We found this app when NYT locked their mini crossword. We play this app every day and we love it.
We were so angry when the NYT suddenly required a separate subscription just for the daily mini crossword. We cancelled our subscription totally and found these crosswords. We dont mind paying for something that gives us our moneys worth and Crossword+ sure does. We love the daily puzzles, but we also really enjoy the amazing variety and themes for all the other ones available. This will keep us busy for years. Dont hesitate. If you like crosswords, this is the app for you.

It is well worth the hour-plus (ok sometimes more) time it takes to complete a Star Crossword Puzzle. Definitely a mind sharpening game.
So far, so good. We have been doing these for a number of weeks and we play the hard one as we regularly do the New York Times crossword. These are comparable. We dont really care for the themed ones, but the normal ones are comparable. So far its been a great experience.
This is such a great game!! Im only 12 years old and it was easy but challenging at the same time!!! The only thing we didnt like is that you pretty much had to pay for everything even the daily crosswords.
We play several puzzles every day as part of our senior brain gym routine. We love the variety of themes and learn something from each of the fun facts revealed at the finish.

This is a very fun app to play.
One of the better crossword games out there.
Uses quite a bit of French and obscure movie trivia. Unknown actors etc. Otherwise not bad to solve in short time.
You gain knowledge, patience and out of the box.
The game is very nice, however the clues are somewhat obscure and they have too many names of actors/athletes/other that are hard to guess or to even know who they are. We would like to see more about geography, history, art, science and that on the average, a person heard or read at least once on those subjects.
What happened to the full daily crossword puzzle.

Found this looking for a different crossword and now its our favorite.
Ive tried several crossword apps and Crossword+ tops them all. Of course opinions & reviews are in the eye of the beholder. It is full of enough challenges to keep us thinking and plenty of success when we get it right.
Everyday we begin by doing a few CrossedWords to start our day get our bran shap and clear.

To enjoy all the crossword+ packs, youll need to pay for a premium subscription. Thats the only negative, the positive is that you get daily updates of puzzles which is not a bad bet and there are different varieties of themes with free crossword puzzles.
