Crossword Pro is a classic crossword app with a useful twist. In arrow words puzzles, the clues are shown right in the puzzle grid, making them easy to view and play on the iPad and iPhone screen.
This lovingly produced app includes 3,000 all-new Arrow Words puzzles in 4 levels. Easier levels use simpler words and a smaller grid, perfect for a short break. Harder levels have tougher clues for hours of challenging fun. Also, careful editing and a huge pool of words ensure that clues don’t repeat too often.

Entertaining & challenging. We wish the sound could be muted though without having to shut off the volume of our iPad.
We like the format, however the app freezes and has to be deleted and reloaded too often; we paid for no ads but still get them, perhaps our request was not successful; the puzzle many times has trouble going to landscape.
We've been obsessed with Arrow Words forever and finally we can play it on our iPad. It's a great game for anyone who likes these type of crossword puzzle's.
Like these puzzles and features, show errors, etc. Cost a bit much for additional ones but well worth playing for forty free ones.
Love the crosswords- 4 levels increase at the perfect pace. We have had this app for a while, and really enjoy it! Closest to a newspaper on our iPad. Recently our normal level has locked up, and we cannot access it- only bug ever encountered. As far as the person complaining about the sound. Turn it off or down!– we turn off our sound for all games.
Very distracting to have the clues printed in the boxes. The handwriting scratching sound is annoying. Don't know if that can be adjusted because we deleted the app after less than 5 mins.
Did one clue, changed the format, still hate it. Deleting. If you don't mind the clue in the other squares oh the crossword you may like it but that was visually distracting to us. It is also so zoomed in that on the first easy puzzle we had to scroll to see the whole thing.
After spending 99c to download puzzles we received a notification saying the game was not compatible with version ios 9. Thanks a lot!! Would have been nice to know this before we wasted our money, we feel robbed. DON'T DOWNLOAD THIS APP.
We found how you set up your crosswords quite confusing…across & down should both be used. And as for your words & "correct" answers – what dictionary source are you using (ie. Since when does 'cinders' mean the same as 'ash'?!?! A wood or coal fire burns to cinders & the residue is ash…..this is only one example). As of now, we're deleting this app.
We just bought 30 puzzles (normal difficulty) and didn't get them. The charge is already on our credit card and we have nothing. HELP!! Still don't have the puzzles we paid for. Doesn't anyone care?? What do we have to do? Guess what–the charge is gone, thanks. 9/27. Well guess what–we just found a $2.11 charge on our credit card for 30 normal diff. Puzzles that should have cost half that. What is going on?? We have the 30 puzzles, but don't appreciate being charged double for them. That will be our last purchase if this isn't corrected.

Wondering about the answer to Noah's father. Biblically, in the book of Genesis it is listed as Lamech, but the puzzle said that the answer is Ishmael.

We really dislike that all the app navigation screens are portrait orientation only. The actual crosswords will rotate to landscape, but everything else is portrait, so you are constantly turning your ipad around. Also dislike that we can't move on to the next puzzle until we solve the one we're doing. We like to have multiple puzzles on the go, and keep coming back to them. In summary… This free version does not inspire us to pay for either of the paid versions. Still looking for the perfect crossword app, happy to pay.

Always challenging at every level, because there will be uncommon word solutions. One request: 4 free puzzles on Mondays (one for each level).
We doubt the maker of this puzzle is from the US. There are a number of words not used here in the US. Also, answers don't always make sense.
The screen is so hard to read. The clues on the puzzle causes clutter and makes it so complicated. Plus some of the answers are incorrect and don't make sense. The sound effects are probably the only nice thing about this.
Not sure we believe some of the words exist.
Like the Help section – easy to use for a little or a lot of help. Like that it auto jumps to the next blank space. Clues a nice mix of easy and challenging for each level.

This is a fun version of a crossword game. We only wish there was a way to show the entire puzzle at once.
We had a fun time doing as a family, different levels made it enjoyable by all.
We've never liked crosswords because we always hit a wall before we finish but like the feature that allows you get just one letter as a hint. Very user friendly.

It is a great puzzler, and we love that we can request help with a word or a letter. We're not a fan of the fact that it is limited, ie: only let's you play three of each level before running out of puzzles. It is challenging, which we enjoy, but the clues are not always used in the proper context, or need context.
Makes us think and passes the time. The clues could be clearer, as someone else said, but some clues aren't in the right context.
This game can be hard to put down, yet at the end you're not told if you make mistakes. Maybe during the game a help option could be added…"show mistakes" so that they would light up.
Interesting…could use better assistance w/ corrections n maybe some clearer clues. But, fun to use to pass the time away.
