will be using it for our warly run.
You should add leafy meat recipes. Other than that its a pretty good app.
This app is handy but it is way outdated, need more ingredients and recipes.
It needs the newer recipes, Im nt sure if they were added but there are mre new recipes fr DST, Als invlving leafy meat.
The app is amazing for helping you cook in dst, but many of the new recipes are not in the app. It would be nice if it was updated to include all of the newer recipes.
Just needs rock fruit and a way to just search up food from the menu for ease of access.
We find your app very helpful. Please review on modern iPhones, as your app does not accommodate the notch or rounded corners. Settings would be appreciated to change the font. Being able to identify the ingredient items in the grid would be great.
We dont mind ads we get that they are necessary for revenue but when the ads make the app hard to see/use its pretty bad.
The app design and functionality are amazing and we would love to use it, but the ads are horrendous is pop-up frequency and duration. We would gladly pay for this app with no ads. As it is, you cant even use it without frustrations, irritation and regrets. Design A+, but not useable while playing.
Excellent app, we use it all the time and it helps with recipes especially since theyve added the crockpot simulator. But about that, did you know you can actually put stonefruit in the crockpot? We didnt find this out until yesterday, but yes you can, so if the creator reads this can you please add stonefruit to the crockpot simulator.
Ive been a fan of Dont Starve for years, and apps like these are especially handy for any player. Although the Samsung/Android version of this is much better in terms of overall information. To make this app 5 stars you would need to add individual information about each ingredient like they did. For example we could easily see what mushroom caps do to our health/sanity with out needing to search the Dont Starve Fandom for info. Overall very useful app, but we would like to see said request.
We can't find anything about this app on our settings. This is the first app that we found weird. It may turn on the locations, record our phone calls, or even open the front and back cameras without our notice. Developers, put the settings back, so that the phone can control.
The app is great, we play DST a lot and also ROG on mobile and this is great because it has saved so many of our worlds by making sure we dont make wet goop and starve because it was our last piece of food. Maybe there could be a feature where if you double tap a food item it shows you its stats and maybe a feature that says if youll get more or less of a stat from eating a dish and not individually eating.

Ads make it unusable. Click a couple recipes and youre stuck watching a long creepy political ad.
There's a banner ad that blocks the hunger health sanity and settings even after paying for no ads. This also makes it tricky when doing the custom crockpot feature where you put in the ingredients and it shows what they'll make. This is our only problem with this app, otherwise it's a 10 out of 10 in our books.
Crucial to the Dont Starve experience and an absolute god-send. Im so happy we have it.
This app has always been awesome to us. The latest two updates to incorporate Hamlet and a test crock pot made this app absolutely perfect to us. We are beyond happy with this. Its saved us multiple times. Thank you.
With this app we can have access to all the ingredients at our fingertips. It really helps a lot when play DS or DST cause you dont have to search online while in game. Ive seen a lot of people complaining about the amount of ads but to them we say deal with it, this is a free app if they want the full bundle just pay the man for his work of art.
Great app,really helpful with figuring out what we can make based on what currently in our inventory using the custom recipe options.One thing we hope gets fixed in the future is whenever we use the custom recipes it will often show us that it turns into one of Warlys dishes even when we have his recipes turned off in the settings.
Ive been using this app since 2015 when the whole dont starve set was only $5 on Steam. Its our favorite game and we have over 1,000 game hours. We love this app and was happy to pay $5 to the developer to continue updating the content and remove the ads. The developer keeps up with the expansions and updates. The art and sounds are all very DST and is a joy to use. We like that you can organize by heath, sanity, and hunger. Recommendations: -toggle on/off for Warlys recipes -add all of Warlys recipes -add all new crops and recipes from dst (garlic, potato, etc.) -option to click an item and see all possible recipes as recommended by other reviewers They did add the crockpot generator that many reviewers asked for. Works well. Highly recommended! Very convenient to have pulled up on the phone while playing on the PC. Try the free version and consider the $5 to help update content with all of Kleis many free game updates.
We absolutely love the simulated crockpot. That bumps this app from 4 to 5 stars! It makes our DS playthroughs so much less wasteful. <3.
Its a great app just need to update its recipe list cause its missing a lot. And make it able to type in like 1 item and it brings all the recipes that use that item.
Please add the new Warley character recipes, Im struggling with the recipes Would be so helpful to have them in here.
