So many hidden picture games these days are dark and murky but this game is beautifully colored. We did, however find some of the puzzles repetitive.
Is usual the dark parables series is awesome this game a winner.
Loved playing this! Nice and long. The story and artwork is amazing! We had no trouble with gameplay or crashing issues.. Although we do agree with another reviewer about some of the hos just being a tap frenzy.. And also another reviewer on the achievements and collectibles and not being able to see your progress.. The map is great and really helps you keep track of where to go.. All in all definitely worth the price!
Enjoyed playing… We don’t write reviews often but this game we decided to. Fun graphics and puzzles and most importantly there are No glitches!!!
Loved it. HOPs were harder but not impossible. We own all the Dark Parables and we’re looking forward to the next one…

The game was fun and challenging but the crashes were a pain.
We LOVE these series. Beautiful scenery , great puzzles and is long enough. The last games were too short.
We just started playing this one, but we love all the Dark Parables games. They’re absolutely beautiful and the puzzles are always fun.

We absolutely love them! They are one of the very few games that we could just play over and over and still be happy. Please keep bringing them out. We think we would be lost without them LOL.
We give this game one star because it crashes! Half way through it gives us a black screen and boots back to the home screen. We have tried all the solutions. Have uninstalled the thing 3 times and still get the same thing. Not always at the same scene. If not for this we would give it 5 stars. So frustrating . Hate starting all over and then go through the same thing again!! GRRRRR! We have upped our review since the update. The game now works perfectly and is very enjoyable. Thanks for the update.

Really enjoyed this game. Good storyline; just the right amount of hidden objects; enjoyed having to search for items needed to play the game. Thank you for making the games enjoyable and intriguing.
The game is awesome. However, there were one or two glitches. We have played the game several times, and we’ve noticed that there was a dialogue scene between the king and the mermaid missing from when we first moved on to throne room. We don’t know if was do to a glitch or if it was taken out on purpose.
We’re a huge fan of Dark Parables and this one doesn’t disappoint. It’s a great way to test your memory, logic, and inner Sherlock Holmes. A lot of fun!

These games are our favorite big fish games. We love playing them. The only thing we would change are the scenes that are dark. We love the bright colors.

Dark Parables and the awakening games are the only real adventure/hidden object games that we are truly in love with. We cant wait for the new Dark Parable to come out. So, hurry!
We liked it but we missed the morphing objects.
This one is a little buggy. We had to reinstall. But we love the stories. Not as fond of some of the particular puzzles they used in this one. Between those puzzles being a bit tedious and the bugginess, we take a star off. Still well worth our money. Looking forward to more!
We have had no crashes during the main game, we will see as we play the extra content or replay the game. Lots of great artwork. The map made it much easier than those without maps.
Loved this game until chapter 4!! Then crash and crash and crash again. This is the second Big Fish game that crashes in the middle of the game. Hey Big Fish, if we pay $6.99 plus tax we would like the game to work. Update 9/9/15 – the bugs after chapter 4 has been fixed. So lets continue the game and see what happens next!
Good news: Eipix generally stuck to script, giving us a game about as good as the original Blue Tea series, enough for us to want to continue with Dark Parables entries. Semi-good: the HO plays are a bit over the top, what with the addition of timed ratings (why? – no apparent reward status is provided regardless of performance) and fanfares, et. Al. Bad news: not so bad, but watch out for a glitch – the standard addition of a Portal within the game has been ceded to the hint button, where, when engaged to show direction, will produce a portal if you are more than two rooms away from your destination. DONT USE IT! You will freeze the game and it will crash. Instead proceed to your next move room by room. Morphing objects are now awards to parts of parables – if you miss one, you do not get to read them after you finish the game.
After fixing the crash in Chapter 3 ; we truly loved this game, we think of all the Dark Parables, this one was the bomb! However, after playing several times, it would not keep track , nor display moons collected on screen, or any of the other achievements, big fish, tea cups, etc. It also would not keep accurate count of moons . One instance in the main game we had collected 43 moons! PLEASE FIX, Still not fixed! It was our favorite…… Leaflet.
This game was very interesting with fun puzzles. We enjoyed this one more than briar rose, we found the format and puzzles more fun. Both are great games though. We did have problems with it crashing and had to reinstall it twice which is why we only gave it 4 stars.

We really wish we could give this 5 stars, but we cannot. First of all, EIPIX partnered with Blue Tea this time, which improved the experience because we finally had a teleport map with marked tasks and objectives. It was the most gorgeous game, graphics as well as magnificent cut-scenes. Loading was instantaneous between locations. There was no journal (but the parables eventually explain the story) but there were updated objectives. Inventory was labeled and it said what the item was after an HOS. The only type of HO scene was fragmented. It’s not our favorite type, but when the 3 parts you find combine, it’s magical! The puzzles and mini-games were fun, but we wish there had been a bit more variety there. You collect crescent moons in this tale. Lots of extras, including some totally gorgeous wallpapers! We can’t give it a full 5 stars because first of all, it was glitchy. We were able to play through after deleting and reinstalling it, as suggested by BigFish. It wasn’t long enough, even with bonus gameplay. Also we would prefer a journal, some variation in HOP scenes, and more puzzles. However, a good solid, enjoyable game, and no RATS, just paradise! Dream Team, if you love the series, then this was a must-play, especially now that EIPIX gave us an oft-requested teleport map! It’s worth it to play just for the sheer beauty of the game. Really good game! A little confusing at the end not a lot of depth to the characters like they usually do. We didn’t like some of the puzzles.. Rapunzel was way better. But!!!! Good story! We like it overall.

Pretty good game, lots of crashing in the beginning, but seems that is now fixed. Awesome colors! Sometimes not very cohesive.
After the bug fix we were able to enjoy and finish the game! The HD graphics were beautiful.
