We really hope and pray they bring more over and usher in a slight renaissance for Cave shmups. We just want them to have incentive to make ESP Galuda 2 available on 64bit IOS.
CAVE Maaaaaaaaaaan! Thankful & greatful of this port & like others said it is not perfect from playing the actual Arcade versions this is needed to wake up new fans for our beloved genre. We are included with those of us that try to get others to join us in a subscription to have major Mobile Videogaming funespecially for this genre. We need a Shmup & Bullet Heaven(shout out to the Studio Mudprints Lvebirds) category here like yesterday, 4realz! It is so crisp & clean for the graphics and smooth relative controls. Since this is a beautiful surprise we are sure CAVE will one day soon open back up their whole catalog for us. We need those Bug Princesses . We highly recommend this Funtaztic Shmup. We & other fans support & believe in you CAVE. Thankz for this Yo! SHMUPZ.

We cant believe we woke up to find this!! Donpachi is one of our favorite game series of all time. We cant believe theres a game in Apple Arcade now, more Cave shmups PLEASE!!
We were pleasantly surprised to see this in Apple Arcade. If youre a fan of the genre then youre probably already familiar with this game. If you play other mobile shmups and havent tried this then download immediately. Although not as good as playing in an actual arcade this is a good port. A lot of fun with great replay ability trying to beat your own and others high scores. Hopefully people play this and as a result more CAVE games get added. Highly recommend all to give this game a shot.

We love us some Phoenix 2 but tired of the micro transactions, this easily fills that spot. Hoping more games like this come out.

Im just trying to figure out what the app is doing with 1 gig of memory?
Not sure where to submit a bug report, but the game is good because its Dodonpachi. However, we assume the lack of sound is not intended. Adjusting the settings does nothing.
We remember playing this on our iPhone 3 over a decade ago and it ran fine. But now playing this on our iPhone 13 Pro and it lags? Somethings not right.
Its not a bad gamebut not great either. We use an M1 iPad Pro and even still the game lags and slows way downI expect more from a game such as this.
There are so many effects, numbers, enemies, bullets, you can tell whats going on. Also, no controller support.
A ten year old shmup isn’t what people sign up for. Perhaps a new game would be great but this one is stale.
Its ok. Horrible frame rates and it runs windowed so you dont get to take up youre whole screen. Technical problems throughout. But its ok if you need that fix.
This was ported over using a $99 kit. The play area is 1/2 the screen – 1/4 of the top is useless blank space and 1/4 of the bottom is useless blank space. At least allow the bottom area for controlling the ship? Instead, our finger takes up the majority of the screen making this game unplayable. Very disappointing, but typical of rushed ports we find in Apple Arcade.

Im about to finish the first boss fight with 1000 combo, perfect run and the game crashes. What a waste of time, glad we didnt buy this game.
The lack of controller support in a game like this is bananas.
Our game is constantly crashing in the middle of it and idk why, Im playing on a 12 pro max we dont get how there can even be a problem. We love this game but the crashes make us have to give it 1 star till its fixed.
Remember when Apple Arcade had standards? What is this garbage, and how has Apple allowed this (and some other recent titles) to slip through both the cracks in the App Store, but the premium Apple Arcade as well! This is not what were paying for. The game is from what, 2008? The game only fits on our screens because they have letterboxed the top and bottom instead of putting any effort into anything more than copy and paste. No idea how this snuck through quality control, but Im seriously starting to question the value from Apple Arcade, as are many others (read the forums!) so if this is your thing, have fun, but we’ve found myself going back to premium paid titles in the normal App Store instead of Arcade.
We are unable to play because the game decides to crash to home screen every time we attempt to load into the first mission. Using an iPhone 12 Mini 256gb.
