What Makes Dustbunny: Emotions to Plants Stand Out
Dustbunny is more than just an idle game; it’s a warm and relaxing journey that guides you in reconnecting with your repressed emotions. In this whimsical world, your emotions manifest as adorable creatures called Emotibuns, who love to hide and need your help to express themselves. By catching these shy creatures, you can grow them into beautiful plants—some of which are extremely rare! Engage in fun interactions like watering, pest control, and even singing to your plants. Enjoy relaxing mini-games, such as catching bubbles in your bubble tea, all while transforming your room into a safe space where you may encounter your inner child.
There was always a void inside your mind, like a sinkhole. One day, you woke up inside the void.
You find yourself in a dusty, abandoned room, greeted by a friendly bunny who seems to hold the keys to the secrets of the room.
There are some things you can do in this room.
⁕ Catch your repressed emotions ⁕
As you explore the dusty room, keep an eye out for Emotibuns—shy creatures that disguise themselves as dust bunnies. They represent your repressed emotions, such as sadness, anger, anxiety, loneliness, and emptiness. These creatures are quick, so stay alert! Once you catch and name an Emotibun, it will express its emotion and sprout into a unique plant, complete with an ID card to log your journey of care and growth.
⁕ Love your plants & yourself ⁕
What’s your love language? With over 20 ways to nurture your plants, you can use Care Cards for basic tasks like watering and pest control, as well as more personal actions like singing and writing to them. Each plant is one-of-a-kind, growing dynamically to communicate with you—it sparkles when healthy, droops when sick, and might even jump out of its pot! As you learn to care for your plants, remember to extend that love to yourself, too.
⁕ Collect rare plants ⁕
Each Emotibun transforms into a unique plant species, ranging from common varieties to the elusive unicorn plant. Challenge yourself to collect all the plants in the Plant Index, and discover rare genetic mutations called variegation that create unique leaf patterns. Advanced players can unlock abilities to create one-of-a-kind hybrid plants.
⁕ Befriend Empathy ⁕
You’ll be guided by Empathy, a friendly, winged bunny! Empathy offers daily affirmations and shares wisdom about emotions and self-love to help you on your journey.
⁕ Get cozy with nostalgic objects ⁕
Every object in your room is interactive! Enjoy mini-games with nostalgic items like bubble tea, plushies, and cup noodles. Some will help you relax, while others might surprise you!
⁕ Decorate your dream room ⁕
The in-game shop updates daily with adorable decor and furniture options. From Ghibli-inspired cottagecore to mid-century modern styles, create your dream room and share it with our community!
⁕ Complete your narrative ⁕
Uncover the story behind the room and the five emotions as you progress, leading you to discover your inner child.
Key Features
⁕ Name your Emotibuns and grow them into plants using over 20 care cards.
⁕ Experience unique plant growth—no two plants look the same, as they grow procedurally in 3D.
⁕ Collect over 30 popular and rare plants, including hybrid varieties.
⁕ Craft yummy treats for Emotibuns and compost for your plants, all from dust.
⁕ Interactive objects provide gentle focus and tactile stimulation for stress relief.
⁕ Journal your journey with stickers and Polaroid photos.

Community Insight:
Loveee it keep up the good work.
Just when we gave up on mobile games here comes Empathy. If we could rate this game higher we would.
This is our favorite game. The lo-fi music is super relaxing. The mini games are surprising and fun. Its good for our mental health. And its adorable.
We absolutely love this game and play it every single day. Thank you DVs for such an amazing experience.
Helllloooo. Us and our girlfriend absolutely adore this game and play just about every day. There is an issue where we have alll the ingredients you can think of but it will not allow us to make anything past banana chips and the smoothie. Please fix this ! We would love to continue moving on in promises and go farther into the game.
