Community Insight:
We have played from the beginning, and we really enjoy how they improved it over the years. It is faster to level up if you are just starting, they increased the resources received from the caravans and farms if you get attacked you can still advance. Oil farming is still a little rough and we are top age. So dont be discouraged if you cant advance fast for oil required things for we are also catching up even tho most top aged peers has better upgrades. It is still fun watching each building change with each upgrade. It seems when each age is released the attack tactic changes for all levels so dont worry if your army needs adjustment or it seems like you cant attack the levels you were able to before keep trying new ways. Keep going! The only thing we would like to change is alliance war pairing for even tho we are level 344 our alliance is lower level than us and it is hard for them to attack or we get paired with ones that just wipe us even tho our army is lower, our resource buildings are higher so we cant even attack them strongly. We know you guys are trying so hard and maybe it is just not possible at the moment to pair with equal powered alliances all the time for we dont want you to fix it and then we are the alliance that just wipes them out everytime. Just looking for more evenly paired wars.
We love the game but the most recent update is not working and causing us to loose out on our auto retrain blessing that we have activated right now. Bery frustrating.
This game is amazing there is plenty to do and you can advance and have fun even without the purchases though they do speed things up One thing that upsets us though is the bug fixes we have a surplus of speed ups and cant use them it says check your connection we have google fiber so we KNOW that is not it because everything else works just fine so thats upsetting but all in all super fun.
This game is great, but the speed up tokens dont work.
We have connection problem with this game and its been a day we cannot open the game.
To start, we love this game. Been playing it for years, and the strategy mixed with the clan wars, makes this game engaging and theyre always updating new ages which keeps it fun. However, the recent update that allows for more frequent attacks on your base, is killing the game. We really hope the developers walk this one back. Its hard enough as is to ours oil, which is the most important resource in the game, but now you go to bed and lose more oil than you can gain in a day from all the attacks. Its very hard now to advance anything without paying for it. Really a sad turn for the game.
We have been playing this for a month now and it is addictive. The developers have done a great job and it reminds us of Age of Empires. Although we are frequently annoyed by the various speed ups that we get as benefits – they just never work. The app restarts stating network error whenever we try to use them. Dropping a star for this particular bug.
Great game having a lot of fun we wanna give it 5 stars but whenever we try to use our speed ups for building we get a network error is this something that is gonna get fixed or do we need to redownload the game. Ive already spent money our base so we dont wanna delete it and lose everything. Hopefully someone can get back to us with a resolution thanks.
So we like this game a lot, we been playing it since 2015. However it changed, every time you log in they try to make you buy something and now if you want to retrain all of your troops, you have to watch an add. Before you used to be able to just press a button and call it a day. The developers are trying every trick in a book to make you either spend money or watch an add, honestly if they keep going we will switch to Rise of Civilizations.
Rise of kingdoms is better in every single way. From aesthetics to the price of packs and overall player satisfaction. Dominations is too slow paced and gets boring fast, also doesnt have a real open world to play in. Have fun invading someone with no satisfaction from the outcome at all lol. Pls Rise of Kingdoms. This is coming from someone who played dominations for 6 months and Rise of Kingdoms for 2 weeks. Ive put 45$ into dominations and it wasnt worth it , where as 125$ in ROK has been well worth it. Its even more enjoyable as a free to play game but hey , you decide what you do, this was just our experience.
This game runs in to constant issues with glitchiness and their customer service is mostly non-responsive and demeaning, dismissive, and patronizing when you report glitches. They attempt to blame the games problems on hardware(ours is brand new and fully updated) or claim that their logs show things that simply did not happen. When the game works it is a 4 star more in depth clash style base building and attacking game, but when it bugs out(often) and you lose things you spent time or money obtaining it is a frustrating pile of trash.
Havent been able to play for past couple of months due to crashes.

As soon as you download the game, it projects a force quit on the app if you dont download more junk. Whats the point of downloading the game if its not going to DOWNLOAD THE GAME TO PLAY.
Ive been playing this game for years. The only notification Ive ever received is your trees are ready to harvest, thats it the only notification you will ever get during your whole gaming experience! Why have notifications at all? Can the developer of this game please explain this to us? This one reason is why we give 1 star.

This game is SOOOO good and we love it because you have to go through all of these ages is so fun.
Upgrades are ridiculously expensive and take too long.
This game is very good. We do not see why people are complaining about crashing. We are playing it with an ipad 2018 edition, we regulaly check and update all our apps and never had a problem. This games requires lots of patience or $$ (like every other games). You need to choose how you will play it. As for the last update, it is good to use barrack troops again. You might want to tone down helicopter power or range a little bit. And also up the powers of MBTs maybe. And also reconsider troops space requirements for all factory/barrack troops. Thank you.
Update broke game rendering defensive aspects such as layout, walls, traps, bastions, basically everything as useless. So our money and especially time upgrading these things was wasted. No need to research anything or attempt different layouts since nothing matters.
We have been playing since 2018 Im an industrial age and we must say this game takes time like for reference 10 day upgrade time but this game has made us more patient and we really love and enjoy playing this game, it is not pay to win and has great graphics for its type of game similar to clash of clans but better! To anyone looking at this game we highly recommend it, but remember be patient. Note: the alliance system is a great way to progress.
Oil was always the hardest resource to get in the game. Last update now requires oil for all troops. Insane! Even with 100% destruction we barely cover our troop cost with winnings and have to wait 1.5 hours for retraining. Game used to be fast moving and fun, now its boring drudgery. Quitting after 3 years of play.

