It’s rated 9+ and currently has 144+ ratings on the App Store.
What Makes Crossword Stand Out
Play a large range of crosswords. All use the usual American style grids, such as is used in the NY Times, USA Today and many other newspapers
Note that all the answers and clues use US English spellings, and that the general knowledge clues are tailored for US players.
Features:
• You can zoom in & out of the grid, and move around, making it possible to play larger grids even on smaller screens
• There is a large range of built in grids, from sizes 11×11, 13×13 and 15×15 at different difficulty levels. Most have just 16% black squares, per the standard definition
• In addition a new grid of sizes up to 8×8 can be generated on-the-fly by the app, meaning unlimited games to play
• Many 1000's of clues, both straight and general knowledge
• Choose between US or UK English spellings
• General knowledge questions tailored to your country (currently US, UK, Australia and Canada)

This app is great! Easy to use, done in 20 minutes or less, and the price is right.
We love the price. Keeps the mind functional. Good way to spend free time.
Agree with some of the comments that the clue at times appears to not relate well or at all with the word answer.
It's entertaining enough, but clues don't tie in very well with the answer. The timer is difficult to see and there are too many ads for games that pop up, instead of the next crossword puzzle. We are not a gamer.
This is a fun and entertaining app for the most part. However, some answers have nothing to do with the clues, which means you have to spend free credits to solve the puzzle.
The mini crosswords are fun although some of the answers appear to be British. We would prefer not to have to jump through the other puzzle offerings to continue to the next crossword. Aside from that, the availability of multiple crosswords rather than one per day is a nice change. If we had our choice, the original crossword format which allowed access to the daily crosswords for prior months/ years suited us better.
We like that you don't have to spend money. We like the way the clues are written.
Great puzzles. Good clues. Different shapes and sizes. Few repeats from puzzle to puzzle. Used to play NY Times.
This is probably the best crossword app for waiting at the doctors office! Love it, we play it every chance we get. And the price is excellent- FREE.
