First three levels work without a hitch. Screen does sometimes lose responsiveness however now on fourth level loading (after buying a sub!) game crashes everytime.

Pay monthly? What a garbage scam, this should not even be downloadable… Wheres our game?!? Paid for it years ago, now we have to pay monthly?! Rip off scam artists. Used to be an awesome game, new money hungry company has ruined it, thanks for being part of the problem!

Great game but we guess a new company bought it out and now require you to make an account to freely play the game we already bought. Stupid.

We do not want a Game Club account. We do not want to sign up for game club. We just want access to the game that we purchased.

Im a huge fan of tower defense games and we especially loved ones like this that introduce and unusual mechanic. The gems protection aspect makes for a great spin on this genre.

So we would give this 5 star but after this gameclub took over the game u need money to play the game first it was free but now no so pls make it free gameclub.

We just wish people would make games like they used to let us pay once. And then enjoy it like a game is supposed to be.

Why all of a sudden we have to pay, make it free and we will give 5 stars so stupid paying.

We just changed our 5 star to 2 star because this game will not load on our pretty new iPad Pro 11. They are really missing the boat on this game. They need support for newer iPads and add levels to the second map. They could charge for the additional levels as an in-app purchase.

We have played the game on pc in different websites and always loved it, we found out it was on mobile a little ago and after downloading it, we cant even get to a loading screen. It will open then close immediately even after redownloading it. As of making this review it is not resolved.

Cursed Treasure is great fun! As of around November 18, 2021, the app will no longer open on our iPhone 12. Uninstalling and reinstalling didnt resolve the issue. We hope this gets fixed soon.

Delete after 5. Focusing people to sub is not a good strategy. 1 star or we wish we could make it lower.

Greed. Corporate greed has all but ruined gaming, and this is no exception. The first two levels they remind you that this game is also apart of a Apple Arcade like subscription, a monthly fee to pay for a once free to play flash game! Unbelievable!!!! When you try to play the third level youre greeted with the option to purchase a MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION. The only way to proceed is to pay a monthly fee!!!

This game is only free to download, in order to play you must pay 4.99 a month!

App keeps crashing only works on android.

We used to play this game a lot but now when we go to start it, it shows the games club logo then crashes.

We enjoy these games, we played them when they were on all those flash game sites. We were excited to find it on the App Store. Starting them game you have to navigate several pop ups that make it seem like you have to sign up for their game library to play, for a small fee of course. After finding may way around that we were able to play the first two maps which were as fun as we remembered. The third map has a paywall. You can not play it without paying for their subscription game library. If they wanted money to play their game, they should have said so up front and not trick people into installing it, giving them a taste and pulling the old pusherman tactic of the first one is free, but the next will cost you. Dirty, underhanded, dishonest, dont waste your time. Theres probably a clone out there thats free to play and has all the same features.

Has always been a fan to cursed treasure game and we just found the game on app store the other day, but… You have to pay every month to play the game??? That’s just a little too extreme imo.

Pay $4.99 per month after 2nd round complete ripoff.

Game got greedy, took away all the content unless you pay for a subscription?!? Cursed treasure was a great game, this is terrible.

The thing is basically a demo, in order to play past level 2 you have to subscribe to there subscription service, and devs before you come here with the try before you buy crap, 2 levels is not enough to get a grip on if you want to considering dropping money on this.

Game requires that you get a subscription to some obscurist cash grab. If you like obscurist cash grabs, this could be exactly the game you’r’e looking for!

We paid for this game years ago, the full version. Now we cant even play it as it doesnt work. Immediately crashes without ever making it past the initial screen. Waste of money. We see they havent done any fixes for over 2 years. Brilliant.

Id be less annoyed if it said up front it was a paid game. Instead, you get two levels and then cant advance because, if you dont sign up for a monthly subscription, youre bounced out of the game not that it tells you that. You click play, click no thanks, click done, and you end up back at the mercy where youre free to click play again and go through the same loop.

We love this game with all our heart but GameClub/Apple ruined this game on Mobile. Ever since the integration we cant even play the game. It wont even launch. At all. It just crashes half a second into launching the game. We’ve been trying to get help from GameClub/Apple and have gotten no answers. 10/10 game but it wont even play or start thanks to the company running it and their .5/10 customer service.

First of all this is a subscription. You have to pay $5/mo to be able to play this game. We absolutely loved this game so we didnt have a problem paying. However, last year the app stopped working. It needs updated to be able to run on newer iOS versions but it hasnt been updated in over 2 years. But they didnt have a problem continuing to take our money for months while we were hopeful the game would eventually start working. We finally canceled the subscription after realizing they dont care anymore.

Imagine paying a monthly subscription for a game you can play for free with an Adobe Flash emulator. Its amazing how utterly greedy these guys are. A flat rate is one thing but a monthly charge to play a mobile game? Absolutely ridiculous dont waste your time.

The app closes when we click on it, so we cant even play the game.

This game just crashes back to the Home Screen after the GameClub screen, unfortunately doesnt work on modern iOS.

Used to play back in the day on our old android. Just installed n our newish iPhone. Game doesnt even open lol. App just crashes.

We’ve played Cursed Treasure for over a decade, first on Kongregate and then on mobile. Then evil greedy Gameclub buys it from IriySoft and starts charging a monthly subscription to play it. WTHH! So sorry Iriy ever sold it to evil GC. RIP Cursed Treasure. We will never support greedy conglomerates like GC.

Such a spectacular game, and such a tragedy thereby, that Games Club is holding it hostage. We would happily buy this game, but unfortunately thats no longer an option. We can only subscribe to it through Games Club, a service whose intellectual property ransoming and absolutely garish ad-spamming we have zero desire to reward. Just let people buy things!

Wont start up. We remember playing these games and apparently this has gone way down under since.

Will not open on iPhone 13. Crashes every time even after uninstalling/reinstalling.

Game is still free on Kongregate, we dont know why you would ever subscribe to this cash grab.

We’ve been hoping for a couple years now that theyd fix the issues of this app not playing on iOS. And get rid of that stupid game club thing. But they never did. Really sad cuz this was one of our favorites and they utterly ruined it.

Game used to be awesome and its supposed to be free but if you dont pay some scam monthly payment you only get two levels. Outrageous.

The game need more abilities upgrades. Its almost impossible to get 3 stars at later level.

Subscription for this? Terrible idea. Pass.

In order to get more money, theyve made this game unplayable unless you join their Club… Which isnt Apple/iTunes related. So, Im unable to play.

We remember when we didnt have to pay for the game, it was an amazing game, one of our favorite of all time and we were coming back for nostalgia, we used to play on computer but we tried it on our phone, we hate the fact that you now have to pay for the mobile version monthly, it was one of our favorite games of all time and we would play it for hours on end, but now that game club owns it, it seems to have fallen apart and with it our hopes for the mobile version have crashed and burned we will not be playing a game club game ever again, and you can count on that. Im not paying a subscription for a game, Id rather just buy the game.

Such a rip off because we wanted to play one of our favorite games and on the third level we have to pay to play when we used to do it for free.

Free to play on Android, 5 bucks a month on iOS. Rip off.