Ive been playing this game for over a year now, and have never stuck to a game this long. Not only is it super calming and extremely low on ads, but its also aesthetically pleasing. Its the perfect blend of following a storyline (which is so simple yet sooo beautiful) and going your own way, taking care of plants and learning how to deal with difficult emotions. You can tell a lot of love and soul was put into this game. We also love how it has just enough to keep us exploring and playing but not too much information to where we feel overwhelmed at the start like most games- totally beginner friendly! Its not pay to win, theres wait times but they never grow exponentially to where you have to wait 24+ hours for something (have to wait like an hour max in this game) and while you have to take care of your plants, its not to the point where you have to check up on them every 5 minutes to the point where it gets annoying. We cant say enough good about this game, seriously try it out.
All about loving yourself and taking care of things as how you should take care of yourself.
So not to sound like im a commercial but we absolutely love this game its relaxing and calm and well we havent played it much yet but we think ANYONE who reads this should play this game.
The game makes us wind down and take some time to relax and enjoy some us time.
We are an ADHD app hopper, and this app has managed to capture and keep our attention. It is not pay to win and you are never forced to watch ads. The little goals and promises to Empathy are enough to keep us motivated and we find this to be the perfect gam to play while we wind down and watch TV at night. We love houseplants in real life, and have actually discovered new types of plants through this game, and it is also so fun collecting the plants that we have in real life. The mental health aspects of the game are genuinely wholesome and the little messages have brought us a smile at times when Ive need it. Definitely recommend this game.
The app is so calming even though we easily forget To play but still dont change a thing if youre reading this its already too amazing if u get angry a lot like us GET DUSTBUNNY.
We use this to calm down all the time.
The game is actually pretty nerve calming and peaceful we just love the sound effects it has and the little emobunnies are so cute. We really recommend it.
We went into this game not thinking much of it but this game allows you to notice and validate you emotions totally recommend for people Were just trying to relax and relief stress.
Ive played this for a while now and its super fun.
Ive been playing this game on and off for a year now, this game helps us relax at the end of our day and escape into a cute tiny world with adorable plants. Its very simple and doesnt overwhelm you too quickly. Fun for all ages and really helps the winger go by.
Nice relaxing game with tons of pretty plants.
This game is the best its so fun though the screen is small but its so awesome and relaxing.
So cozy and relaxing! Game progression is perfect, animation and visuals are just as perfect!! The game developer listens to people and makes amazing updates! 100/10.
Its so fun and relaxing and we love the you can grow plants! 10/10.
Started this game in a deep depression, the simplicity was nice and the journal feature kept us writing our feelings out on top of that care aspect for the plants. We get waves of it and the game is a nice way for us to have some routine during episodes.
We love this game, its so cute and cozy, love all the options to personalize our room, its really fun, and creators try to always update, really recommend.
Everyone should get this duh its the best game in the world it so calm and perfect for study breaks.
We never leave reviews but this game truly is a gem. It is obviously designed with care, full of kindness, and helps us to slow down and enjoy the moments. Couldnt speak higher of this game.
Love it. No annoying ads, cute graphics, and the perfect mix of cozy/lofi and fun.
We got a Lonelibun and our game crashed while we were naming him. Hes gone.
A game focused on mental health and plants! Very cute and enjoyable. Great for people who enjoy calm ambience and journaling. The build and graphics are adorable. We love all the customization options too. ALS we like the events, feels very connecting from developer to consumer. After playing this game Id say theres only a few things we wish to improve: the overall progression of the game can be a bit slow, some quests are VERY long and can get a bit boring. The plant options are slim, it seems theres only a few types of plants when there could be much more (ex. Succulents, trees, flowers, much more!). Also although theres many items and such we feel the game could just be a bit more engaging. You play it for awhile and its cool but you get bored after a bit. If this game is meant to be a simple, short lived adventure then its perfect.
We love this game but after the update which allowed us to move furniture the game will not open on our iPad so we are unable to play :(.
Its a really fun and generally relaxing game but its unexpectedly grindy. Overall, Id recommend if you have enough free time.
