A crossword puzzle has been scrambled. For example: if the clue says BACRMSDEL, the answer is … SCRAMBLED!
To solve a puzzle you will have to unscramble all the clues. Can you conquer the expert level with its extra-long words?
Crossword Scramble is great exercise for your brain, and great practice for other word games like Scrabble and Boggle. (I'm serious–try it and see how much your scores improve!)
We made this app free so that you can test it without having to buy anything. It comes with eight free puzzles–two puzzles in each of the four levels. There are 1000 puzzles available to purchase, but the eight free puzzles might just keep you busy for a while!

Crossword Scramble is a wonderful game that makes you think as do all of her games. We have everyone of her games and have never been disappointed with any of them. Our favorite is Brain Yoga. We start our day everyday with all of her games. We hope she will bring out more games.
This our favorite of the games we have. The easy Level is pretty easy but the other levels get more challenging.
At first we didn't think we'd like this game but after playing all the free puzzles, we're now addicted. Darn, guess we're going to buy some puzzles. The Cost is really nothing. The creating words from jumbled letters actually is fun. The harder or more expert puzzles are more fun but we needed the easier puzzles to get our mind set to the rules of this game. We're looking forward to getting back to solving puzzles.
With several levels, from easy to expert, there is something for everyone. You can buy one level at a time or all levels at once, depending on your level of confidence. Great interface…simple and clean layout. Superbly done.
Our favorite app! Always have loved crossword puzzles. Jumble the letters and add more even more fun. Cannot believe we've had to lookup so many unfamiliar words. Thanks for helping this 70 year old brain stay challenged.
Easy to Expert, it's all fun! Play a different twist on crossword puzzles by unscrambling the words.
Game is fun as well as keeping the brain active. We would prefer to have more free games because we are old and on a tight budget.
We have only done a few, but this is a new way to do puzzles for us. We like this.
A bit too easy for us, but we enjoy it and play daily.
Excellent puzzle and great value…we only wish it had a timer so you could save personal stats.
We like the crossword puzzles you have but we don't like to pay for any of the apps. We love your other games you have but why do you charge to continue this one.
It's a different type of crossword puzzle. Not one we've seen before however, we prefer not to have to click or press each box. We like being able to answer and automatically be moved to the next available slot.
Love the challenge, disappointed you only get to play two of each level and then your forced to pay $$$ to be able to enjoy playing… Deleting not worth the $$&.
Love it! Great idea to combine word jumbles with a crossword puzzle. Challenging and very satisfying when finished. We're hooked.
Updated: The more we play this game, the more we are enjoying it. (we really only play the hardest level). We are having fewer issues with correct words that aren't the solution and have decided finding the 'wrong' one is part of the challenge. Although we would still like the option to highlight incorrect words. Prior review: As the other reviewer said, some of these puzzles have multiple solutions. You should either be given credit or some way to highlight which word is not the incorrect per the official solution. Should offer hints or highlight errors across the puzzle with one button press. Otherwise the game is a good change of pace from a regular crossword puzzle.
We find crossword scramble to be fun and challenging & entertaining. We are a true neophyte when it comes to ANY type of crossword puzzles. Thanks to crossword scramble, we are feeling confident in pursuing more challenging crossword puzzles.
Absolutely wonderful!!!! Consider having the wrong letter change color. It would especially help in the harder ones. We also appreciate how you have made the price on the packs reasonable.
This is a well made app, easy to learn, fun to play, and a welcome change of pace in the crowded field of word game apps.
It is not a well thought out puzzle if there is more than one way to solve it. We "solved" several puzzles with properly spelled words and did not get credit for our answers. Very frustrating. Give credit where credit is due.
But even the expert levels are too easy.