Its an amazing game very much to learn, a lot of things to do in the game, very fun and challenging but, we only wish there was more players active onto the game. But further all superb game!! Deserves the 5 stars.
We have been playing this game for years. The last update is killing it for us. Oil for barracks troops is not a good plan. Please return the previous currency for barracks troops.
In the latest update, barracks troops NOW cost oil instead of food like before. That and the extremely long research times already will bring progress to a halt. PLEASE change it back.
Great game. Love it. But we cant get on our iPad. Wont load at all after we downloaded the new data.
Every time we try to use speed ups the game crashes.
Fun game, some CoC elements. However, we are unable to use speed-ups, and repairs that we paid real money for fail, supposedly because of our internet connection. This connection has never failed in any of the many similar games we play. Its not the internet, and this bug is making it unplayable. If you get this message once, you might as well quit because it will prevent you from playing important elements. Sorry to have to delete.
Overall it is a great game but you guys should do something about the troop training time, it takes forever to train your troops. You can incorporate ads to speed up training time.
Recent update has caused troop training to use oil. Horrible balance change which makes food and gold obsolete. Unless you are a high level player its hard to retrain your troops. We understand if it is for factory and airstrip troops but using it for basic troops is bad game play. Hope you fix it.
So we are trying to get back into the game and it wont even let us in the loading screen and it says it cant connect to the server and it then gives us a player is and that sit and so we reset everything on dominations and tried again and guess what it keeps happening we just want to play the game dude.
Game keeps crashing after Facebook app says we're connected and sends us back to the game. When we reload the game says Facebook is disconnected. We've contacted support several times, they have repeatedly said they're escalating the issue to different departments and then later close the ticket saying they "haven't heard from us." Mind you the expectation would obviously be that we're waiting to find out what results from the escalation or an apology and we're working on it at least. Instead they "close the ticket" and there only explanation given seems to be trying to blame us for somehow not responding when we were in effect told to wait while they looked into it.
Its a fun game for some time, but it doesnt take long to reach a point where weeks can pass before villages complete tasks. At around this point the game becomes massively pay to win.
We have been playing this game for years and the latest update forces you to us oil to retrain barrack troops which puts a serious damper on things that need oil to upgrade. It will grind advancement down very hard. Sorry to say we are not going to play much anymore other than support our teammates. Looking for an alternative game now. We would avoid this game at this point.
So like many other games it is kind of pay to play unless you wanna wait 16 centuries to upgrade. But we woke up today and now in order to train any kind of troops in factory or regular Barricks you have to use oil. Whats the Sense in upgrading farms? Maybe we could sell off some of our farms for some oil wells because this is ridiculous not happy at all neither is the group that we belong to.
Did an update and now when logging in it bounces us out the game before launching.
Dont spend money on this game ever! Youll lose your rank and real money because it crashes all the time during battle.
We enjoy the game but recently completed all the quests and never received our rewards. Put a lot of time into the game and they dont even reward us for the 4 5 day speed ups. Definitely losing a paying customer. We spend money but finally when u can actually earn something thats a good reward of course its a scam.
Who thought missile silo was a good idea this has absolutely destroyed the game. Sorry for contacting you here but its the right place because its a huge problem the developers need to fix Im absolutely infuriated with Nexon. Youve taken the joy out of gameplay and it started when it required too spaces for sabotage betrayal and protect. . The game design was perfect thats why Apple gave you editors choice but apparently you guys dont like awards and have decided to slowly destroy Domination. People have invested a lot of time and money in the game including ourselves, Thats because game was enjoyable but lately it has been far from it. With countless alternatives we chose Domination and have spent hundreds of hours in game play. So we must tell Nexon you have truly missed the mark our and point of view is not an isolated one. Sincerely KZ uninstall and delete.
So dominations just implemented a troop training charge which used to be food cost to now be oil cost it has now created an issue where people can actually use more oil on troops than they bring in by looting causing a player to actually lose the thing they need to train their troops so our suggestion is if you are new find a different game as this one just trys to find new ways to make you pay money to advance in a timely manner anymore Im on verge of deleting and forgetting this game exists that how unhappy we are with the change it now will take three time longer to get the loot to upgrade anything of value.

Loved playing this game, but the last update broke the game and now it wont load up on any of our devices. Im using a 2020 IPad Pro and a IPhone 13 pro.
Played for years and finally uninstalled after the last update. Quite a shame really.
We have been playing Dominations for years. We have enjoyed our time with the game. As the game is constantly being updated you expect some changes here and there. However, the most recent update has us ready to call it quits. You have three main resources; food, gold, and oil. They have now made it to where all troops cost oil to train. It is the scarcest resource in the game (You used to train troops with food). The only reason for this is to get people to buy oil with crowns (purchase required). This update didnt balance the game as the developer states, its just a money grab. If they change it back, we will return, until then peace out.
We used to love this game, have been playing for years, made it up to level 300. But the latest update changed the barrack troop training to use Oil instead of Food. Oil is required for all the later updates in the game, its very scarce and takes a while to farm. Our builders sit around not doing anything waiting while we slowly build up oil. Now we have to use that precious oil to retrain our troopsthis is an awful change. Big Huge Games, we hope you read this, you are going to lose a lot of players because of this change. And their is no reason to do it, other than trying to be greedy and hope players will spend $$$ to fill their oil storage.
They let you buy speed ups to advance quicker but you cant even use them without the entire game crashing.
Unless youre willing to pay its not very fun or engaging.
This wasnt a bad game until they changed a bunch of things. Now units that used to cost food now cost oil which is already a pain to acquire in useful quantities. This game has become more work than pastime. If u want to spend lots of money or bang your head against a wall, play this game. If u want something that is actually fun. Go play mech arena or something like that that doesnt have the insane requirements to be competitive.