Very disappointed on how hard and long it takes to get further in the game. The game advertised as a mental health game to build you up but its really not like that. Its hiding behind trying to make a profit. They want people to pay money to actually move forward or it will take you to long. We lost interest and was very bored. Delete it and dont waste your time.
We downloaded this game from a random suggestion a TikTok comment. Genuinely the best game Ive had in years. It brings us comfort, happiness, & stability in a crazy world. The underlying theme of the game is promoting mental health care irl while supporting your plants on the game. We have so much fun decorating our room, making our plants burst with emotion, and picking up dust bunnies. We had a really challenging year mental-health wise this year, and this game truly brought us comfort. ILY dustbunny and Empathy forever.
Found this scrolling Facebook, started it last night and sent our friends invites we love the online feature so far! So cute keep up with the updates.
We would play this game waaay more if they added more plants and variegated versions like mint monsteras or albo stingray alocasias etc. Really relaxing game though we play it most nights before bed.
Absolutely love this game, Im a big plant person and it has us in a chokehold. We are on here multiple times a day taking care of our babies thank you so much to the creators you guys did a wonderful job.
Im so happy we found this game we were on TikTok looking for fun and relaxing games to play and this one was recommended. We were immediately intrigued because we loveeeee plants! But the concept of this game is so different from everyone other game Ive played. Empathy, the cards, hammy, etc! Its all so cool and fun. You dont NEED to spend money on this game, but unfortunately we have 0 self control and totally do lol. Its so fun decorating your room.
Fun but you have to spend money if you want a cute room or more items to get energy.
It's a comforting game, great graphics, and there's not many ads.
We really love this game. Its relaxing and getting the star currency is easier than we thought. Just take good care of your plants and youll be fine. We would love to see succulents added such as Aloe etc. Also it would be nice to be able to arrange the room differently, move the bed, desk, shelf. Overall its really good though.
We have never in our entire life (23 years old) have we left a review on any game EVER but the peace this game give us ha helped us but some times we have a lot on our chest that we have to get rid of an we depend on that game as our outlit our escape from reality we would love more writin space in the journals otherwise game perfect.
We love all the different decorations, emotibuns, plants and music so calming. Really good way to channel negative emotions into something beautiful. 10/10.
We cant believe this cute game doesnt more downloads! It not only is so relaxing its art is beautiful the shading the shadows and lighting you can tell developers have put so much time into the art alone! We truly think if you enjoy a visually stunning and calming app this is the go to! Wish we could post pic to show you guys how pretty it is.
One of the best games Ive ever played. Only complaint is its so tedious getting sparkles and carrots. Lovely game xx.
Ive been playing for a year and its the only mobile game ive stayed consistent with. We adore it so much.
This is a very fun game we love it. Its cute and reasonable. No unwanted adds and its free. The only thing we could say is it could be boring to impatient people but not us.
Im going through a bad depression rn, hate 2 say it but Ive been in a downward spiral 4 a bit so chances r Im only getting worse 4 a while but still, this game helps a lot. Usually we find relaxing games boring but this game has heart n soul poured into it, all the ads r optional, the characters r cute, its the perfect mix of entertaining n calming. Im only on our 2nd day of playing n im OBSESSED. Thx a ton, this game already means a lot 2 us.
Does anybody know how to access the camera for some reason we cant figure it out but overall, this is an awesome game.
We luv our pretty little room full of all our pretty little plants and our pretty little decor and our sweetie pie little buddy Empathy !! We really like the journal feature as well its v helpful for daily reflections !! Thx for sharing with us guys.
Super cute fun game. We enjoy very much.
We downloaded this because of an ad, and we honestly fell in love with it quickly! Its cozy, it lets you kinda take time for yourself while taking care of your plants which are your emotions! Super cute and have been playing since we downloaded it.
Exploring cozy music good for emotional support by the way Im just a kid so we dont know what Im doing but by the way you should buy this game its really really good.
