We rarely review, but had to on this. Visually, absolutely gorgeous. Not hyperbole to say each scene is stunning in its beauty, detail and definition. Creative mini games, some actually could have used more instruction. Nice, long game. If you like high quality visuals (the movie parts are the least exceptional) and lots of color and texture in the scene design, you will love this. We just stopped play to oo and ah repeatedly! :)
The best thing ever is when you can’t put it down.
Seriously, guys. Great game, but there needs to be a warp feature to get around more quickly. The constant back-and-forth is irritating to say the least. Anyway, Im loving the twisted fairytale stories, and really want an adventure with Gerda, Kai, and Gwyn. Especially one where Gerda continues to rescue her two boys. We LOVED the reverse damsel-in-distress moments. Keep it up! But really, add a warp feature please.

We REALLY appreciate that this game wasn’t loaded with hidden object scenes with lists of random and irrelevant items to find. It’s been quite a while since we have enjoyed a game so much! What a bargain for so much entertainment at a great price!
The game is wonderfully made. It keeps you from putting your phone down. Or basically doing anything else. Play it! You won’t be disappointed!

The story was great and so were the graphics but it was super annoying to be asked every few minutes to rate the game and no fast travel which sucked but all in all it was very good. Been awhile since we’ve enjoyed a big fish game this much!
Gameplay was addicting! Graphics and storyline was well designed and love the imagery. Worth the full game purchase.

It’s a very fun hidden object game if the whole game was free we would play it all day.
Decided to be generous and go for 4 stars; we kept leaning a bit more to 3. It was irritating that we were asked every 10-15 min to submit a rating – extremely irritating. That said, it did make us come a report what we didnt like. Unable to transport using the map which is something we really appreciate. Also, when you pick something up, it doesnt tell you what you got. You have to pick the item from the inventory to see what the description is and doing that can knock you out of the scene youre focusing on! Beautiful graphics and we are enjoying the game despite the negatives we’ve mentioned.

Graphics were extraordinary. Lots of eye candy…. However still no teleporting and that makes it hard to get around. Also touch response a little slow sometimes..
You have to press objects a number of times before they respond. There is a lot of going back and forth. We do like this type of finding objects puzzle, but there arent many of them. Very slow storyline.

The game is great, one of the best that we have ever played. But some of the puzzles were a little difficult so we skipped most of them. But we are looking forward to the next sequel.

We love all the Dark Parable series, they bring us back to our lil girl days with all the fairy tales… Just love then All!!
Dark Parable series are the first HOS games we played and they got us hooked on playing more… These are our favorite because the scenery, music, artistry, HOS, & puzzles are fun. We enjoy the fairytale theme & how the developers weave all the different characters into the various stories, although the dialog is silly at times. We agree with not having a "rating" pop up every second. It’s annoying, unnecessary, and detracts from overall experience. Poor choice developers, leave ratings until the end of game! Overall, it’s a great series and look forward to more installments. ====> Suggestion: Swan Princess would be a good edition to the series & would work well with the other fairytale characters developed thus far.
This is a great addition to the series. A lot of fun to play, great graphics, interesting storyline, and it is challenging enough to keep your interest but not be annoying. Looking forward to the next one in the Dark Parables series!!!
We like the fancy jewel-toned artwork, and we do appreciate that the HOPs are in service of assembling items you need to continue play, and not hunts for random weird stuff.
We love the Dark Parables game series. They are colorful, imaginative and have multiple types of mini games. The story lines are fun as well. The graphics are colorful and appropriate for each game in the series.
We like the Dark Parables series. They’re a lot of fun. They scenes are very nice. We really like the HOS where you’re putting things together instead of finding random stuff. We enjoy the puzzles. However, we don’t need a Rate Now banner coming up every 2 seconds. We get that you need reviews to get people to buy and to improve but when we’re only 3 minutes into the game we don’t know if we like it yet so maybe start putting the review banners later in the game.
Love,love all the Dark Parables series. Keep them coming. The scenes are so vivid.
This and Cinderella are the best kind we love this game and replay it often.

Good story and graphics but minigames are dull and theyre all very similar.
Fun game, puzzles are challenging but not too difficult. Excellent value at $1.99 sale price.
